My daughter paid to have her mobile phone screen repaired at the PC world/Ciurry/Car phone warehouse at Birstall in Leeds. 10 days later the screen cracked in what was obviously a tension crack. Upon returning it to them they refused to fix it under the 90 days guarantee as they claimed the phone had been dropped which it had not been and effectively accused my daughter of lying. After asking to complain I was told to phone customer service and after 45 minutes in the phone to 8 different people I was told the engineers decision at the shop was final and there was nothing more which could be done. Why would the engineer who carried out the repair say they had made a mistake? Exactly!

Next day delivery is a selection option. Once paid you get confirmation that delivery is next day. However the email sent out later has delivery 2 days later. What a joke!

I bought a camera online 6 days ago and received the usual confirmations by email promising delivery tomorrow. ... except this afternoon Curry's email to tell me they made a mistake and would it be ok if I wait another 3 weeks! I called and was answered by a young man who had obviously slept through his last customer services training course. He told me it was perfectly acceptable for Curry's to take payment for stock they didn't actually have. He told me they did amazingly have it in stock now (30 mins after emailing me to say it wouldn't be till next month) but no, they couldn't get it to me any quicker than another 3-5 days. Curry's have a £9 next day delivery option but it seems they weren't prepared to offer me this because .. well they had my money didn't they? When I asked for his supervisor he informed me that they "won't bother coming to the phone to repeat themselves". I cancelled the order and, although I have spent a lot of money with them in the past this experience will be my last. It should be a worry to you, if no surprise to me, Curry's, that so many customers here seem to rate you so poorly.

Went to curry's in Christchurch Dorset to urgently get a integrated washing machine only to be told they had non in the shop and we would have to look on line and pick up from Poole. Already unhappy I sat in the car park only to find that I could order and pick up IN THE CHRISTCHURCH STORE. To say I was unhappy is an understatement.

Customer care NOT helpful AT All! Spent over an hour being put from one place to another. In the end Tracy kept me hanging on several times while she went to speak to "her manager". No one knew anything about how things worked and were not willing to find out...so no help at all! I bought a food processor from currys after looking on their site. The item in question showed a beautiful video of the food processor. This had all the bits I wanted and needed at a very good price. I put it in my basket but as i was waiting to hear if a friend was coming to bring it to me or not, I went back to the item a few hours later and the price had gone up by £25! Then when my friend brought it over, there was a citrus press missing....this was clearly advertised in the beautiful video under the bold writing of the model number in question.. .as far as I am concerned this was false advertising. I was told the specification list further down the page did not mention or include the press.not impressed as it is not easy for me to return this item AND currys get a big fat 0 in customer care and helpfulness. They suck you in with good prices (changed when I showed an interest on line and price not honoured even though it was the same day...and underhand advertising of a Mercedes when they are really selling you a cheaper model (in less obvious place)

So called "Expert Fitters" from Currys were about as in-expert as they get. They failed to disconnect my integrated dishwasher. Ended up having to hire a proper kitchen fitter to do it at considerable time and expense. Knowhow team unhelpful and difficult to contact - I will NEVER use them again.

Purchased new Fridge Freezer 26th February - stopped working 3rd August. Reported 4th August. Technician visited to inspect 8th August confirmed failure and issued report through Curry's convoluted repairs company structure at 11:00hrs. Heard nothing and spent 2 hours on the telephone waiting and getting nowhere with incompetent staff. Try finding a number for their head office - they want to hide I think. Never again

ALL LIARS AND CHEATS AT CURRYS PC WORLD!! If I could give zero I would as this cheating lying bunch of scum aren't even worth 1 star. I had to come onto Trustpilot to share the worst deceitful retail experience I have ever witnessed. Currys pc world electrical stores online. I placed a phone order with them 1 day ago for an ipad pro which was listed on their website at quite a discounted price. When I spoke to the sales girl on the phone I asked if the price was an error and was the ipad in stock as the site suggested. She came back to me with a definite YES it is in stock and no it's the correct price and you can have this any day you wish. I arranged a delivery for Thursday. I received an email saying goods in stock and order being processed, money had already been taken from my credit card. And now the start of lies lies lies. All of a sudden I get an email to say my ipad was not in stock and after several calls to their sales line I kept being told different things and eventually told ipad not in stock and may never be stocked again!! When I demanded to speak to a manager to see what else could be done I was told I couldn't and managers have better things to do with their time!!! It is quite clear to me they slipped up with the price on the internet realised they had offered it to low in price and were not man enough to honour their mistake or even admit to it and maybe offer a voucher as a goodwill gesture but oh no far better to opt for lies! So they tell me it's never in stock and won't be ever again just so they don't have to honour that price I have heard many instances where Currys have behaved in a similar fashion Just google them and you will see. I decided to cancel the order which must have pleased Currys no end was then told you won't get your money back for 5 days That's the surest comment I have heard from them...pitty they couldn't be so sure with their customers orders. I will never deal with this shower of garbage again they are a bunch of liars and cheats. I have recorded all their calls and have contacted the trading standards to discuss this with them. I also contacted currys complaints email which is the address they put on trustpilot when they say how truly sorry they are as a reply to negative reviews and what a waste of time the idiots don't reply In the end I went to AO.com....wow what a difference perfect honest people. So if you read this Mr Currys pc world idiot be prepared for lots more reviews like this in the next few days

Our spare TV repeatedly lost channel signal after very little use. Just out of warranty so we had to pay £90 before they would look at it. Day for pickup they came in and literary dumped the TV on our new settee to remove stand they left withou any answers to our questions. Fortunately it was a factory fault but the return morning delivery were 3 hours later than the 4 hour time slot. Left for us to get TV working properly because they were running late. My advise check your appliance/TV or IT atCurrys and buy elsewhere.

We entered into a Contract with Curry's, Curry's broke the contract: Bought and paid for a washing machine, installation and collection of our old machine. They arrived on time BUT they couldn't install because they are not installers? I asked when they could install, they called the office and said, sorry we don't know - unbelievable! I told them to take the machine away, that I had taken a day out of work .... I called " customer services " - are they sure? Explained the situation and asked for a call back - guess what, yes they couldn't be bothered. I emailed 2 or 3 times, eventually they did email, were they offering a resolution, nope... The delivery drivers told me that they had just had the same problem with a dish washer. In short they sell you a service which they cant supply, then do rock all to resolve the issue, they broke their own contract. Will I ever shop with them again? Never- AVOID!

Had my money for over 3 weeks and failed to deliver by time stated. When I rang to chase they said it was out of stock. Offered to send same model in different colour which I agreed. Only when I checked the email and checked the product code they were sending me a completely different model. Makes no sense when the model they claimed they were sending is available. Clearly fobbing me off with a model they wanted to get rid of. They say to avoid unknown companies for fear of being scammed but I think we're more at risk from the bigger ones these days. I believe their intention is to fob customers off on the assumption they are in no position to hold out. They also sit on your money for weeks, that's got to be dodgy.

Thought they were being really helpful when they asked me if the laptop I was buying was for business use. I said, probably yes, in the future. Saw on Rogue Traders it's actually because as a business customer you get less rights! Absolutely disgusted! Typical of big companies and their targets and KPIs! Will not shop there again!
