A terrific waste of time – supplied them my hard drive for data recovery late December and come the end of January it's barely arrived at the repair centre because of the staff's incompetence in following the procedures correctly. The staff (bath road store) are more interested in avoiding customers and genuinely do not care about their jobs. This is not the first time Currys customer service has let them down – do not give them the benefit of the doubt.

Bought a £400 hoover washing machine from Curry's Swansea and it's packed up after just over 12 months, bloody rubbish, talk about the environment you expect white goods to last longer than 12 months , on top of that you can't get hold of the buggars by phone poor service and poor quality.

Ordered washing machine with plumbing service and taking away old one. It was paid for everything in advance. Then I have been told by two young men that they can not do it because they were unable to turn off the main water supply. So they did nothing saying that I need a plumber and left me with old washing machine and new one in the middle of the kitchen. 😬 Appailing customer service and totally unprofessional.

Customer service is appalling. Been lied to by 3 different people, refused to put me through to a manager and just stopped replying!

Bought an Xbox series x an Elite series 2 controller in a bungle, the controllers thumb stick broke so contacted curry’s hoping to get it exchanged only to be told the whole bundle has to go back. They arranged collection from nearest dpd pick up point,Dpd didn’t collect it on the day they were supposed to so got back in contact with curry’s online who hung up on me on two separate occasions to void dealing with the problem. Very poor customer service from curry’s, doesn’t help having foreign call centres!

We purchased an AEG induction hob , just over a month after fitting it started tripping the RCD on our consumer unit. Eventually, after many failed phone calls got through to the repair service and an engineer called, ordered a part which was fitted a few days later. Two weeks ago the same thing happened, turn it on, blows the RCD, whole house without power. we are still waiting to get someone to visit. Numerous calls, emails, chats. Curry's have subbed it to third party and couldn't give a ****! I am about to go down the Small Claims Court route because I am getting nowhere. Useless after sales, they don't know what Customer Service means. Never again.

My experience with Currys had been terrible on a few occasions. Substandard products backed by terrible customer service. I've decided going forward I will no longer give them any custom. I was pushed pillar to post for a price match which I eventually proved was genuine. And then had a printer breakdown in less that a year with maybe having been used only 30prints or so. The replacement again I had to followup 7 times on calls and multiple tim s on webchat only to be promised it would be resolved by each agent to no end. You've lost a customer Curry's well done

What a shambolic company. The customer service is the worst I have experienced, the loop of the call centre is horrendous, from the time of having to report a repair, to them writing off the washing machine has been nothing but error and problem. 37 phone calls (The power of smart phones) and 04 days later, I have been advised that they will be in touch. Live chat - not available even to purchase Email - still awaiting response

I received a damaged phone from currys and arranged for an exchange. They delivered the same damaged item to my address. When I spoke to the advisor over the phone they said they could arrange a pickup next week, so I was without a phone for a week. I am disappointed I have paid so much money for an item. I wish I had just ordered from Giffgaff.

Ordered a Apple Watch 7 for Christmas present which was delivered on 22nd December, however I received a IPad Pro. As I'm a honest person I called Currys to point out there mistake and it was picked up 24th December and told I'd get my Apple watch within 48hrs of returning the Ipad Pro. Called Currys 6th January as I'd heard nothing, told they would create a ticket to see what had happend, now 11th January and still not heard anything.... worst service ever!!!! I'll stick to Amazon from now on.

Very poor customer service. Went to pick up my TV to be told by the Manager that the item hadn’t arrived even though I had been sent a email that it had arrived. I tried to contact Customer Services only to reach a recorded message that told me go online to get help. I couldn’t leave a message as the message cut off abruptly. I contacted Curry’s online and was told that the TV had arrived at the Store. I asked them to check as I had visited the store and was told it wasn’t there. They checked and told me they would confirm by email and immediately got the email. I went back to the Store and went to the Manager and he was shocked to see this email but he said he would check but he was sure that tge TV hadn’t arrived. He sent someone to check this out and a couple of minutes later they came back to say it definitely hadn’t arrived. The Manager was raging and said that customer service didn’t know what they were talking about and where talking rubbish and that he was at the front of the shop to say that none of the orders had arrived. He apologised and told me to complain to customer services. I went back home and checked with the courier only to find that it had not been delivered and was still on route but couldn’t tell me where it was. I went back online and asked could I make a formal complaint and they said that they would take note of the complaint but I could get any reference of the complaint and who tge complaint would go too. They refused to give me any details of where the complaint was going too or how to contact them about it. I just couldn’t believe what they were saying. Two weeks later I am still waiting to hear from them about the complaint and I have no way of contacting them. I got the TV but I was not at all pleased with their customer service and certainly wouldn’t recommend them. They did offer me £20 compensation but I refused that as I felt that they should deal with my complaint not just throw money at it. I would say avoid like the plague unless you want to deal with lies and hassle

We ordered an oven with Curry’s and were given a delivery date on the phone in 3 weeks time (10th Nov). We had heard nothing from them the morning we were expecting delivery and contacted them on web chat to be told that the delivery date was not today but a week later. The only reason we were given was that it may not have been in stock but we had picked this oven as we knew that there were plenty in stock. We still suspect that they just hadn’t booked our delivery on the system. We also had an online delivery that day arrive of lots of food we now couldn’t cook. This is when our terrible and farcical experience with Curry’s began. The man on web chat didn’t have the tools to help and he said that someone would phone us back in 24/48 hours. We also phoned Curry’s customer services. Again the lady did not have the tools to help and said that someone would phone us back in 24/48 hours. Nobody called us back. We raised a customer complaint number (CC000451359) on 21st Nov with the web chat and were again told that someone would phone us back, this time in 7 to 14 days. Nearly 2 months later we have heard nothing back from Curry’s. We are now more annoyed with the customer services just ignoring us than with the oven being late. We considered writing to them to tell them about our dreadful experience again but didn’t think Curry’s was even worth the cost of a second class stamp. I would never buy from Curry’s again and would recommend that anyone else avoids them. In future I shall buy from somewhere that values customers rather than just ignores them.

I initially paid £5 for next day delivery on the 20th Nov 2021 for a microwave that was delivered in a damaged state. I had it returned soon after due to this dissatisfaction and poor handling and asked for it to be replaced. I initially waited 2 weeks for a replacement and had to contact customer support many times to find out why my replacement was taking so long to be redelivered. They finally told me that there is a supply issue and I will not receive a replacement until another 2 more weeks or so. This was unacceptable so I requested a refund soon after on the 13th of December 2021. Considering it has been 4 weeks since I requested the refund I contacted customer service again today 6/Jan/2022 and they told me that for some damn reason the refund had not been authorised yet and I will have to wait another 3-5 days in order for the payment to be processed! So, not only did I waste £5 on a next day delivery for a damaged item which I abruptly returned I have been having to wait now for 4 weeks just to get a refund and only to find out that it still has not been authorised!! For such a large retailer this is incredibly slow processing time is unacceptable and I am reporting their handling of my issue to the Ombudsman and Trading Standards. I shouldn't have to wait this long to get a refund and I am also the one having to get in contact with their worthless customer support to let them tell me the same thing over and over again with no solution. Curry's has lost a customer for life and they deserve 0 stars and will not be recommended. Such a waste of my time and money and unneeded stress. Will never use their service again.

Wrong delivery date and wrong email given! First of all, we were given the wrong date for delivery so we waited in for nothing. Secondly when I rang up to complain, I was given an email to complain to. However I received a response saying that this email is obsolete!! So why the hell did they give this email when it is no longer in use for crying out loud! Want happy with the service and the lack of communication because of all this. Think next time round I'll go somewhere else for buying appliances.

Bought smart TV two months ago & it never worked properly but thought it was my internet. Upgraded my internet & ran an Ethernet cable from router to TV…and zero improvement. Smart apps unwatchable, and analogue channels now becoming unwatchable as so pixelated. Technician tried remote repair but no improvement. Then passed back & forth between 2 teams who refused to refund me because I’d bought the TV more than 30 days ago. They hung up on me when I pointed out that their refund policy is in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Long time customer of Currys but will never shop with them again.

Was lied to on multiple occasions today. I never recieved any delivery confirmation or tracking details. The first advisor told me yes it would be arriving and was out for delivery. The second said wait 48hrs then a few days. Which one is it?? After this, they told me it would be my job to go to the manufacturer for answers?? I'm sorry, but that is YOUR job. Not mine. Either way, we wasted bank holiday by staying in and have a very unhappy child who used his Xmas money to buy the monitor to play on today. Not mentioning our autistic child who was climbing the walls. I even paid for next day delivery and AFTER paying was not given this service. So, overall. I am absolutely fuming about the last wasted family day we could have had together. And utterly disappointed in all that has gone wrong and all the misguided information we have been given. I was even told I would have a manager call me and that never happened. (wasn't holding my breath) I have screen shots of key pieces of information told to me which wasn't delivered upon. Will we shop here again? Not a chance. Will I recommend to a friend or reletive? Not at all. I have spent hours sorting this out today with so much stress. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Ordered a computer via their site video link. The woman miss-spelt my email address and I never received a receipt, which I needed for my company accounts. I call back on the Video Link, they could not change it. Rang customer service, couldn’t help, passed me through 4 different department all without success. back to customer Service.& hours without success. How hard is it to correct an email address. Asked to speak to a manager, their reply, will take 48 hours. My computer will arrive tomorrow, I will cancel. What good is having the computer with no receipt. If something was wrong,i would have problems getting help. The telephone message is saying 14 days to refund your money if you cancel. AMAZING I will never ever shop at Curry’s again. The are definitely the worst customer caring company to deal with.Cherie
