I returned a faulty item back to you Currys I was told that it would take up to ten days for a refund back to my credit card, on calling today and being on the phone for 45 minutes and being transferred to 5 different departments and then being disconnected I am no further forward, The payment was made by credit card so now im in a position where my credit card is charging me interest on the purchase, I have checked you web site and it says it takes up to 10 days for a refund not 15 to 20 days for a refund Avoid Currys dont have care in the world for there customers

Have used currys for years but I doubt I will again simply because customer service is non existent. Live chat and help was advertised but was not actually available. I spent half an hour chasing round and getting nowhere on the currys website before giving up in frustration. Not good enough from a company as big as currys. Fortunately my delivery arrived a day later than expected, which wasn't an issue at all, but as it was sent untracked I dread to think how I would have received help or support if it had gone missing.

After yet another working week of zero response from curry’s. I’m taking to social media to share my shocking experience with your customer service. I purchased a TV from curry’s online on the Black Friday deals for my 6 year old sons Christmas. Wrapped it and hidden away till the big day. Plugged it in and it was damaged.....these things happen, I thought curry’s is a reputable company and will replace it. Contacted curry’s on the 26th December, was told that their policy is to receive the tv bag at the depot to check it over and then they would issue a new TV to be dispatched.....not ideal but sure, these are difficult times and my 6year old understood that Santa just needed to fix it and it would be back in no time! Arranged dpd collection for the 27th December and was told I would receive a text for when the driver would arrive. Was reassured that regardless of the Black Friday deal price, I would receive a replacement tv whether that be the one I ordered or one of similar spec, which I was happy with. Driver arrived without prewarning and refused collection because I didn’t display a label (at no point either on the phone or via email was I advised to do this) so I had them to call back ‘team know how’ to re arrange collection & find out what label I had to supply. The best date she could offer was the 31st and I had to write an address on a piece of paper and tape it to the box and once again reassured I would receive a replacement tv.....ok no problem! Collected eventually! Received an email on Sunday 10th January at 6:32am to say they had received my tv back at the depot but unfortunately they no longer had my tv in stock. Either pick a tv of the same value or they would issue me a refund within 48 hours.....best bit is you can’t respond via email....has to be via telephone when you sit in a queue for 48minutes and the first person hangs up on you. Eventually get to speak to someone. I decline the offer of a refund and advise that the TV I ordered is showing as still available on the website, just now it’s not at the Black Friday price (even though I was told this wouldn’t be an issue). So was told yup, no problem we’ll get this sorted for you, someone will be in touch.......a few days go by and I have not as much as an email. So I message the online team and log a complaint. Then told that the tv is no longer in stock despite being available online. Ok then I am happy to take any TV of the same size ect and supply several options....some cheaper, some more expensive. Was told yes we can do that, you’ll receive an email to confirm within the next couple of days. Nothing. I then contact trading standards to get some advice. They confirm I am within my rights under the consumer rights act, they open a case for me, draft up an email and send it over.....strange thing is the customer services email account isn’t accepting mail at the moment 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I then contact ‘team know how again’ and inform them of the consumer rights case number....’apologies and someone will be in touch by the end of the week’ Week passes and I call in again, and get through to a department where I am told ‘it’s with the back of house team and has been manually dispatched the alternative TV (which was of lesser value but who cares at this point. My boys bedroom sits empty as he desperately waits for his Christmas present) so someone will be in touch by the end of the week to arrange delivery’ Perfect. Happy again. Another week passes and I get zero response from curry’s...no confirmation email, no text, no nothing. I call again, wait in a queue to once again explain the situation, passed from department to department. Eventually speak to someone again who once again tells me.....it’s been passed to the back of house team and has been manually dispatched.....whatever the hell that means. I politely tell her that at this point, with no disrespect, I don’t believe you and can you send me confirmation of this ‘manual for dispatch’ and actually clarify what that means. Unfortunately she can not 🤔 strange. Once again I leave the call with another empty promise of an email from a manager to confirm by the end of the week. Now I am aware that this is Friday and the week has not yet ended but quite frankly I am completely fed up of the disgusting treatment I have received & would like to pre warn others. Not sure whether I’d call this fraud or theft now 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll contact trancing standards again today and try from this side. Absolutely disgusting. I’m just glad that I have a very forgiving son who forgives Santa for taking OVER A MONTH to send his TV back!

Expensive Samsung Active 2 Watch bought for my Wife as a Christmas Present. Numerous faults all of which are commonly reported on numerous websites. These were not seen before purchase and I believed the glowing recommendations on Currys website of the watch. The watch was bought in advance of Christmas, but was not opened until Christmas Day. Currys are impossible to contact for an item purchased more than 30 days previously, so a Resolver Case has been started. - I informed Currys via Messenger of the Resolver Case, and was told that there is a four week delay in responding to these cases. - Regardless of Covid-19, that is simply unacceptable, particularly for an expensive item!

Currys has lost me as a customer forewer. Buying a new washing machine shouldn't be a stressful and an unpleasant experience, but it was. The delivery and installation/recycling service was absolutely shocking. The delivery guys were beyond belief unprofessional. They came completely unprepared without a face masks or shoe covers for their shoes, and they just walked through my carpet and said, that their shoes are clean, and refused to take their shoes off. The washing machine arrived unpacked without an original packaging, so I was not sure if it was even new. When I asked why it is unpacked the delivery guys just said, that they unpacked it in the van. By Currys Terms and Conditions, I can only return an item bought in original packaging if any issues, but how can I return it if it came without any packaging! Installation was also a disaster. They came without any tools to install the washing machine and asked me if I have a screwdriver to secure the washing machine pipe! I didn't have any screwdriver, as I was expecting them to have it, as I paid for the installation, so the guy just left without properly securing the pipe! They also flooded my kitchen floor when removing the old washing machine, and was overall very rude towards me when I raised my concerns. It was such a horrible experience, that I would never buy from Currys again. Also, when I contacted Currys customer services to complain about the shocking service, they just dropped the phone on two occassions. I would strongly suggest for everyone to stay clear from Currys!!

If there was a zero option I would have chosen that. They mucked my online order up, when I used webchat (which is awful) to correct order (as there is no other way of contacting them) they cancelled the order completely but have still charged me. Trying to get hold of anyone to sort this out is impossible. I have now been charged for products I am not going to receive which must be fraudulent/theft? My advice, don't use their online facilities and stick to Amazon!

Worst customer expereince ever! My laptop stopped working within the 'refund / exchange' period. When I tried to exchange it I found myself dealing with endless calls to custome service, being transferred from one rep. to another. Each one gave me different instructions and different thing, without delivering. The end point was after I was promised a new computer and was told that I'll get a conformation to my email within 24 hours. Of course no confirmation arrived and when I called again nothing was written in their notes and I was back to sqaure one. This happend one time after the other - online representatives that lie and don't deliver and ignoring anything any one else said before. They refused to liseten to recordings of the previous calls or to acknowledge anything they promised. Would recommend anyone who can to stay away.

I've been a customer of Currys PC World most of my life. I would never use them ever again. My first exchange in using them for over 30 years and I have been messed about tremendously. My dryer broke down and is still under warranty. The manufacturer issued a uplift code for a refund. Currys sent me from department to department unwilling to refund initially stating my appliance was out of warranty then they offered 25% refund. I've issued legal proceedings. The most incompetent and inept customer service team. Will never shop here again.

Virtually impossible to contact. I've been trying to change a collection address for a return of a product, simple you might think. Not for Currys! No way of contacting satisfactorily, no returns form to print off, and no where to find the address to return to. Gave in, in the end, found an address, but who knows if it's the correct one or if I'll get my refund. Also had to drive over to my parents address(not a good idea in Covid times), so that the product can be collected from the original address. I am currently trying to find a complaints email to contact, but once again that is proving impossible.

Very very poor experience all round. Price promise - get told from shop live to email 'somewhere', only to be told by other advisors, 'somewhere' doesn't exist (strike 1) Passed back and forth from shop live to customer services like a football! (Strike 2) To add insult to injury, when you pay for selected delivery, they tell you after paying that you can't have it that day, and it will be a day later....and then they decide how you get the refund back!! (Strike 3) and we're out for good. John Lewis here we come.

Took money from my account , order apparently did not go through, now will take up to 5 days to refund money , can't get to speak to anyone it's all online , cannot reorder until I have my money back , need a machine asap as I need to wash my nurse uniforms . Totally disgraceful service.I If I had been able to speak with someone I am sure they could have reorderd it , arranged delivery etc. Won't be using them again. If I hadn't contacted them I would never have known order hadn't gone through although they took my money.

Hi Fi was ordered, the product is faulty. Was on the phone for nearly two hours to Currys customer services who agreed to pick up the faulty product. No one turned up to pick the product up. I shall continue to try and get in touch with Currys customer services, although the average waiting time for someone to answer your call is forty five minutes.

Dishonest Trading One star is way too much but no option for a zero rating. Bought and paid for fridge/freezer online only to find no stock available on delivery day. Promised refund (advised 5-10 day wait) After 5 days Currys emailed to say order being processed even though they cancelled it. Had bought from Argos in the meantime. (Great service by the way - here in 2 days) Another few hours on Currys live chat, original cancellation not done correctly by Currys staff, but still no stock anyway. Cancelled again so now an even longer wait for refund. Taking and holding money for items you do not have available is dishonest and fraudulent trading. PLEASE AVOID CURRYS AT ALL COSTS

Terrible service, ordered and paid for a stand mixer online showing in stock to collect next day. Received email today saying order cancelled with no information why, rang customer service number, after 16 minutes been told non in stock so had to cancel, I went online I can see it still showing in stock at my local Currys store. The refund will now take 7 to 14 days, out of pocket with no product, shop only if you have extra cash or you can wait for a refund. I will not be shopping at Currys in my lifetime.
