The most horrible experience I ever had. I bought the washing machine there. When it was delivered, the guy could not unplug our old washing machine, and claimed we needed a plumber. It turned out there was nothing to be done there, as they just needed to pull the pipe a bit stronger. I paid the fortune to plumber for nothing. On the following day the currys came to finally install the new washing machine, with one "small" issue - they forgot to load it in the truck!!! So, I wasted 2 days staying at home and waiting for their deliver for nothing. They called me later that day, saying they didn't have my washing machine anymore (how is that even possible???), and (!) they didn't have them in stock anymore! assuring me it will be sorted in 2 days and they would call back. Needless to say, it never happened. After getting through their customer service 2 days later, I was blamed for not accepting the washing machine in the first place, and suggested another machine (which turned out to be worse, but for the same price I paid, with only "slight" difference - mine was with £100 discount when I was buying it). And they still told me I needed to wait 48 hours to get the confirmation on the exchange! When I demanded to talk to the manager, I was told they do not see what is the issue, how the manager could help, and they do not think it's needed an escalation!

Unacceptable failing on delivery. They do not deliver essential items when booked and paid for. They do not reply to customer messages and their know how system is a joke - 10 minutes to speak to a human being and then on hold for a further 10. Shop elsewhere!

We bought a new oven from currys and were pressured to use knowhow as the installers. We paid £100 for this. The knowhow installer used no protective floor or unit covers, and as a result he damaged our brand new kitchen units during the installation. He also left muddy footprints throughout the hall and kitchen, and left assorted debris in the kitchen and across the drive – even though we had paid extra for them to remove all debris. When I complained to currys they said it was not their problem as knowhow are a different company, and passed me to their customer care team. Currys then ignored all contact from me. The knowhow team were useless and treated me like the damage was my fault. It took ages for them to initially respond, and months of me chasing to get to a resolution. Knowhow took no responsibility and did not help at all. It was up to me to find and then contact companies to repair and replace, and send these to knowhow. They even had the gall to inform me the quotes were in the wrong format! I had to constantly fight in order for our kitchen to be restored to its former condition. And received nothing from knowhow with regard to the mess and the debris. And they would not reimburse the installation costs. A shocking way to treat a former customer. Problems happen, but it’s how they are dealt with that shows what kind of company they are – knowhow have absolutely no interest in customers or their property, and have no follow up when there are problems. There are many other companies providing the same service. Use knowhow at your peril.

Currys AEG L6FBG842R wrongly advertised washing machine I purchased a AEG L6FBG842R 1600 spin as advertised off there web site. I later found out after contacting AEG direct it was a 1400 spin! Curry's have known this for over 6 weeks now as I rang saying you have sold me an inaccurate item as of your advertisement states and still states it's a 1600 spin! They refused to exchange to the same AEG 1600 spin washing machine Which I thought I had purchased in the first instance. They still haven't changed the description causing other vulnerable customers to buy this incorrect item. I personally won't be buying from currys again..

I tried to buy a high-end washing machine from Currys PC World recently and made all my payments etc. through a combination of their web-site and call-centre. Once the deal was done I went to the trouble of unhooking my broken washing machine and dragging out of the laundry room for recycling. Then at the last minute I receive email from Currys PC World telling me that the order has been cancelled. NO explanation at all! I call them up and talk to their customer service people. They tell me that I have some sort of security issue. Of course, I have no idea what this means since I am someone with faultless credit, no criminal record as well as being a long-standing customer of Currys PC World. I go up 2 levels of management asking why I am a security threat and they all tell me that Currys PC World will not give any reason. Their telephone staff were rude, impatient and obstinate. I have looked at the organisation’s finances and share price (parent company: Dixons) - it is doing very poorly as of April 2017. I am not surprised by this with such poor administration, inadequate due diligence and pathetic customer service. My recommendation is to avoid doing business with this organisation altogether. In the end, I got a much better deal anyway at ARGOS:-)

Terrible customer service, bought a freestanding cooker that had faulty main over door, when to curry ( staple corner London) for exchange to find a women that has no experience on dealing with customers, she was roud to me and refused to service me, I had to ask to speak with her manager, he came but he was afraid of her and took me to another till to sort the cooker problem with no apology.

Ordered a cooker, given a delivery date, got a phonecall that morning to say they couldn't deliver as they had none in stock! Wound be the next week now. Contacted complaints department where we were basically told that we shouldn't have expected it then as They state it could take a week - 10 days or whatever....hello, you actually GAVE me the date! Kitchen dismanteled fitter on hold, we cancelled the order and spent hours trying to find another source, who guaranteed deliver next day....and was cheaper. A couple of hours later we got a phone call to say that Curry's were going to deliver the original no existant cooker in 10 mins! Utter incompetence! So far now, over the last few years I have ordered 2 cookers and a dishwasher and had problems with them all. In an excess of good will, they gave us £20......for all that inconvenience. My brother has also just had a failed delivery due to "wrong address and phone number.." from someone who knows exactly what he is doing and regularly orders on line! Do not use Currys, there are more reliable companies out ther

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I ordered a washing machine that arrived damaged. No problem, I thought...these things happen, I'll phone Currys and organise a replacement. Currys REFUSED to replace the item unless I called the manufacturer to report the fault. I think not Currys. YOU supplied me with a faulty item so YOU replace it. The stubbornness and rudeness of the customer support adviser beggared belief. Currys, you have lost a customer for life.

absolutely lost the plot over customer service wasted about 20 minutes backwards and forwards on the most stupid and time wasting telephone line. why cant I call the store direct - I bought the darned thing from this store ... yet I cannot call to get an update .. only because the lazy people did not call me .. get a real look at yourselves and get your customer service improved. Now I have to drive all the way in to the store to get an update and I am sure I will waste even more of my time with these idiots. you are losing the game unless you get the service support end improved -- try inviting some people onto your customer care lines instead of these stoooopid long auto call machines.

Unbelievable!! Spent 3 hours in currys, got a parking ticket. All parking signs branded with currys brand. Currys response - after getting a 'care call' because I wrote to the CEO asking for comments - privately run car park, nothing to do with us and we don't care if it was because you are our customer. We are not even going to try and ask for a future agreement with the car park not to charge our proven customers. So people, they don't just not care about me as a customer - they don't care about you either.

Dreadful customer service instantly on defence really they should tell their staff not to sound so much like they are reading a script! Did not want to know about damage to cooker and kept saying we should have checked cooker on delivery within time frame which we did as much as we could. I appreciate they had not received an uplift number from manufacturer but nevertheless they have a negative attitude. Only when kitchen fitter took of the two polystyrene strips at the side was damage seen. Phoned manufacturer customer service on the day damage seen who the next day sent an engineer to check damage we received a report the following day confirming damage in transit and recommending in print for a replacement cooker . Phoning Currys with said report from engineer the next day but Currys not budging saying we should have reported damage within the time frame. Curry's still did not want to know lets be careful here Currys not saying we had damaged but intimating we could have damaged the cooker ourselves moving it totally disregarding the cooker manufacturers report. Are you kidding me it weighed a ton. Phoning the manufacturer on the same day working between mobile and land line again and relaid to them what Currys had said and she immediately phoned the engineer in question and got back to us within ten minutes authorising a new cooker. Currys customer service did not seem to grasp we had been liaising with the manuacturer as we were speaking with them. we have spent a lot of money with Currys over the years two big electrical items last year. Thanks a lot Curry's for your caring service. Oh by the way did I not mention the excellent customer service we received and the end result silly me it was BOSCH.

Made the mistake of buying a £2000.00 Samsung fridge/freezer at the beginning of March then returning it 18hrs later after disgusting customer services from Know How/ Currys. Still today they won't cancel my finance agreement with Creation after 40-50 calls to Know How/ Currys, get told by every call handler something different and the people in the store are so rude. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, go to AO much better service and even installed our new fridge for free becausse we had had such an awful experience with Currys!!! Hopefully get this sorted before October when they are expecting me to start making payments on the fridge I don't even have!! Look at other reviews on line for Currys, they are dreadful!!

Spent £1800 in store had a on going problem with a sony Bluetooth home cinema system which is reoccurring. Rang tech people reset system but keeps reoccurring Rang customer services told to take system to local store which is a big ask , a lot of stuff. Work shifts in emergency services took it in to be told guarantee had run out at midnight. Great service not. Glad I don't say that at a fire. Will never buy from again & will encourage everyone who will listen not to either. Terrible customer service. Take the money and run

These guys are charlatans. Do Not Buy From Here. I would give no stars if I could. I've tried to exchange/repair the hob they sent to us (battered in its box), only for them to say it's too late; they can do nothing for us. Well, I don't accept that, as it is within 6 months and it is our right for Currys to replace or repair in the first instance anything 'not fit for purpose' and they refused. It is now our right to claim a full refund, thanks to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The letter to the ombudsman is ready to go and we're seeking support from CAB and the bank. Either way, we spent thousands with Currys and I could have sent our rave reviews to thousands of people over social media. Not any more. Take your money elsewhere, to a company who respects your custom and values your feedback. These guys are charlatans.

Outrageous! Popped in whilst out shopping as I needed a new microwave. I looked at 2 Kenwood models. One bigger than the other. As I had not gone out to buy a microwave I was unsure if the big one would fit. Agreed with the sales assistant to buy the big one and swap it for the smaller one the next day if necessary. The next day I was told that the price has gone up £100 unlucky. According to the manager it is do they can show a big saving in their next sale. A total disgrace that they eill not honour what they agreed the day before.

I ordered a washing machine online advertised next day delivery and installation. That was the reason I choose to buy from currys. Immediately after purchase I recieved emails informing me they would be in touch soon to arrange a delivery date. Considering it was next day delivery, I thought this was odd. I emailed customer services who replied saying the item was not in stock and it could be 10 to 14 days. They then went onto say, I had not ticked the instalation box and I needed to pay £25 to complete the order. Can you believe these morons. It had free installation and delivery on their website and my confirmation email. I complained and they said, I quote, "Please note that we do state that stock errors can occur in our Terms & Conditions that can be found on our website." They refunded my money and said it can take upto 5 days. The point is they failed to fulfil their own obligation as to what they advertised. People choose to purchase based on their misinformation. I wasn't actualy that bothered it would not have come the next day, although 14 days without a washing machine is inconvenient. What bothered me is they made an error and tried to pass that responsibility on to me, the customers. They were only interested in asking me for £25. They did not care less about the customer. When challenged they simply refunded my money rather than rectify their own error. Poor customer service. These people are idiots, do not trade with them, they dont desrve your custom, go elsewhere. They dont care about their customers being inconvenienced. I will never use them again. I reported this to trading standards, weather is does any good, I dint know, but like this post, it made me feel better. Tossers.
