Currys's delivery has to be the worst delivery service in UK. There is no message informing me the delivery time as they promised. The delivery man called 9:15am and said will arrive in 10 to 15 mins, then he called after 10 mins and said he cannot deliver it because the my street is in a main traffic road and his truck is too big to park, He request me to rebook over weekend. My flat is based in a very quiet community area, never got problem with parking as there are plenty of free parking space, neither is it in a main traffic street, as you can hardly see car passing by!!! I asked the delivery man to wait and went downstairs and did not see any truck or delivery Van, he then hang up the phone and refuse to answer again. Apparently, he was not even here and just made an imaginary delivery!!! I waited 3 weeks for this delivery, and now I have to book again? I ordered from other online retailer for refridgrator and other electronically appliance on this address, never got this issue, only advice is avoid Shopping from Currys!!!

I went into the Pontefract branch and paid cash for a fridge freezer , the sales person asked me if I wanted a 3 year extended warranty which I didn't or to have my old fridge freezer re-cycled which again I didn't , but I did want it delivered the next morning and I paid£19.99 for it to be delivered the next morning my wife got up and waited for them to deliver our item when I got home from work at dinner time it hadn't been delivered and they hadn't phoned to say they were on their way I tracked our item and it said we could expect our item between 1505 and 1905 , I rang customer services to see if they could do anything but "unfortunately all they could do was apologise" I explained that the reason it was booked in the morning was because my mother in law was in Hospital and very poorly and we had to go visit her they said they could arrange for a different day to deliver our fridge but why would I pay for it delivered the next day then arrange for it to be delivered on another time I feel the salesperson misled us and once he had got our money he was not bothered about customer service I will never purchase anything else from this company again.

Went into Curry's store Winchester on Sunday march 26th to purchase a cooker, found the ideal one at a great price.Indesit £329, previously £399.only to be told out of stock.was then told next delivery would be Friday,(5 days time).Asked if we could pay for it now then sort out delivery Friday,Told no,took away with us a print out of the cooker's details clearly showing the price of £329,even asked the sale's assistance if this would be the same price when we return on Friday, and was assured yes, noproblem.suprise surprise, price now gone up to £499.99.when explained to the salesman about the previous week's visit, and promise of £329 price,we were told It's £499.99 take it or leave, and that they would never assure us of a £329 price when we return. As far as i am concerned Curry's staff including the manager are rude, unhelpful, unfriendly and they have accused me of being a liar.My advice to anyone is don't buy from Curry's,no wonder stores are closing, let's hope Winchesters is next!.

Bought my son a 27" pc monitor for his birthday with a scheduled delivery today between 7 - 9pm. when he will be home for delivery. Received a text this morning to tell me delivery will be made between 9.22 and 10.22. am. I tried to tell driver (through online form) that it was supposed to be delivered early evening but it made no difference because he has since sent me a message at 9.35 telling me he tried to deliver and nobody at home and for me to reschedule for another day. I will never buy from Currys again. They have no consideration for their buyers, are deceitful and dishonest. They go along with anything you want in order to get your money and once they have it they discard delivery time slots and do what they like creating disappointment and great inconvenience.

Delivery man was disgusting he called to say I can't find your house, my husband explained where we were, he went on I've had to drive 5 miles to get a signal on my phone I can't come back now , my husband said 5 miles is not far I will go out side and wait he told them to come down the long straight road , that's when he turned nasty towards my husband and said the whole rd is one long straight, he had called at one house but as they didn't know where we were so a normal person would go to another house , not him he used a sat nav and it took him to the other side of our home and if he followed the road or even asked at the houses round there he would of found us no bother. He turned up and my husband said there are not many houses round here why couldn't you just of asked. Words were exchanged and he turned round and refused to take it off the van, and left. We called currys to say the disgusting way we were spoken too and they were trying to get it delivered a different day Bari g in mind the drivers would only of been about 5 miles down the road. So we had to get a refund.

I wish I read the reviews first, me being lazy has lead to these incompetent people breaking my laptop even more than when I first took it in. I first took my Laptop in with an LCD screen issue 3 weeks ago, ok, so they said it will take around a week, but they had to order the part and this is what took time to get delivered, I was called on the Monday to take money for the new LCD (Twice as much as what he store quoted) and I was told he repair was completed, although the laptop didn't arrive back in store until Saturday, not sure why it took so long to come back to store... Basically don't believe what dates they tell you.. on picking my laptop up I tried to logon and found that half the keys on the keyboard no longer worked, this was not the case when I dropped it off as I created a user for them to use to test during repair (this username had some of the keys in that no longer worked) Proof that it worked when I dropped it off!!! yes!! But, they had to nerve to say that it will be chargeable if the keyboard is found to be broken, WHAT!!! I couldn't believe it... They also were trying to tell me they wanted to restore my OS to try and repair the issue first.. this is for 4 keys on the keyboard not working. IF you can take your repair somewhere other than here I would strongly advise it, they do NOT have a clue..

The customer service is appalling. Received a 10" tablet as gift. Has been back three times for repair. On the third time the service team blames us for a faulty LCD screen. Had now to take up with manufacture via https://complaint.resolver.co.uk/ This operation has reduced their size here in Preston by 50%. This company is far too confident. However, it is on its way out and will soon realise that people will go else where for their products. We are after a new a new range of kitchens utilities from dishwasher to fridge, freezer and washing machine. We would not go near this Company.

I bought an i7 laptop (for speed!) from Currys at the end of November. As this was very slow, kept crashing and freezing I was told to send it for repair through Knowhow. Suspiciously, perhaps, they informed me it was done within 3 days. When I got it back, the repair report claimed that the problem was "many and older versions of windows installed over the top of each other" (only Windows 10 was installed, ONCE), that they had tried to ring me (no such call, even checked missed calls etc.) and that they had checked and laptop worked ok. On top of all these false claims, the laptop showed no improvement at all. I tried to contact them using the online contact form: this does not work (tried using different browsers and computers for this), so I rang them. the operator spoke to "repairs" who claimed the same as earlier. Although she "logged" my complaint the only thing she offered was for me to take back the laptop to the store so that they can look at it again. She also suggested that they should "write down in big capitals exactly what the problem is" and suggested that they (the store staff) were responsible to check the repair was done properly. Could not comment, though, on the discrepancy of the claims on the report. So it looks like the laptop can keep going back and forth, clocking travel miles, without any repair and with them claiming anything they fancy: frustrating, appalling, disgraceful and all that: off to trading standards next...

FRAUD REF: CC00003309412 Knowhow fails to provide records on proven conversation on 08.01.17 at 11:31 am to then claim no damage was reported . On what basis can you say a damage was not reported if you can't even say what the call was about? VB Transport staff deceived by making the damage report on one sheet make me sign there to then only forward the second sheet signed to afterward claim no damage was reported. Failure all the way long which is not more incompetence it is a fraudulent set up to avoid to take responsibility for damage caused . Shame on you!

Purchased a fridge freezer at £530 and arranged delivery for Tuesday ( know how contacted me and stated it will be delivered between 4 and 8pm) So 8pm and no delivery and after talking to a computer for 15 mins I'm told that the item was damaged in the depot and they couldn't deliver for this reason. No contact whatsoever to explain this : please note the wagons are loaded in the morning AM . This company takes no responsibility for thier utter lack of professionalism or customer service. Will never buy from here again and all it would have taken was a message or a phone call. By the way I received no apology when I called either all I got was "well we couldn't deliver it like that could we" . They completely miss the point and I look forward to the day when I see currys on the news for the same reasons as BHS and Woolworths because with completion out thier on the net they will go bust

Tried to buy from Curry's online but had some technical difficulties with their promotion code. Email them to rectify this so perhaps other customers don't have to have this problem. Response was unduly late with a generic answer of call our sales team to purchase. Ok I decided to call and make the purchase (As the online problem has not be corrected still) then to be past around from South Africa (The lady said she need to check something and instead just reconnected my call to customer service team who in fact couldn't take sales call and then redirected to Sheffield where a rather rude telesales rep proceed to give me attitude when I queried their delivery option. I'm about to purchase a item over £1300 some manners wouldn't go a miss. I obviously did not make the purchase and said I'll go elsewhere and so my call end with the rep tell me 'Well, if you can find a better deal then go buy from them.' If this is how you oversee your first line sales rep, you should get better managers and re-train your objectionable sales team in Sheffield.

They get one star only because there isn't a no star category! Bought a cooker almost three weeks which was due for delivery two weeks ago. tracked it on the Know How website which showed no progress. Finally was able to speak to someone - another dreadful aspect of this company's operation - who advised me that they had no idea when or if the cooker we had ordered might be delivered to them and advized me to ask for a refund and start again as the product was probably out of production! I went to the store to look for a replacement - they wanted to charge me £200 more for a replacement item. Manager wouldn't budge on price and offered the standard £30 reduction - exactly the same as any 'first time' customer coming in to the store for the first time. Suggested what he mighty do with his offer, but suspect that he couldn't find it with both hands and said I'd spend my £700 elsewhere. Throughout the last three weeks there was no communication from Currys - they claim that it was Knowhow's responsibility to contact me - I pointed out that they are the same company working in the same building. What is most annoying is the obsequious and fawning demeanor of the sales staff when they think that you are purchasing something and the stand-offish, matter-of-fact, couldn't care less attitude when something is amiss. Disappointing, pathetic and entirely indicative of national companies who feel that they can behave as they wish. I shall buy locally from my small, independent and long-established family businesses who have a much stronger idea of customer service, responsibility and what is fair.

I purchased a kenwood cooker for my new kitchen on 22nd Nov 2016!, I paid for delivery, I received a call from delivery saying item was ready for delivery,I was not ready to fit cooker at time of purchase I was told I could put delivery on hold unit I'll I was ready. I went ahead an designed new kitchen fit out to incorporate oven dimensions, I received a call in Dec from currys saying they were waiting for my oven to come into stock and I would be notified when it was in, I tried explaining that I was told my oven was already in stock and was ready for delivery. Customer service could not offer any eplaination. On January 6th having bought my new kitchen I received a call from currys saying that the oven is out of stock and they won't be getting any more in and offered me a refund, I was horrified after 2 months I have a new kitchen and i cannot get oven to fit dimensions. I was not told what happend my oven or where it went too, a refund is of little use to me, customer service is non existent I asked to speak to a manager in the shop I was refused this, I was given an email for customer service and when I wrote to them the email was simply returned to the store where I received a message telling me I was wasting my time writing to customer service as all emails were being sent back to store and they could do nothing for me. I explained in store that I wanted the oven I had purchased or if this was not available I wanted an oven with the same dimesnsions as original. I was told by staff that there was another oven in store that had dimensions I was looking for but it cost 250e more. I can't afford this. I a so upset with currys I have written numerous times, it is now March and I have heard nothing back, I have No option at this point but to seek legal advice, I entered a contract with currys which the broke, Please for your own sake stay away from this company it is the worst I have ever come across, very disappointed as I had also bought a washing machine, dryer dishwasher weeks before, unless they resolve this issue I will never step foot in it again. Horrific experience.

When I said no to the care plan the sales man said who is paying for this laptop to imply I had no say in the matter !.. How rude was that to say that to me..!

Ordered a washing machine, when it had been delivered I opened and discovered drum was full of thick oil substance, phoned manufacture whom gave me a code for immediate replacement. I phoned currys to be told couldn't do anything about it that day as they hadn't received paperwork back to say machine had been delivered and had to wait until the end of shift. When I phoned back was told machine was out of stock and couldn't tell me when would be back in stock. After numberus phone calls managed to get them to send another machine of lower grade than had purchased which took 6 days to get delivered even though was in stock and as had ordered online I wasn't allowed to collect from a store. I was left without a washing machine and use of my kitchen sink for a week. I am still waiting on customer care answering my email from 12th January we are now into march. I will never use them again as customer care department worst I have ever dealt with. My parents are now having the same issue with a faulty iron that cost £200 took back to shop and staff were rude and unhelpfulin the Kirkcaldy store and wouldn't help as the iron was purchased 8 weeks ago told to go to customer care but not to phone as seemingly you can't get through so email, surprise after a week they are still waiting on a response....avoid buying from this company

Well, I wish I could have ticked a no star option! I am really angry and frustrated at the customer service received by Curry's! If you are thinking about buying from Curry's..DON'T!!! I ordered a Fridge and Washing machine from Curry's in the sale for my new build house. Due to the post code not coming up we put down my mums address and were told that we would be able to change the postcode...Prior to moving in I called to change my postcode and was told this was not possible.(So why did you say before it was!!). After a long conversation they told me to go into store and if store called head office they will be able to change the address. So I went into store and the lady behind the counter called head office and changed our address and delivery date was confirmed for 25 February. A few days before delivery I called to confirm that all was okay for our scheduled delivery date only to be told that our address had not changed!! What (we were lied to again!!) so I put a complaint on facebook and got a response straight away. The agent in facebook chat confirmed that this was dealt with incorrectly and got our address changed. Here is me thinking this was the last of it!!!! Come Delivery Day the delivery driver calls us as he is lost...only to find out that he was near my mums address and refused to travel 3 miles down the road to deliver my items. The driver promised me that he would deliver them tomorrow and would text in the morning to confirm timings! (He lied again!!!!) We rang head office only to be told that our order had been cancelled!!! We weren't even told...this is ridiculous! My husband called and put in a complaint and spoke to the manager who said she was get this resolved asap and keep us updated. keep us updated my a***! Curry's don't know the meaning of customer service! It is not 02 March and we are still without a fridge and washing machine in my new house!!!!! This company is totally Ridiculous!

You advertise a next day delivery yet the order did not arrive, no phone call or e mail to notify , half an hour wait in store to find out what is going wrong, no explanation - one person on customer service - rest of team strutting around store with their keys ignoring customers, waited half an hour to find out what was going on, eventually interpreted customer service assistant who promised to phone when he understood what was going on - no phone call - awful service

After much deliberating we finally decided which tv would meet our needs, a 55inch Samsung at just under £800. Travelled 30 miles to Braehead store to collect after checking availability on line. Explained to the first assistant which tv we wanted and that we would like to take away today, we were immediately directed to another TV which would have been £250 more, stuck to our earlier decision and were assigned another assistant to check stock, fortunately there was one left, however an interrogation began about the suitability of our existing hdmi cables and how we may need to upgrade for 4K definition, it appeared that we could not complete our purchase without confirming how old our cables were, unbelievable. Choice is now a slightly lower spec from Argos or same set with included 5 year guarantee from JL. Extremely disappointed.
