WARNING: Do not buy garden equipment from this company. I bought a lawn raker and now that the the tines are broken they do not sell spare parts and have no idea where to get them as they bought the lawn raker overseas. What a waste of my money. If I bought Qualcast etc. I would be able to find the spares. I will never anything from Coopers of Stortford again.

I have been short changed to the tune of £27:50 due to only one pack of mens pants delivered instead of two. Trying to e.mail them is hopeless. NEITHER of the two different e.mail addresses in their catalogue work and phoning them puts me 12th in a long list of waiting calls at 55p per minute. WHAT A RIP OFF. If this is their idea of customer service they needn't expect any more custom from me

I ordered a hand held vac on August 27th 2019. It is now 21st September and so far no delivery. Tried ringing, left message no answers, also written. I should have ordered a similar item from Amazon, would have been delivered next day.

I wish I didn't need to give this company any star at all. Please DO NOT use this company. I have an ongoing issue with them about a fruit cage I purchased in January 2018, so last year. After delivery, it was not erected until around May time. It cost me £39.99 plus postage (today the same product is listed at only £17.99 … wonder why)!? The trouble is that around May of this year (2019) the netting developed more holes than it had originally and now it's just disintegrating and almost in bits (see photos attached). I have contacted Coopers, who tell me it carries just a year's guarantee. How ludicrous for a fruit cage, which has to survive all elements thrown at it over the years. I have sent Coopers 2 letters with photos of the netting, together with a sample of it as it is now, so they can see for themselves. However, apart from one short letter I received from them, saying that they 'have been selling this product since 2014 and have not received any other complaints of this nature' (which itself is wrong, as when I looked at the first 5 reviews, 4 of them were recommending not buying one of these fruit cages, as the netting is awful and won't last) - I told them they should look at their own web site reviews, I have not received any further communication from them. I'm completely disgusted with their attitude and I now have to purchase a quantity of decent strong netting to go around the frame bought from them.

Mobile phone ordered and dispatched minus SIM cards.. emailed four times over two weeks - received three automated responses and nothing else. Totally unacceptable service (i.e. none at all).

Coopers returned my order with all my card details, including secure number, signature, address, everything to someone else. Cards had to be cancelled. Called Coopers, 14th in queue on premium rate, only to be told she only took orders. Was told she would pass to someone else who would call me back next week. Advised I wanted a call back today by end of business or will be seeing a Lawyer. Was assured it would be passed urgently and I'd be called back today. No call back received. I will never buy from or trust this company again. Incompetent.

My card details, including the full number, secure code, address, etc were sent to someone else by Coopers. Called to complain. After waiting as 14 th in queue to be told they could only take orders. Said they would pass to someone else as urgent. Waited all day for call but never received a call back. Coopers do not even deserve a one star. You have a security breach by incompetent staff and don't even have the courtesy to call back or look into it. I certainly won't be buying anything else from this company. Coopers breached my confidential information which is illegal.

Absolutely disgusted. Will never buy from them again. Total ripoff. Their phone numbers are premium rate at 55p per minute. Needed some help with a dodgy item ended up costing me almost £8 in call charges. After all that problem was not resolved by useless technical support. Found out they're just a call centre with only a database to assist them. Guy I spoke to was on his notice and blew the whistle to me.

I will never order anymore goods from this firm, their customer service is TERRIBLE and the good rarely arrive when expected you have to keep chasing them up!

For two days on and off I tried to reach customer service having been 13th in the queue then 15th then 11th. Eventually I decided to hold on and when I got down to 3rd in the queue I was cut off. I had bought a hot brush two months ago and when using it the other day the brush broke away from the handle. Hopefully I will be able to contact them but I will never order from this company again. Their customer service stinks.

WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY TO AVOID LATE MAILING, VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICES, 14TH & 17TH IN CALL QUEUE, 3 DAYS + TO RESPOND TO NON DELIVERY OF ORDER!!! Ordered birthday gift for father on 6th August 2019 for birthday on 15th in plenty of time. Coppers say all deliveries should be with in 5 days. Item still not arrived on 14th!! Tried to call numerous occasions, 14th inline call queue and 17th!! Tried to email automatic reply stating get back to me in 3 DAYS!!! Dreadful dreadful company. Will never buy from them again. Finally got through to customers services and it was only mailed on the 13th by Hermes, great probably never get it then.

A sizing issue cost me £14.00 to rectify with this company! I bought a pack of seamless yoga bras. They were two sizes too large, so I posted them back to Coopers at a cost of £4, asking for a refund instead of an exchange because their sizing is difficulty to judge. Almost 19 days later I hadn’t received the refund and decided to phone them to find out why. I waited for 20 minutes (24th in the queue) at a cost of 7p + my standard call rate per minute. Only to be told the refund had gone through to my PayPal account, but if it hadn’t gone through they would do it immediately. I rang off and checked my PayPal account. There was no refund! Then Vodafone sent me a text message to say I had reached my monthly ceiling of £10 on premium numbers!! I have not phoned a premium number since May 2019. I then sent them a scathing email laying it all out with photographic proof and mentioning rip-off Britain. Within a few hours I received an email from PayPal to say they had refunded my money. Yesterday I visited a Vodafone store, and they confirmed that the £10 was all for 08444824400, which is Coopers number. :( I will avoid this company at all costs in future.

I cannot comment on Coopers policies, I merely wanted to order something from them, But thought to do some research first! you know, I'm sending money, with no guarantee, are they hot air? am I wasting my signature, savings etc? After reading a few comments here, I am convinced not to hunt the cheque book out!! But it also brings another question into My head. Why do we Have to pay in advance for things that may arrive in the post, may not, may work when they they get here, may not!. Surely the onus needs to be refocused on the suppliers of these goods and 'cheques/credit cards/ any payment methods , only get approved to the supplier once the purchases have arrived and work as advertised!!

Bad customer service. I ordered a hose it leaked so they said don’t sent it back. They sent another out I refused it and I never heard anything so emailed them . They don’t reply I phoned them I asked were my money was she said you signed for it I said the courier gave me a card so I told them the bar code number then she said I’ll speak to my manager and give you the refund that was a week ago. Where is my refund . I will never shop there again.

Placed order 24th July (Coopers confirmed order 5 day delivery) I chased order on email 30th July - no reply. Telephoned today 2/08 to be told item out of stock and would be another 2 weeks. Extremely bad customer service for not getting back to me and for the long wait on the phone to find out my item would be yet another 2 weeks making 4 weeks total. Would certainly not buy or attempt to buy from this company

Purchase a battery operated lawnmower in 2017 the battery charger stopped working,contacted coopers by e-mail on two occasions and there responce was we don't supply battery chargers on there own and your guarantee is up,bearing in mind you only use it in the summer months ,just starting my small claims court case against them they should not be able to treat customers like this,they have a duty to the public to action any puchases that are faulty ,I am left with a £200 pound lawnmower and two batterys that are useless because of a faulty charger,NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Coopers are verging on extortion. They send the wrong order then charge you seven pence a minute on the phone, to sit in a queue of twelve people waiting to be seen to. My wife sent an e'mail ,but guess what! no reply. My advice is do not order anything from coopers

If I could give it no stars I would this company doesn’t know how to run a company customer service is disgusting how they talk to you and treat you they shouldn’t be able to run a company my product is still not come if not send me no tracking details just told me I should wait in for three days and it’s already been seven Terrible do not order from this company not worth the stress
