“I ordered a Cricut maker machine about 2 years ago now and wasn’t offered an extended warranty at the time. So I started having problems because it would not cut the cut sensormarks or calibrate. I called Cricut into almost a year after purchase and was only told that the machine was out of warranty and it was nothing they could do to help but offer me a percentage off of a new one. Do they think I’m a fool. I would NEVER BUY another one nor refer anyone else to buy one from Cricut.com. This machine was a waste of my money. I even tried to contact the CEO of the company because this machine was a lemon from the start. I’ve been writing and sending videos of what’s happening and still NO ANSWER….”
“Cricut charged my card without my AUTHORIZATION then trying to convince me I’m on auto renew (which I’m NOT)! I ordered and paid for Access in May, then I saw a charge on my card for July!! Reached out to Cricut and their explanation they didn’t charge me/forget to charge me for June! Then the ap is telling me I have NO ACTIVE SUBSCRIPTION!! Bunch of THEIVES!!”
“My Cricut Explorer 2 is 4 months old, already it quit scorching. Called customer service and they had me try a few things and agreed it was not working and would send me a replacement part. This was Tuesday. They said, I should have it by Friday or Monday. It’s now Thursday and I have not received it and I need it to finish a project I need for Sunday. While the tracking shows it’s held up somewhere, which is not Cricuit’s fault, I fault them for not mailing out parts for machines that are still under warranty by Priority Mail. They mail it the least expensive way and that is not fair!! I see so many problems with the Cricut and a F rating with the Better Business Bureau is very concerning!! Another thing that is concerning is that if your machine is under warranty and you need a replacement, they send you a refurbished one. I asked if I get a refurbished one, does my warranty start again with the receipt of the refurbished one? The answer is no. I think this practice needs to be investigated by The Attorney General’s Office. If I do need a replacement and they send me a refurbished one without an extended warranty, I will be filing a complaint.”

“Likes some of the other customers, my Maker rubber rollers went bad after minimum use. Customer service was consistenly pleasant but not helpful. To acknowledge a defect but only provide $25-$50 for a credit on a new machine is insulting. They don’t even offer suggestions for repairs. “Warranty covers a year”. The credit is for the purchase of a machine.
After watching videos on line I finally got the machine to work.
First lesson open box and ensure rollers are aligned properly. Second lesson, if mat doesn’t grip, check rollers.
Cricut alleges they made allowances for the defect in the Maker 3.”
“I placed order for cricut 3 with bundle and access subscription. Received only half of items I should have gotten in bundle. First was told the day after I placed my order, the bundle changed so I wasn’t entitled to those items…then I was told I ordered a mystery box and that is what I should have received. Well, after reviewing my email order confirmation as well as my online account under orders nowhere did it say mystery box I am missing the majority of items that was in a bundle only to be told there was a missing box that got delivered, but that I actually didn’t get it. I am so confused after talking to a customer service representative as well as a lead supervisor, I will not order through this company again I paid over $450 and received partial shipment of what I ordered. At this point I just want to return everything the excitement of creating has disappeared. I have never dealt with customer service that didn’t look to help a customer resolve an issue. I obviously paid for the bundle. I did not get the full bundle was told that I had a missing box, but it was probably delivered at a neighbors house all they had to to keep me happy was simply ship a few items that I did not get in a bundle I paid for horrible customer service. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I purchased. I see the same reviews with the same complaints that I’m complaining about it’s a shame make sure to let everybody know not to order through this company they don’t stand behind anything. You would think that either in your email confirmation for your order or in their own program that shows your orders. When you login it would give a full description of what was sent to you. No packing slip no description no picture probably because they choose to do this to customers as I’m reading and reviews. Absolutely disappointed!!!!”
“Unbelievably poor product. I spent the extra money to get the best they had to offer and it worked a total of 3 times. Then, the rollers had to be replaced. After replacing (which was a real pain), it wouldn't take in the matting. No customer service, no repairs, no repair parts- absolutely ridiculous lack of interest in the end-consumer. I found one guy that states he repairs with recycled parts, but he wants me to send him $100 BEFORE he fixes the machine.
Spending the high dollar-amount to buy the Cricut was my 1st mistake, sending some dude $100 before he even sees the unit would be mistake number 2. Not happening. Save your money and buy a sharp pair of scissors.”

Very disappointed dealing with CRICUT online purchasing system…
I purchased an item on 23 April 2024, but I made a mistake purchase, which I realized just a few hours later..
I called immediately CRICUT support, and spoke to Sara after waiting on the phone 45 minutes (case no 6977113), she told me it is too late to cancel and that I have to wait to receive the item because it is out of her hands. So she told me when I get the item, I had to call support again and ask permission to send it back and that they will supply with a return label..
Finally I received the item 2 days ago on the 4th of march 2024. Today the 6th of march, I called support to get an authorization of return and a return label. It took another waiting time of 45 minutes to be able to speak to somebody, named Biba, she was very gentle and helpful, but the system that Cricut has is terrible, after she asking me several questions and creating another case no 7003044 and asking me to take pictures of the purcel I received, which I did not open, and sent the pictures to her with a lot of difficulty, another waste of time of nearly 2 hours on phone…
Now she finally told me that I will get an authorization within 24 hours by email so only then I can return the item…. Then again I have to wait another 45 days to get back my credit for this item I purchased by mistake and changed my mind to buy it within 10 hours of ordering it online.
So CRICUT collected the payment on my card on the 23 April 2024, and I am supposed to be refunded in 3-4 months time…
I find this terrible purchasing from CRICUT online, I usually buy from AMAZON, and return or cancellation is immediate, not to wait 3-4 months …

“Be very careful with what financial information you give to Cricut for your subscription ! I canceled and they continued to charge my card . I called customer service and they said they could find no account under my name . They said all they could do was put a note in the system . Well that stopped the payments for about 5-6 months then last night I get a notification they started up again . Called my b and and canceled m y card then called recut again . They still claim I have no account and they have no record of removing my $$ . So now there's at least 2 bucks gone . If you cancel - cancel whatever card you used as well !”
“I have spent over 3 hours just trying to make a purchase with Cricut.com. It was more like a bait and switch situation. I've never purchased with this company and was excited to order my first bundle. After having the constant offers to use my Affirm to pay at zero percent offered by Cricut and through Affirm, I get to check out and it turned into a small nightmare saying you can't use Affirm because it's taking on a $9.95 design space package on to my $362 order. Called and spent an hour with online assistance to be told you really can't use Affirm when they include their subscription with the package. Insane! Don't offer it and don't mislead the public! I had heard horror stories about their customer service and now I understand. They included 0.99 off my order as a 10% discount. I had also subscribed for the $50.00 off first order and never received that either. I just don't want to see other honest consumers be mislead with them.”
“Supposedly ‘free’ design space which you have to upload to use the machine. However very few designs are free, there are prices ranging from 99p to £6+. To get decent designs you need a subscription to Access.”

“I have been using cricut for almost a year now without any issue. They keep doing a rebooting every once and then and the last one mess up every thing for me, I called and the representative that I have after waiting 1 hour and half made me delete the old software and upload a new version, we try so many things,nothing works. After more than a hour,she finally asked me to send her videos so she can send me a replacement,which I did. The replacement came after 12 days and I installed without any issue. 2 days after I m trying to print some labels and the same issue that I had with the previous machine occurred again, I called cricut and this lady literally use me as the guinea pig for over an hour,trying different things and watching by zoom,violating my privacy,I run a small business so I depend on labels to sell, so I tried to go along. After more than a hour again trying different things,she was keeping asking me to try some others things,I lost it. She says she will put a credit on my account so I don't have to pay for 3 months but they actually have a bug that some customers complained about and they are trying to fix it . Cricut is $10 a month,how do you think $30 will make up for the money I lost for those weeks I couldn't sell ? And why in the library of shenanigans would you make me try so many things when I told you already that I did those with the previous lady and it wasn't working? To finally telling me is a bug that you guys trying to fix ! Can you guys pay for the products that have been sitting here all along? Do you understand that I lived through my business? Which means bills to pay ! I m just disgusted!”
“This is the worst cutting machine everything is very expensive but that is not the worst thing the program never never works like they said. The costumer service is terrible you can wait hours for a answer and never works. They don’t like to know that the program is terrible sometimes are very mine. Is a waste of money and time.
