Utterly abysmal customer service. I have never experienced the total incompetence Currys staff show at every opertunity. I am now stuck with an apparently 4K 65 inch tv that pales in comparison to my previous 1080p plasma for picture quality. I already sent the 1st one back but that experience means I just cannot face calling them back. They are that bad!!! £800 QUID down the drain.. Avoid Currys you will seriously regret your purchase if you ever have to call them.

What a joke this company is. Don’t buy anything from them you are better off using Argos. Amazon or any other shop. Nothing is worse then their customer service. They are lying, breaching GDPR by giving you personal numbers. Manager never call you back. They cancel your order without permission and don’t give you money back. Also after sharing my story with my friends, I have found out that they had a similar experience in the past. One of them where waiting 2months for a replacement of a brand new fridge that was faulty when delivered.

Didn't find the staff helpful- they didn't seem to know their products. Unable to contact the store nor work the product. Wish I had gone elsewhere.

This is the first time that I've ever posted a 1* review online. We bought a gas hob from Currys which, after it was installed, turned out to be leaking gas and dangerous. We had to have the hob isolated until Currys could replace it. Currys then charged us for the second installation. I have tried repeatedly to get help from Customer Service but they simply break promises and do not get in touch with me. This has gone on for a month. Please think twice before buying anything from this company. When I posted the above review I was contacted by a member of the Currys Trustpilot support team. After an exchange of a number of emails I was assured on 10th October that I would receive our refund within 10 days. Over 2 weeks later we have not received anything and my follow up emails have had no response. We really should not be put through this kind of stress by Currys.

A Nightmare of an Experience with Currys I wish I could give Currys a lower rating than one star because they've truly earned it. My recent encounter with this company has been nothing short of a customer service horror story. If you're looking for a company that values your time, respects your requests, and employs qualified professionals, look elsewhere – because you won't find it here. First of all, we had informed the store multiple times that we needed a qualified electrician to install an integral washing machine. Despite our efforts to make this clear, the individual they sent on the initial delivery date (16/10/2023) was far from qualified to handle the job. He had no idea what he was doing and made promises he couldn't keep. He told us that we would have the installation completed by the next day, but that turned out to be a lie. Instead, we received a text later in the evening saying that the delivery was rescheduled for Wednesday between 08:00 and 14:00. We adjusted our plans, rearranged our schedules, and waited patiently, only to be met with empty promises yet again. Wednesday came and went, and there was no sign of Currys or their elusive "qualified professionals." Fed up, I decided to call customer service, hoping for some clarity and resolution. To my dismay, I was met with unhelpful, robotic responses from representatives who seemed more interested in reading from their scripts than genuinely assisting a customer in need. To add insult to injury, they informed me that there was no one available to perform the installation and, you guessed it, rescheduled it again. The final straw was the text message that arrived in the evening, proclaiming, "Great news! Your delivery will be with you on the 27th." I had already informed them of our unavailability during certain dates, but they clearly couldn't care less about their customers' needs. In conclusion, if you want to save yourself from unnecessary stress, frustration, and wasted time, I strongly recommend avoiding Currys at all costs. Their incompetence, poor communication, and disregard for their customers' schedules are astounding. My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Shop elsewhere and spare yourself this ordeal.

Horrible experience and no help from customer service. I ordered a table top dishwasher. It was supposed to arrive up to 5 days. The delivery was supposed to be on Wednesday so I moved it to Saturday to be at home. No delivery, no information was provided. A few days later when checking the tracking it said it is going back to Currys. I wrote to customer service to find out why is that and they said that unfortunately on Saturday the courier damaged the product and they will give me a refund in a priority order (24-48 hours). I wrote them on the fourth day again and they said that the refund was refused and they raised it again and I need to wait up to 14 days! And then they processed it as a return from my side that I was not happy with the order even if I never even received it. The only thing that they said they can do is raise a complaint in my name. No emails received with all this updates. Every time I need to write them to find out what is going on! So I have no dishwasher and no money. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone and definitely don't recommend buying anything from Currys online.

Recently took out a new phone contract (samsung s23 ultra) with the new deal on the website the phone was meant to come with a free gift of galaxy earbuds. The phone arrived when expected but the package was missing the earbuds, I called in relation to this and a very appologetic advisor said she can see they were meant to be added and will arrange for someone to call to arrange delivery of them. A week passes and I hear nothing so call again, this time a male advisor says the same thing and appologised again. Another week passes and i hear nothing so call again, this time to also complain that noone has bothered to call me, I then get told actually head office have looked into it and even though 2 previous advisors said they could see they were with my order and i should have been sent them and were in my basket when i paid, that in fact I'm not entitled to them and they wont be being sent. I asked to speak to a manager, none where available so he said that he would get a manager to call me. Low and behold another week passes and nothing, but which time im outside of the cooling off period for the phone and contract and down on earbuds (£219) so i call again, only to be told no manager available again but get to speak to a supervisor, who was appologetic (rightly) and offered the first month of the contract refunded (£43) not quite the earbuds I was entitled to, and now locked in a contract because they dont get back to customers or fullfil their deals. Absolute con!

Currys are con artists and there customer service goes from bad to abysmal. 3 weeks ago I went to buy a laptop which was discounted by £150. I was made to wait for a customer service person at their Brixton store. When I went and asked where the person was and for some help to buy the product I knew I wanted I was told there was non in store or the warehouse. There was some at the Oxford Street store. I asked to make the purchase there and then so it could be ready for me to pick up the next day. We don't get involved in that you'll have to do that tomorrow. The next day I went to make the purchase only to be told the price had reverted to it's full price and the store couldn't travel back in time to honor yesterday's price and that the Brixton store could have and should have let me make my purchase there!!!I called and complained to the customer services and after 45 minutes they said they'd honor the previous days price,. A conversion took place between the customer service representative, store manager and myself on how to do the refund. I'd purchase the product online for same day collection and pick it up there and then. I'd call customer services back give them the purchase number and they'd implement the refund. When I called back I was told the accounts department would call back within 3 days as they were the only one's to process refunds. No phone call happened. The following week I called to complain that no phone call or refund had happened to be told the systems had been down I was made to wait and told the refund had been authorised by a manager and I'd get a call in 3 days. No call happened. The following week I called again to complain no call no refund and insisted on speaking with a manager. Eventually I spoke with a Amanda a Manager who promised she had authorised the refund and arranged to contact me the next day at 10.30 am it's now 3pm no call. I've escalated this further. I've been told to Wait 48 hours for a call back. This is how con men work when ripping people off. Always full of hollow promises. DON'T SHOP CURRY'S

Paid for installation service by Currys for an integrated fridge freezer. The installation team dropped the high gloss kitchen doors and Currys are not prepared to pay to correct the damage. An offer of £216 - absolute joke! Never use Currys installation service

I’ve been trying to get my care and repair plan money as I had to cancel it after paying it as we are pensioners and are short of money for other bills I rang numerous time keep being fed all different answers telling me I would receive a cheque this has been going on since July 25th 2023 and still no check has arrived . They now are wanting my bank details which I’m reluctant to give as I’ve been fed with so many untruths all I want is my cheque whuch I am entitled too. The service has been diabolical to treat good honest customers like this.

Visited South Ruislip shop to buy laptop / tablet for my daughter who is starting university in September. We visited at 7 pm and the shop closes at 8 pm so still one hour to assist customers. We liked Samsung S9 Ultra tablet with keyboard and pen, which was closed, so asked the tech guy Hamza, who very casually said that it doesn't open, when I asked how to look then, he said ask Manager, probably need to power ON from inside and he walked away. We requested Manager Ashish, how we check this, he initially casually states that Manufacturer dosent allow anyone to see and it cannot be opened but when I mentioned that your colleague said probably power is off from inside, he was reluctant to check but when insisted he gone inside and came back in a minute, stated that the power is ON but he don't know if the tablet can be open for customers to look, then he walked away too. It was clearly evident they staff was not interested in selling or not trained how to assist customers. I have decided to buy from John Lewis even price is higher as atleast there customers serivice before and after sales is excellent.

One of the worst companies to buy from as they just don't care what happens after they have taken your money I purchased a mobile phone off them and paid £1049.99 for it and it occurred a fault in just four week as them to sort it out and was told that they can not do nothing for me also the manager of the store told me that I only had a 14 day I think they need to be told that I have a 30 day I have had to involve trading standards and I have sent a number of letters to head office and guess what no reply do not purchase nothing for Currys save your money

Don't waste your precious time and money- never join care and repair service or deal with Currys - buy from the brand itself. In summary, Support and repair services are useless, unprofessional, never respect the customers and untrusted engineering services. They took my laptop for repair after paying around £200 for 2 years to keep the warranty plan, they claim it was a physical and liquid damage for the charging port without any photos or evidence or even report. I works as a doctor and I really take care of my laptop and what they claim doesn't make any sense for me. Furthermore, The low quality engineering services who dealt with my laptop had brought the laptop in a worse condition than it was! the battery was not recognised and the USB was not working! all the Currys staff including customer services and the claim.investigation have ignored my voice and I had to eventually pick up my laptop and I have to pay extra money for local engineer shop to fix what currys engineering services have done to my laptop rather than fixing the main problem. The local shop found out that the low quality engineering services at Curry's when closing the laptop have forgotten to do the basic engineering thing to plug the battery and the USB cable to the motherboard which they unplugged during checking the laptop, image the poor services, and how could someone trust their judgement or any thing related to them after. I have all the photos and evidence supporting that they brought the laptop in worse condition and I have to pay extra money for fixing that. I have luckily cancelled the care plan and felt relieved. IN SUMMARY, PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY AND TIME DEALING WITH CURRY IN ANYTHING.

Bought a 1300 laptop. Returned it for a swap. Still waiting for delivery. Been 12 days now. I'm going Amazon next time. I thought I'd give my local branch a go. Terrible custom service. Also the phone/web chat is sooo frustrating.

What an absolute disgrace this company is. Bought a fridge freezer. Waited 10 days for delivery and installment. Took.day off. Failed delivery. The delivery cancelled my order.has to.start again. Go back get a refund and reorder but out of stock. Went back another day ordered delivery and installation. Took another day off. Yet another failed delivery as they sent guys who don't install. Went back to store. Manager very rude and refused a refund. I have now been 5 weeks without a working freezer owing to incompetence. They don't have a complaints department and most in the customer service team speak poor English. I have left my details to speak to someone FOURTEEN times. No one has called me back. DO NOT BUY FROM CURRYS. The amount of 1 star reviews say it all
