Rubbish!!! Web page froze at 80%. Refreshed many times and still nothing. Then the live chat was also lost.

Nothing went wrong (yet!) I am just extremely suspicious of so many positive reviews being posted (almost constantly atm), with so many of these glowing reviews almost always mentioning the call handler’s name or tag. I smell a rat, and think it’s an inside job to boost positive ratings and may even be being posted by the telephone staff themselves to boost their image or gain a work bonus for gaining the most positive feedback reviews. I know Starbuck’s staff do it, so why not One Call workers? It just seems weird to have such a frequency of reviews being left during a short window, most mentioning the rep who assisted them. In reality, most genuine callers or online chat enquiries are made by customers who are not likely to even remember the name of the One Call staff member who helped them, let alone immediately rush to leave a glowing 5* online review using said persons name. Nah, sorry One Call. I think you are somehow artificially creating these reviews to increase your actual rating score. Do feel free to prove me wrong.

Disappointing to find out only after policy is taken, that when I leave you will only issue proof of NCD at a max of 9 years, irrespective of how many you came in with! I started this policy with 16 years, I fully expect to leave in 12 months with proof of 17 years, NOT 9! I’m sure if I tried to change my figures I’d be accused of insurance fraud, but when your broker does it, it’s called T&Cs... frustrating and unnecessary. OneCall need to fix this as other insurance companies recognise a long blemish free driving record. I sense a discussion with the ombudsman coming on.

I am not very tech savvy and am much happier speaking to someone however, due to the current Covid situation, it has to be done via the internet and it has taken me over an hour just to change to a new vehicle. Way too long in my opinion. However, the girl who helped me ( SL4 ) was incredibly patient and helpful, and friendly and I am happy with the service I received from her.

Just be aware of the charges they make for any simple amendments, very high. Good initial service but as soon as you need to change details they hit you with extortionate charges.

I did find it very easy to navigate through to changing over my car insurance to another car,however what I couldn’t understand and agree with is the charges yes the value of my new car went up but so did my wife’s new car by several thousands yet her insurance only charged £20 admin fees. My insurance went up yet the engine size is smaller I had to pay £70 wasn’t happy about this. I renewed this year’s insurance with you but on the information given I won’t be next year

you might be constantly striving to improve but it took 6 days to try and get a new policy for my car insurance and when the quote came it was overpriced. Didn't bother in the end. went someplace else....

Hi, Firstly let me say my call with HB1 was first class. On a more important note, I`m so disappointed that my renewal was three times the original quote because I had a claim on another policy. My motorcycle fell over on my driveway and I made a claim to have it repaired, I wasn`t on it and no one was injured. Thirty years of motoring and this is how I`m treated for making one claim, my policy goes from just under £300 to almost £900. It`s quite disgraceful.

All we are trying to do is insure another car, and the other insurance company wants to know about the NCD and I just could not get the right information across as to what they wanted. All I asked is to give you the permission to speak with them through live chat. But it’s to much to ask by all accounts. Very unhappy at this moment.

Contacted Chat to amend our policy as we will have a new car being delivered in a couple of days. Initially first chat couldnt help so had to re open a different chat with Customer team. Still waiting for a response!

Time delay to actually get connected was ridiculous then the gap bewteen each text - its as if I was one of a number of conversations happening at one time. Very very frustrating that I could quickly get my query sorted via a phone conversation. Really poor service

Add an additional driver: I attempted 3 times to this online, each instruction to contact an operator. A lengthy wait to make contact, then the operator told I could do this online and save £15, which obviously I couldn’t. The operator then asked me the same questions as those online, I gave the same answers, amendment completed. Painfully slow, and a waste of my time.

Insurance itself appears to be good. However, when one downloads all the documents at one go it is not known where these documents are. One can download individually but when printing (from PDF) the text itself is not printed

I'm happy enough with my policy, only took it out on 3 July, it's 28 July today. I asked whether I could add a friend to my policy for a weekend. After a very slow process in waiting my turn to post my question on webchat then go through lengthy process which I could have done myself I was told it wasn't an option to add a driver unless I cancelled my policy and took out a new policy and added an additional driver then. Really slow, poor service with an unsatisfactory outcome
