We bought a very expensive washer dryer that they said would deliver it in 10 to 21 days and it's been more than 40 days already. We contact them and they say they have no idea when it is coming back in stock. The worse part is that they still say on the website that if you buy it, it will take 10 to 21 days, what is a big lie! They say we can get any other, but all the others are cheaper than the one we bought, so it's not a deal for us!!

I've never received such bad service in all my life. I ordered a microwave oven from them the week before last and paid £19.99 for an express delivery. It was delivered on Monday with a smashed door. These things happen and it was a chance for Curry's to act swiftly and surprise and delight me with their customer service......not a bit of it. I called them on Wednesday to report the smashed product. The lady took my details and told me some one would call me back. Nothing. Nada. So I called them back on Saturday and explained that I had paid for express delivery because, with a young family, I really need a micowave. Only then did they offer a refund of the express delivery and promised they would have a replacement delivered by the end of the weekend. If only! So on Wednesday (a full week after my first call) I called them back to enquire as to the status of my order. I spoke to Steve who was awful - he kept c;losing me down and being really defensive. He refused to pass me onto a manger to talk to and even refused to give me his full name so I express my displeasure at his poor level training/ call handling. He did promise to get a manager to call me back today before 10.30....it's 10.30 as I write and my phone has stayed stubbornly silent. I'm holding my breath to see if I'll get a replacement at the allotted time tomorrow. If you're reading this Curry's here is my customer ref no CUR1742962256. Go and listen to the call from tester day and offer Steve some retraining - he sorely needs it. For a high street brand this a Keystone Cops level of customer service. Basic, basic stuff. Call back when you say you will and treat customers with respect. Poor.

I would have given this store less than one star if I could! I really rarely write a review but this time I feel I have to. I bought a laptop lenovo yoga i5 from that store and I only opened its box and I did not even switch it on because I found the i7 version which i was looking for in the first place ( it was not available on currys website when I purchased the i5 version). I took it to the store to return it but they refused that saying because it was unboxed!!! Nobody told me anything about that when I bought it in store!!! Finally they accepted the return after charging me 10% of the laptops cost!!!.Totally disappointed as I have been a loyal customer for currys for years and this is the first time ever I returned something. And what makes the matter more upsetting is that when you buy an item online you can return it even if you unbox it!!!!!! I did not know any of that before. I have lost my faith in Currys and never buy anything from them again. My lovely Amazon , you can buy anything and use it for a month ( or even more sometime ) and can get a full refund if you return it.

DO NOT GO. DO NOT BUY THERE. the worst customer service ever experienced. If you are so unwise to buy there DO NOT purchase the know how care plan product insurance for repairs. That is the most legalised theft I have ever seen. I am 46 and lived in many countries and worked as a manager and believe me they are the worst. They kept my TV on repair for 3 weeks. I received wrong updates, they told me they had lost my TV, then they apologised and they found it. Then they said they would deliver it and sent me a text to confirm. Nobody showed up making me lose half a day from work. Then they decided to replace my original product with another TV. I accept, 4 days later the delivery is booked. They say they would call me 30' before delivery time. They call 5' before. I rush home from work ( only 20' away) and they are gone, saying they come back 45' later. I wait home and they do not show up. Another afternoon wasted. They said they would arrange a temporary TV 3 times and they would call me. Nobody ever called. THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS THAT IT IS HARD TO EXPLAIN . Reality is They simply do not give a f... about customers. I still have not got my TV back.

I would have preferred the option of no stars! Your customer service is shocking. You left me waiting all day for a delivery that did not arrive. I paid extra to receive my delivery on Thursday and waited in all day for nothing! I emailed, no response then I rang this morning to be told by the man who answered (who's name I took down) that he's been trying to sort other deliveries as this has been a big problem with the system and basically for me to call back on Sunday to see 'if' you were able to process. Refund or where my orders at! My order was a birthday present for today, I explained this and also that I would need a refund in order to buy another one. I'm now left without my delivery, without the money to buy another one and have the hassle of trying to contact someone on Sunday to see if you 'are able' to sort it! Oh and no response to my second email either... I won't be buying from you again

I bought a TV worth £1491 from 2014. It's broken after 3 years which is under warranty. Curry took my TV away and said May take 5 days to repair. After 7 days they text me my TV will be return on Monday but that didn't happen so I just waste a day waiting. I rang the customer service and he said TV is waiting part to repair so don't know when will return my TV. I got a text next day said my TV can't repair so give me a code to get another TV and need to go to shop to see what can you get. Utterly don't know what can I get. Everything done by a short text messages and Genuinely don't care your feeling and not very clear. I went to the shop and they can't get the code working then tell me the code is not active and not sure when will be active. So waste a journey and still don't know what's next. What a great experience!! Get tricked twice and spend so much money for a TV can only last 3 years. I won't go to curry again as they are genuinely don't care and not honest.

No money return for a returned item I asked at the Heathrow airport store for an extra battery for my galaxy i held in my hand. They sales person gave me one and said its the best. On my flight i noticed its only for IPhones. No problem, right? There is a customer service. Tones of emails, calls from out of the UK. We then agreed that my friends who came 2 month later will return the item and will arrange an reimbursement. 59GBP never came. In a huge number of emails they first said that they paid, and i shall prove that i didnt receive the money(what the f...?)Then they invited me to come back tot he UK to their store. Then i told them that in 2 weeks i will be in UK and asked where to come to solve it. Suprising: No answer. Only when i wasnt anymore in the UK(they had my dates) they told me to come to any store and start all over again and thats their only solution and nothing else. So they took the item and never returned my monery or gave any other item in return. I will take a lawyer

The most horrible experience I ever had. I bought the washing machine there. When it was delivered, the guy could not unplug our old washing machine, and claimed we needed a plumber. It turned out there was nothing to be done there, as they just needed to pull the pipe a bit stronger. I paid the fortune to plumber for nothing. On the following day the currys came to finally install the new washing machine, with one "small" issue - they forgot to load it in the truck!!! So, I wasted 2 days staying at home and waiting for their deliver for nothing. They called me later that day, saying they didn't have my washing machine anymore (how is that even possible???), and (!) they didn't have them in stock anymore! assuring me it will be sorted in 2 days and they would call back. Needless to say, it never happened. After getting through their customer service 2 days later, I was blamed for not accepting the washing machine in the first place, and suggested another machine (which turned out to be worse, but for the same price I paid, with only "slight" difference - mine was with £100 discount when I was buying it). And they still told me I needed to wait 48 hours to get the confirmation on the exchange! When I demanded to talk to the manager, I was told they do not see what is the issue, how the manager could help, and they do not think it's needed an escalation!

Unacceptable failing on delivery. They do not deliver essential items when booked and paid for. They do not reply to customer messages and their know how system is a joke - 10 minutes to speak to a human being and then on hold for a further 10. Shop elsewhere!

We bought a new oven from currys and were pressured to use knowhow as the installers. We paid £100 for this. The knowhow installer used no protective floor or unit covers, and as a result he damaged our brand new kitchen units during the installation. He also left muddy footprints throughout the hall and kitchen, and left assorted debris in the kitchen and across the drive – even though we had paid extra for them to remove all debris. When I complained to currys they said it was not their problem as knowhow are a different company, and passed me to their customer care team. Currys then ignored all contact from me. The knowhow team were useless and treated me like the damage was my fault. It took ages for them to initially respond, and months of me chasing to get to a resolution. Knowhow took no responsibility and did not help at all. It was up to me to find and then contact companies to repair and replace, and send these to knowhow. They even had the gall to inform me the quotes were in the wrong format! I had to constantly fight in order for our kitchen to be restored to its former condition. And received nothing from knowhow with regard to the mess and the debris. And they would not reimburse the installation costs. A shocking way to treat a former customer. Problems happen, but it’s how they are dealt with that shows what kind of company they are – knowhow have absolutely no interest in customers or their property, and have no follow up when there are problems. There are many other companies providing the same service. Use knowhow at your peril.

Currys AEG L6FBG842R wrongly advertised washing machine I purchased a AEG L6FBG842R 1600 spin as advertised off there web site. I later found out after contacting AEG direct it was a 1400 spin! Curry's have known this for over 6 weeks now as I rang saying you have sold me an inaccurate item as of your advertisement states and still states it's a 1600 spin! They refused to exchange to the same AEG 1600 spin washing machine Which I thought I had purchased in the first instance. They still haven't changed the description causing other vulnerable customers to buy this incorrect item. I personally won't be buying from currys again..

I tried to buy a high-end washing machine from Currys PC World recently and made all my payments etc. through a combination of their web-site and call-centre. Once the deal was done I went to the trouble of unhooking my broken washing machine and dragging out of the laundry room for recycling. Then at the last minute I receive email from Currys PC World telling me that the order has been cancelled. NO explanation at all! I call them up and talk to their customer service people. They tell me that I have some sort of security issue. Of course, I have no idea what this means since I am someone with faultless credit, no criminal record as well as being a long-standing customer of Currys PC World. I go up 2 levels of management asking why I am a security threat and they all tell me that Currys PC World will not give any reason. Their telephone staff were rude, impatient and obstinate. I have looked at the organisation’s finances and share price (parent company: Dixons) - it is doing very poorly as of April 2017. I am not surprised by this with such poor administration, inadequate due diligence and pathetic customer service. My recommendation is to avoid doing business with this organisation altogether. In the end, I got a much better deal anyway at ARGOS:-)

Ordered a cooker, given a delivery date, got a phonecall that morning to say they couldn't deliver as they had none in stock! Wound be the next week now. Contacted complaints department where we were basically told that we shouldn't have expected it then as They state it could take a week - 10 days or whatever....hello, you actually GAVE me the date! Kitchen dismanteled fitter on hold, we cancelled the order and spent hours trying to find another source, who guaranteed deliver next day....and was cheaper. A couple of hours later we got a phone call to say that Curry's were going to deliver the original no existant cooker in 10 mins! Utter incompetence! So far now, over the last few years I have ordered 2 cookers and a dishwasher and had problems with them all. In an excess of good will, they gave us £20......for all that inconvenience. My brother has also just had a failed delivery due to "wrong address and phone number.." from someone who knows exactly what he is doing and regularly orders on line! Do not use Currys, there are more reliable companies out ther

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I ordered a washing machine that arrived damaged. No problem, I thought...these things happen, I'll phone Currys and organise a replacement. Currys REFUSED to replace the item unless I called the manufacturer to report the fault. I think not Currys. YOU supplied me with a faulty item so YOU replace it. The stubbornness and rudeness of the customer support adviser beggared belief. Currys, you have lost a customer for life.

absolutely lost the plot over customer service wasted about 20 minutes backwards and forwards on the most stupid and time wasting telephone line. why cant I call the store direct - I bought the darned thing from this store ... yet I cannot call to get an update .. only because the lazy people did not call me .. get a real look at yourselves and get your customer service improved. Now I have to drive all the way in to the store to get an update and I am sure I will waste even more of my time with these idiots. you are losing the game unless you get the service support end improved -- try inviting some people onto your customer care lines instead of these stoooopid long auto call machines.
