Given recent experiences of Currys customer services, this is probably yet another waste of time and energy, but here goes :- Ordered integrated dishwasher beginning of October and given delivery date of Thursday 26th of that month. The evening of 25th October given delivery time of between 7.00am and 11.00am next morning. At 7.10 am received phone call from delivery crew to say they would be with us in 10 minutes, which was true to their word. When they arrived they were very polite and professional and introduced themselves (with handshakes) as Kyle and Neil. After Kyle had disconnected old dishwasher and removed it from our kitchen, Neil brought the new appliance out from the van when he discovered it was NOT an integrated appliance, and that the depot in England had sent the wrong machine. On hearing this, Kyle was very apologetic and contacted his base with the bad news. He was told that the proper appliance would be re-delivered and installed on Saturday 28th October, and we again agreed that an early time of between 7.00am and 11.00am would suit us. All in all not TOO bad so far - such mistakes can easily be made. On the morning of 28th October I arose (as usual) at 6.30am to feed our 3 cats and let them out in the garden before having my own breakfast. At 7.30 am I heard my wife answering her phone upstairs in the bedroom. I assumed this was again the delivery crew so went to the side window I our hallway where I could see down to the end of our street. Almost immediately, an unmarked white back-loader van reversed into the street, stopped very briefly about 50 yards from our driveway and drove off. As the vehicle did not have any of the Currys' logos or markings on it (unlike the first delivery truck on the Thursday), I thought it was not our delivery. However, when my wife came downstairs a few minutes later, she said the phone call she received was from Currys' depot saying that the delivery crew had attended our address and had not received an answer when they knocked on our door. When I told my wife about the white van she was totally dumbstruck and very very angry [ indeed, looking back on it now, it appears the call to my wife had actually come BEFORE the van had even entered the street]. My wife tried to call the depot back, but received an automated reply which, when she entered the delivery code, said the delivery had not been made. Totally unbelievable and unacceptable rubbish ! At 8.00am I personally called customer services and an apologetic Currys staff member looked into the situation and eventually told me that he had sorted things out and that our dishwasher would be definitely delivered and installed at 3.00pm that same day. At 3.15pm, when we had heard nothing more about our delivery, my wife spent 15 minutes getting through to customer services and, after another lengthy call, was assured the crew of the van would phone us just before they arrived. When nothing happened by 5.00pm my wife again tried to call customer services, but was then again met with an automated service which again told her that the 2nd delivery had also failed. Again totally unbelievable and unacceptable as both of us had been at home all afternoon awaiting a phone call or the arrival of a van in our street. This Sunday, 29th Inst., my wife again contacted Currys customer services and was very angry to be told that the second (failed) delivery had been made at 3.45pm on the 28th and again no one was at home. It is beginning to appear that someone along the lines of communication is not being entirely honest, and that perhaps Currys are using the services of sub-contractors who probably still get paid if a delivery/installation is unsuccessful. We have now been informed that our appliance has been sent back to the depot in England and that it will not now be with us until Friday 3rd November. This has now become totally intolerable and if Currys do not come up with a satisfactory resolution to the problem then we will be looking into where we stand legally given the unacceptable circumstances surrounding our purchase from your organisation. As I said at the outset I am probably wasting my time filling in this complaint, so I am not expecting a reasonable outcome, given recent communications with your staff. However, I have awarded you 1 star for the services provided to us by Neil and Kyle. Pity all of your staff are not so respectful and professional.

We ordered a fridge freezer & also paid for collection & disposal of our old one. They gave us a delivery date & time. So waited in all day, emptied our fridge freezer the evening before delivery & got it all ready for collection & moved into the garage. Delivery time came & went no fridge freezer or telephone call about the delay. On checking the delivery tracker out of curiosity, there's a message please contact us there's a query about your order. So I ring them at a charge of 5p a minute, 8 minutes later someone answers. This person checks my delivery ref, no query on there so I'm now on hold again whilst he rings the depot. Turns out they've damaged the fridge freezer at the depot, so there'll not be a delivery as the have to order another one. Which can't be delivered for another week because we only deliver in your area on certain days. So I'm now without a fridge freezer for a week, loads of food now having to be wasted. I've got to take a day off work for the next delivery & they couldn't even be bothered to ring & let us know what had happened even though they had been given two telephone numbers. I'll never be buying from Currys again & I'll be informing friends & family to avoid them. Bunch of cowboys, disgraceful customer service.

Ordered two items on the 11th October, paid for a Sunday delivery which was the first available date. I got a phone call on the delivery date at 07.15 to advise that they couldn't deliver until Tuesday 17th. I then got an e.mail to advise that delivery would be made today between 07.00 and 11.00. I have just called once again and advised that it doesn't look as though it will be here today. They have had payment for 14 days now and still no goods. Certainly wouldn't touch with a barge poll in future.

Spent over £300 in Curry's they then ask for £20 to click and collect in store. This is to ensure that the goods are not delivered before the store opens and then returned to the warehouse. No it's not Curry's it's just a ploy to screw your customers for an extra £20. If every other store can do free click and collect for a £300 order then so can you.

Appalling customer services. Waiting on my third washing machine to be delivered because the other 2 haven't worked on arrival. Told my third washer would be delivered today. Waited in and it hasn't arrived apparently they haven't put the deliver through so won't be receiving a washer today either. I haven't ever dealt with such an incompetent company and won't shop with this company ever again. I will be telling all my friends and family about the appalling customer services

I bought a smart TV and took out the extended guarentee. Having had my smart TV go in for the same repair three times without the problem being resolved I was told on phoning Knowhow that as it was 14 days since the last instance of it being taken in and not resolved I could request a replacement. I took the TV into store and waited for them to contact me about my replacement. Three times now I have had to phone and once I got the store to phone about progress on the repair/replacement and each time I was fobbed off with it being looked at, being on the bench etc. Now under the agreement I have not had a working set for twenty one days and it shows at this present time every indication that it will be another twenty one days. This is without taking into consideration that the set has been faulty with the intermittent wifi dongle removed now for months.I posted this story on Trust Pilot and had a response that they would look into it, but clearly they are not doing so. I do believe that this is the worst service I have ever had from a company, but it seems that there is little I can do about it. Avoid them if you have any alternative and don't believe a word they tell you

I purchased a Fujifilm camera on Friday 13th Oct pm at the Arnold branch, when i got home I checked the item and found that the item was (I assume) a returned camera, as it was in a torn plastic bag, there were scratches to the front lens, the back screen (No protective cover attached) and the front body, the battery was also inserted into the Camera, which it should not have been. I returned the camera the next morning as soon as they opened, although the assistant changed the camera i was made to feel as if it was my fault the camera was not new, very abrupt, rude and not a single apology or thank you for your custom and to top this another customer came in next to me with another item, and when a second customer service agent ask the problem, the customer said he would like a new item that he had paid for, not a second hand returns item, not a very good advert. The customer service staff are certainly in need of additional training, i will not be using Currys again, i will choose to spend my money elsewhere, if i could have given them a quarter star i would have. If I could leave no stars I would. I'd like to make a complaint about the drivers who delivered my washing machine on Friday 13th 2017. We had the washing machine put in a shed in our back garden. My mother directed them to the shed. There is a pathway in our garden we were assuming the drivers would use, the grass had dog dirt on it and unfortunately the drivers stood on this, and the men were upset about this, which is fair enough. The issue is the comments the men made to my mother, one said to the other "This must be our tip". Their attitude was really unacceptable and extremely rude, and has left my mother visibly upset, and it was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. We have a step in our shed where we have the washer and dryer, we asked the lady at the curry store if we could have the delivery men put the machine on this step as my mother and myself could not do this. The men refused to do this because they were not installing the machine, they were more interested in making rude comments. I paid a lot of money for this machine and I don't appreciate having my mother treated like dog dirt. This was completely unacceptable. I called the call centre and spoke to a representative about this, they said they would raise it with the depot, but they really sounded uninterested and I received no apology, although I know it was not the representative that was rude to my mother. I'm honestly not one to make complaints but we've been treated so badly, I highly doubt I will ever buy from currys again. Pamela Bt34 3EE

We waited until the right washing machine could be delivered. It turned out that it was broken on delivery and the guys refused to take away the packaging, which was promised when we placed the order. It took days and days and endless phone calls to finally get the machine collected and then even longer to get a refund and some compensation to pay for launderette fees. Shocking service... We went to AO instead. Got next day delivery and never looked back...

Rubbish company, pathetic customer service. Hi Guys I just thought i would update you on the latest from my ongoing running nightmare with Currys. After posting this as you can see someone from Knowhow contacted me to say that they would help resolve my issue. THEY ACTUALLY TAKE POSTS ON HERE SERIOUSLY ENOUGH TO RESPOND. That's because this is a public forum. Forget trying to deal with Curry's internally you will get nowhere. After hours on the phone and days off work trying to resolve this issue i finally got 'you can have your money back or a replacement'. Great i thought at least i can get what i paid for originally which was brand new TV one that i have been after and researched for ages. The guy on the phone from Currys then informed me that they don't offer that model anymore. Ok i said well i will have the direct replacement that LG have brought out since discontinuing my set. Oh no no no no. It doesn't work like that its same value or money back. I explained that I cannot get a TV of the same standard as the one i purchased and this isn't really compensating me for the loss at all. No compensation for the hours on the phone or the days off to send and receive it. This was just a go run and jump kinda deal. It would be like VW after they where found out in the emissions row saying to their customers we know that we screwed you on the Golf but here is a polo to make up for it. I have tried my best to give Curry's every opportunity to resolve this issue in a reasonable way but as usually if its going cost them 50p or more then forget it. Its the very last thing i will ever buy from this disgrace of a company and i would suggest that anyone reading this and thinking of making a purchase should really think again. I have also had an issue with a fridge i bought form AO and the customer service from them was really refreshing compared to the utter disdain that you receive form Curry's. You live and you learn. I hope that this post really does encourage some people to change their decision to purchase from Curry's it would be good Karma.
