I purchased a kenwood cooker for my new kitchen on 22nd Nov 2016!, I paid for delivery, I received a call from delivery saying item was ready for delivery,I was not ready to fit cooker at time of purchase I was told I could put delivery on hold unit I'll I was ready. I went ahead an designed new kitchen fit out to incorporate oven dimensions, I received a call in Dec from currys saying they were waiting for my oven to come into stock and I would be notified when it was in, I tried explaining that I was told my oven was already in stock and was ready for delivery. Customer service could not offer any eplaination. On January 6th having bought my new kitchen I received a call from currys saying that the oven is out of stock and they won't be getting any more in and offered me a refund, I was horrified after 2 months I have a new kitchen and i cannot get oven to fit dimensions. I was not told what happend my oven or where it went too, a refund is of little use to me, customer service is non existent I asked to speak to a manager in the shop I was refused this, I was given an email for customer service and when I wrote to them the email was simply returned to the store where I received a message telling me I was wasting my time writing to customer service as all emails were being sent back to store and they could do nothing for me. I explained in store that I wanted the oven I had purchased or if this was not available I wanted an oven with the same dimesnsions as original. I was told by staff that there was another oven in store that had dimensions I was looking for but it cost 250e more. I can't afford this. I a so upset with currys I have written numerous times, it is now March and I have heard nothing back, I have No option at this point but to seek legal advice, I entered a contract with currys which the broke, Please for your own sake stay away from this company it is the worst I have ever come across, very disappointed as I had also bought a washing machine, dryer dishwasher weeks before, unless they resolve this issue I will never step foot in it again. Horrific experience.

Me and my wife were buying a laptop for her son Blackpool Curry's Squares Gate 08/03/17 . The sales men 19 Lee was very rude to me and did not explain any thing about the laptop Lenovo 110 +Office 365. He was trying to Hard sell us a Care plan. My wife was paying for the laptop on her Debit card. Although it was from us both joint present. When I said no to the care plan the sales man said who is paying for this laptop to imply I had no say in the matter !.. How rude was that to say that to me..!

Ordered a washing machine, when it had been delivered I opened and discovered drum was full of thick oil substance, phoned manufacture whom gave me a code for immediate replacement. I phoned currys to be told couldn't do anything about it that day as they hadn't received paperwork back to say machine had been delivered and had to wait until the end of shift. When I phoned back was told machine was out of stock and couldn't tell me when would be back in stock. After numberus phone calls managed to get them to send another machine of lower grade than had purchased which took 6 days to get delivered even though was in stock and as had ordered online I wasn't allowed to collect from a store. I was left without a washing machine and use of my kitchen sink for a week. I am still waiting on customer care answering my email from 12th January we are now into march. I will never use them again as customer care department worst I have ever dealt with. My parents are now having the same issue with a faulty iron that cost £200 took back to shop and staff were rude and unhelpfulin the Kirkcaldy store and wouldn't help as the iron was purchased 8 weeks ago told to go to customer care but not to phone as seemingly you can't get through so email, surprise after a week they are still waiting on a response....avoid buying from this company

Well, I wish I could have ticked a no star option! I am really angry and frustrated at the customer service received by Curry's! If you are thinking about buying from Curry's..DON'T!!! I ordered a Fridge and Washing machine from Curry's in the sale for my new build house. Due to the post code not coming up we put down my mums address and were told that we would be able to change the postcode...Prior to moving in I called to change my postcode and was told this was not possible.(So why did you say before it was!!). After a long conversation they told me to go into store and if store called head office they will be able to change the address. So I went into store and the lady behind the counter called head office and changed our address and delivery date was confirmed for 25 February. A few days before delivery I called to confirm that all was okay for our scheduled delivery date only to be told that our address had not changed!! What (we were lied to again!!) so I put a complaint on facebook and got a response straight away. The agent in facebook chat confirmed that this was dealt with incorrectly and got our address changed. Here is me thinking this was the last of it!!!! Come Delivery Day the delivery driver calls us as he is lost...only to find out that he was near my mums address and refused to travel 3 miles down the road to deliver my items. The driver promised me that he would deliver them tomorrow and would text in the morning to confirm timings! (He lied again!!!!) We rang head office only to be told that our order had been cancelled!!! We weren't even told...this is ridiculous! My husband called and put in a complaint and spoke to the manager who said she was get this resolved asap and keep us updated. keep us updated my a***! Curry's don't know the meaning of customer service! It is not 02 March and we are still without a fridge and washing machine in my new house!!!!! This company is totally Ridiculous!

You advertise a next day delivery yet the order did not arrive, no phone call or e mail to notify , half an hour wait in store to find out what is going wrong, no explanation - one person on customer service - rest of team strutting around store with their keys ignoring customers, waited half an hour to find out what was going on, eventually interpreted customer service assistant who promised to phone when he understood what was going on - no phone call - awful service

After much deliberating we finally decided which tv would meet our needs, a 55inch Samsung at just under £800. Travelled 30 miles to Braehead store to collect after checking availability on line. Explained to the first assistant which tv we wanted and that we would like to take away today, we were immediately directed to another TV which would have been £250 more, stuck to our earlier decision and were assigned another assistant to check stock, fortunately there was one left, however an interrogation began about the suitability of our existing hdmi cables and how we may need to upgrade for 4K definition, it appeared that we could not complete our purchase without confirming how old our cables were, unbelievable. Choice is now a slightly lower spec from Argos or same set with included 5 year guarantee from JL. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered a washing machine. I was told I would receive an email confirming the date of the delivery. Five days later I phoned them, they told me the washing machine was out of stock and I would have to wait for it to be back in stock. They told me they could give me the same machine in a different colour and next day delivery. They told me they would phone me back. They didn't! I phoned them the next day, I was on the phone for another hour and 30 minutes. I was transferred to 4 different people. Eventually they told me I could have the machine delivered the next day but I just needed to speak to the other department to cancel the extended warranty. I phone the other department and canceled the warranty and was put though the other other department again! They told me that they didnt have any washing machines in stock and I would have to wait until it was in stock. Within one and 15 minutes I had gone around in a circle and was back where I started. They told me they would phone me back?!?!?!?! All I wanted was the washing machine I ordered, NEVER AGAIN! Wasting my time!

I can honestly say that this service for delivery of my items is the worst I have ever come across! I am now on my 4th attempt for delivery of my kitchen appliances. 1st attempt called to state that they had damaged my Items (already 30 mins past my given delivery time) as they had not loaded the van correctly, 2nd attempt they stated would be with us from 4-7 actually that should have been 3.15 to 7.30pm come 8.10pm no delivery no call. We called and they were late 8.30 still no delivery, 3rd attempt delivery of some items but others missing. Another call to customer service can deliver next day - time will tell! I really wish I had never used them. Horrendous service, poor communication and a very stressful situation please everyone not matter how cheap they claim they are to buy pay the extra and save yourself a lot of stress and upset. I will never ever order anything from them again.

The communication from Currys is abysmal, there customer service non existent, and it's, quote, "not my fault" is there standard response. This is the 3rd messed up delivery from Curry's in 2 months, other suppliers have not gotten it wrong, so why do Currys manage it so often? And, based on reviews, when others do, they take ownership & deal with it, Currys don't. My advice, go elsewhere unless its a phenomenal deal, which it rarely is...! What happened - We arranged delivery for Monday, got a call from driver saying it was on the wrong van, but he would sort and ensure I received still on the Monday. No one called and so I called them, held for 35minutes only to be cut off. Called back & asked for a manager, "can't do that until you raise a complaint officially", so I raised a complaint and asked that a manager call me back same evening so this could get sorted, quote "managers don't talk to customers..."!. Following day they automatically rescheduled delivery, STILL no show, called again, no record of previous call OR case reference complaint. Asked for redelivery on the Wednesday, "can't get back until Friday...", followed by, oh, wait, its out of stock now & will be 10 to 21 days". At which point we got cut-off, guess what, no call back.

"know how" anything happens I claimed from a policy which I had held for 3 years. When I took the device in to the store the assistant told me that I would get a letter telling me that the device was not covered, but I needed to write and challenge it. The letter I received said I had been neglectful and misused the machine. I wrote pointing out that three years of paying a policy shows I was not neglecting it and that I had dropped a portable device which was not misuse. They paid out. When I went into the store to get my replacement the staff said that 'know how' hope that most people won't bother writing. What a rip off.

Bought a microwave for cash 10 months ago. lost reciept, last night it blew up and almost started a fire in the kitchen. Took it back to store today (Hanworth - Manager is Hitesh) and explained only 10 months old but they always take my name and address details when I buy something and as only 10 months old and obviously a Currys product, thought it would be no problem to get a replacement. firstly tried to tell me to call customer services as I had no receipt. Asked what customer services could do for me and they said nothing without a receipt. So why tell me to call customer services then, other than to get me out of the store? I said they took my details when I purchased it and they said they didnt for low value items (it was £40). The assistant checked the computer whilst checking his text messages (how blinking rude is that???) They did however have my purchase of £23 for ink cartridges, so that doesnt stack up. I asked for the manager who gave every spurious excuse imaginable. Saying I could have stolen it in a burglary and now trying to get a refund - why would I steal a broken microwave? I could have bought 1000 of them and sold them on, so the person I sold them to wouldnt be entitiled to a refund as they didnt have the receipt? I said so If I had bought it as a gift (it was a gift for my girlfriend) and it broke after a month, then the warranty is invalid? I said I knew the serial number was recorded at sale (as had a vacuum breakdown and they checked the serial number) so they could check that and he said they didnt record the serial numbers at sale. I said so why are they on the product and on the box? He said it was for the customers convenience. Really? Frankly, I have been given the biggest load of old rubbish for excuses on what was clearly a currys product that under the sale of goods act was guaranteed for 3 years and even longer under EU regulations. I swore previously I would never buy from Currys again but as a spur of the moment purchase, I needed it quickly. Having previously spent in excess of £2000 in the last 4 years with them, I will never use them again and deter anyone from buying there too. The worst customer service I have ever received and for the sake of a £40 microwave (probably costs them £20) I aim to do their business a great deal of harm and that it costs them a lot of lost revenue. I hope the internet shuts them down and the idiot staff have to get another job.

We bought a gas cooker and only after it had been installed did were we told that it didn't come with a grill handle. I now have had to order one which will take 2-3 weeks to be delivered and then on top of that I am going to have to pay for it as well. I feel a visit to the small claims court coming on !!

If there was a zero star rating I would definitely give 0. I ordered a camera for my best friends 21St birthday. Firstly the prices changed after like 5 days (no it was not a sale). When I did eventually guy it, I ordered it 8 days before the event. Received a confirmation email to say delivery by 10 February. I didn't receive any dispatch emails or any further notice about my order. And surprise surprise, my order did not arrive, not even the day after. I called customer service, and they are probably the least enthusiastic and least helpful people I've ever spoken to. They did not even apologise about the delay when I first told then the problem. No reimbursement was offered even though I was clearly not happy. Then after being placed on hold I decided to cancel my order altogether and order from Argos that has guaranteed fast delivery rather than waiting another 5 days for my original order that was placed two weeks ago. Are you delivering from China or something? Why does it take so long?

Going into a Currys these days is just a waste of time. Ive been in two recently Hanley festival park and Longton both were staffed by people who obviously didnt know or care about their jobs as despite being within a few metres noone at either site could be bothered to even say hello let alone can I help ? Wont bother going in again, theres a supermarket more or less next to both outlets, both sell TVs, computers, kettles, tablets, etc. Currys will disapear and cant think many will miss it
