Have discontinued using Coopers. Most goods are Cheap Chinese imports sold at an inflated price. Most solar lights never last. Better value in local stores or on line.

Placed an order & when confirmation came through they had added another item on. I rang as soon as I saw it only to be told ring at 9am the next day & it would then be cancelled. The person said they had cancelled it then an email came through to say sorry cannot be cancelled you will just have to send back when you receive them & I would only get my money back when they receive the goods back . Will never use them again.

Purchased a number of items with a discount code when spending over £30. Unfortunately not all the items were in stock. But what was, were dispatched with a note to say the other item was to follow. When the final item was delivered coopers took full price for item from my wife’s account despite saying they would be honouring discount given that when the order was made not all items were in stock. Coopers you are a dishonest trader. You acted dishonestly on the phone call saying you’d take £7.79 then processed a payment of £9.99. We have a record of that phone call and we certainly will not purchase from you again. An absolute disgrace.

Bought a weed sweeper less than a year ago used it twice last year, tried to use it yesterday not working, phoned Coopers said the item was discontinued and I had only 28 days for a refund, I said surely by law that is not the correct procedure, phone was hung up end of conversation,booklet will go straight in the bin from now on.

Oh dear, things are not looking good for this company. I've had a live telephone call and a web chat, problem still not rectified. I placed an order on the 9th February, order total £119.98, the money was taken from my account immediately, I saw on the 13th a further amount of £119.98 was taken, I called and spoke with a very pleasant Daniel who unfortunately could not help me and even told me that the money would not have been taken twice, that it's impossible as the company does not store card details. I tried to explain that I was in fact looking at my online bank statement as we spoke and that the money had most certainly left my account twice, he said his supervisor would call me to explain ... still waiting for that call!! I've been in touch again this morning via web chat with Mikey and he couldn't help either, surprise surprise, he has also told me his supervisor will call me today. No where during the order process was I informed of a "pending transaction" payment being taken as well as the original payment, in my opinion this is theft and fraud. Apparently my order was shipped 2 days ago and the "pending transaction" will be back in my account within 2/3 days. If I had known all this before I placed my order I would not have done so and will most certainly not be making any purchases. Not entirely sure where my order was shipped from that it is taking so long to arrive! At this point I am seriously regretting placing an order. I shall be reporting the company to the necessary authorities

Coopers have taken 2 payments from my bank account for a defective water cooler that's going back. Been told it can take up to 7 working days to be put back in but they couldn't tell me why I have a pending payment when payment has already been taken! Customer 'services' had no idea, appeared condescending and uninterested from get go. Avoid at all costs as they haven't got a clue and sell below par goods going by their reviews!

Customer in Shipley My wife ordered 2 items when the arrived they were the wrong colour, we sent them back and reminded them of the item descripion and the colour required. After approxomatley 1 month there had been no contact from them or a delivery of the correct items. Today 8.12.20 my wife contacted them by phone to be given short change and told that they knew nothing of the problem, did not offer to help or assist in finding the items and were unhelpfull. Unfortunatly I did not keep the Royal mail recipt, we won't be buying fom them again.

I ordered two soothing sounds machines in September 2020. The on/off button stopped working after two days. Told to dispose of machines and replacements will be sent. Three weeks later nothing arrived. Told I will then receive refund. It's now December and no refund. Bernie on customer services said she would definitely get the refund paid to me. Then where is it please?

My mother ordered cushions; £19.99 buy one get one free. The quality was so poor, no one would pay £1.99 let alone £19.99! This company bombard the elderly/housebound with offers and money off vouchers to induce them to buy their overpriced tatt. Added to this they charge when you call and charge for returns. All in all shocking.

A word of warning about Coopers pricing policy. I bought a pair of magnetic curtain tie backs costing £12.99 ------------ then bought 3 more IDENTICAL pairs from Amazon at £3.99 each. I don't mind paying a little extra -- but £9 difference on each pair --- would have cost me an extra £27 should I have bought them at Coopers!!! I did send an email to the company asking for an explanation, but didn't receive an answer.

Very sad and actually disgusted to see that Coopers are selling vented face masks (these masks are banned by many countries!!). No wonder so many people around Bishops Stortford are in stores breathing all over the rest of us. For goodness sake please stop selling these or the town will soon be on the Watch List 😡

My mother ordered goods early may still waiting . Have phoned several times as they have cashed the cheque 14th may x have since written a letter to which they replied asking for proof of cheque and bank statement . Calling us liars in so many words. We won't be using them again and are taking it further if no joy this time .

by keeping me waiting in a queue when I rang to chase up my order on three occasions I never got through but ended up with phone charges of nearly £10. Would never order again and will tell everyone I can of my experience. Absolute rip-off. Also they don't publish an email address and there is no link on their website so there is no way to complain directly - I certainly will not be phoning them!!

I stopped buying from Coopers years ago. They are the worse company on earth. Goods: everything they sell used to be made in china (I never give china a capital letter). The goods were complete and utter rubbish. Now at a different address I have received a catalogue. I intended ordering about six items THOUGHT THEY MIGHT HAVE CHANGED ~ Read reviews. It seems they have got worse!! Thank you my friends for your reviews. I will not order and never get caught by them again. They are an absolute disgrace. This is how they stay afloat. They buy the cheapest made rubbish from china. Charge 90% over what they paid for it, and most people do not bother to send goods back, and do not order again. This is where they make their money but their largest revenue is the telephone calls. The longer they make you hold on the more money they are making. Never telephone them. Never order from them. Make them sink. Would be doing good for the country. They are an embarrassment.

This review relates mainly to customer service, as I am still awaiting the goods I ordered three weeks ago, so cannot comment on these. When I ordered some garden tiles and a solar hanging basket, I expected a confirmation email. I never received it, or indeed any communication from Coopers so I checked my bank statement and saw that the money was in the 'pending' column. I decided to wait a bit longer, given the current situation. The money left my account ten days ago but when the items had still not arrived yesterday, I telephoned to enquire about progress, only to be told that I had returned it a few days ago. I assured the rather unhelpful customer services clerk that I had done no such thing. Then, she said that it had been sent to the wrong address and that I must have made a mistake. I assured her that, after 20 years, at this address, I know where I live. She said that the money would be refunded. When I told her that I would prefer to have the goods she said that the process had started and couldn't be stopped, so I would have to re-order. At this point, the phone went dead. I telephoned again and spoke to a different operator, who was just as disinterested and unhelpful as the previous person. She insisted that the error was my fault because Whoever took the order on the phone, would have double checked the details. I explained AGAIN, that I had ordered online and had received no contact (in any shape or form from Coopers) she told me that the only thing she could do would be to resend the order. There was no mention of a refund, or of a process which could not be stopped. However, it will take 10 working days to arrive, meaning that, from order to delivery (assuming that it does arrive as promised) will have taken 5/6 weeks!! DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and NO APOLOGY, not even a half-hearted one. Neither of the ladies I spoke to would have lasted five minutes on one of my teams, where sloppy attitudes like this could have cost lives

Two orders I placed in April have not arrived. I tried many times to contact you by phone but wait far too long. I left query on line and eventually received 2 letters on 28th May although dated 22nd. I have not been able to contact you as lines too busy. Very sad as the 10 days given for contact will now expiry. My problem could have been easily solved if you had contacted me by phone or email. Maureen REDMOND
