“Ordered a booster cushion for my mother. It never arrived. Called them up and they said Hermes had not attempted delivery but had sent it back to them !!!!! They would send out another. This never turned up either. Another call to customer services. Promised to send it out again, it never turned up. Final call to customer services to cancel order and request refund which did turn up as a cheque. Now the final sting in the tail, each time you call customer services you are paying premium rate call charges. My three calls to try and rectify their total incompetence ended up costing me over £16. Absolutely the worst online shopping experience ever combined with the sharp practice of fleecing you with premium rate call charges. Totally unethical company who totally justify the many one star reviews. I will be avoiding these sharp operators in the future and my advice to you is to do the same.”

“My order aced on 26/12/21 costof that order £255 28. Only received so three items leaving £118 for goods not received, they day was in order received, (certainly was not.). Got hold of them eventually after phone calls holding on, send there must have been mix up on order and would send again. Still not received them on 9/12/21. Have sent email to address returned after 4 attempts saying server not accepting it. Now writing in person to them. All I want now is refund for monies owing. Then going to close account, fed up with nothing but hassle customer services couldn't care less.”

“My order was not what i expected. Trying to get hold of someone regarding my return has been a headache. They say that their get back to you within 72hrs but dont, several emails later they still havnt... all i want is a returns label... never again”

“Would you believe it Coopers are STILL bombarding my promotion emails with their unsolicited adverts many days after my previous adverse review!!! Do they read these reviews are are they just being perverse? If not, please DO share my comments with the culprits ... Peter Swan”

“Wrote, enquiring about stock of their 'bicycle trailer'. Not only did they not bother answering me, the very next time I checked their site the trailer was missing. I had obviously reminded them to carry out a stock check. I wouldn't mind but there own site states: 'We aim to respond to queries within 24 hours however, please allow longer during busy periods'. I've waited about 2 weeks so far?”

“Very disappointed with the product jo40. Pack of 4 chome suction pads. £15 99 . They do not stay as a suction for very long . Would not recommend or ever buy again ,waste of money.”

“Placed an order from the Winter 2021 catalogue which states 20% off everything only to find when delivered i was charged the full price. No chance of being able to contact anyone on the phone as there was a waiting time of 25 people. The goods that i ordered were shoddy goods not worth the special price. I would strongly suggest to any other customers to be extra careful with any orders to avoid disappointment.”

“I ordered an Air Rhino from Coopers. Unfortunately it was incomplete. They arranged to have it collected but, although they stated on their Invoice that we would get a full refund, you have to pay the carriage costs of the return. At last, after sending them a message on the pending refund through their web site and I called the customer services, they took 3 weeks to reimburse us (minus £3). I will never use this company any more. I feel very disappointed indeed. They wasted my time and money.”

“We have been waiting over three weeks for our order. We have been told it has been dispatched but Hermes haven’t even received it yet. We keep emailing them but they take nearly two days to reply . Dreadful service. Never ever again”

“They do not respond within 24 hours. I spoke to one older female member of staff and whilst she wasn't rude, by the tone of her voice you could tell she didn't want to be there or deal with me. With the current situation, she should think herself very lucky that she's even got a job. If it were me, I would dispense with her services and employ someone who does want it.”

“ordered the spin mop last week it is absolutely useless it just does not spin the worst thing I have ever ordered from you it is now in the bin as it would have cost more than the product was worth to return it you would do well to take it off the market very disappointed”

“I stressed that I couldn't carry weight and that the package would have to go round the back. I also stressed that I am in poor health. The package has been left, battered to Hell, propped at the front door. I suggest that you retrieve it and refund my money.”

“We had issues with not receiving 2 orders we placed - one that my mother (aged 89) placed over the telephone and one that I placed on line through the website. The excuse given when we eventually managed to speak to someone was that they had been very busy! To top it all my mother has received her telephone bill and has incurred charges of over £12.00 trying to speak to someone in customer services to resolve the issues. Be warned that the contact number given on the website is a premium number and is charged at 45p a minute and you are left holding on the phone for ages when the call connects. This is absolutely appalling and we will NOT be ordering anything from this company again! They do not deserve any stars!”

“Firstly I purchased two solar trees for the garden they worked last year but then didn't this year, Coopers sent two replacements through which are currently working, but they only came with one stick to put in the ground, I've emailed and had no response, leaving me no option but to leave this review. I sent photos of what I received and the packaging but no response at all. Very disappointed with this service, I've had problems before and had to chase with numerous emails and phone calls, I just can't be bothered this time, I just won't order anything from Coopers again. Bad customer service.”

“Doesn't deserve 1 star! Took over 2 months, with numerous emails and phone calls to get refunded. Accused of not returning an item ! Even though I had proof of courier collecting it. If I hadn't chased my refund it would not have been given even though they had the returned item. A very, very underhand company. After over 2 months of hassle, only the scantest of apologies ! I will never order anything from them again. Avoid! Shoddy customer services, product quality below par and fanciful catalogue descriptions. But, if you must order, use a credit card in case you need help with a refund and keep proof a of payment and proof of any returns.”

“I received one replacement parasol, it arrived damaged and used. That was collected and another parasol was sent. That second replacement was also damaged and used. Seriously, who are the people in the warehouse checking the outgoing products. Coopers of Stortford you need to be aware that you’re sending out damaged and used goods from your warehouses. Look at the reviews and do something about it. Clearly you don’t it seems.”
