After ordering a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and fridge 2 weeks in advance, curry’s proceeded to deliver the order on the agreed date. After a call from the driver being 30 minutes away he then decided he could not deliver said products and cancelled the delivery without warning or reason. After going back and fourth with this company we agreed a date of Sunday to deliver all the items only to be told on the day they could only deliver the fridge and and dish washer. The only reason this is getting a one star is because I’m unable to give anything worse. Save your money and time and go to a company who can actually organise themselves. Worst customer service i have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs

Purchased £1800 TV showing in stock and paid for designated time slot delivery. TV went out of stock overnight. Two weeks on, the price reduced. Even though we didn’t have the TV delivered yet they would not price match because it was just over the 14 day period. Receipt date is the date you paid and not the date delivered, even when the item goes out of stock after purchase. Tried to deliver on all day slot despite paying extra for a set time slot. Took hours of calls and lies from online chat reps to get this resolved. 6 weeks on the HDMI ports stopped working. Was told an in home priority repair was possible and transferred to the repairs team who told me this wasn’t possible and the last rep had lied. New rep was rude. Online chat person told me we could get exchange despite being outside of 31 day period if I contacted LG myself to get the uplift number. I asked to confirm this was possible on two occasions and they said yes and even passed on the telephone number. Call LG the next day and they say only the retailer can get an uplift number and customers cannot do this. Call Currys back and despite being told all chat conversations are recorded, the chat had disappeared and as a result was told I must’ve been mistaken?! Said I could send screenshots but told all emails have been disabled and the only way to complain formally is in writing. Repairs team said LG do in home repairs so decided to go down this route instead. That evening, the whole TV cut out and would not switch back on. Called LG who said this was a main board failure and to check with Currys if they had any process in place if an item has two major faults within 6 weeks of purchase. Call Currys back and spend two hours explaining the situation back and forth between different depts to be told I should drive to a store to get them to call LG on my behalf. Drove to store and after queuing for 30 minutes was told that I had wasted my time as the rep was incorrect and the store cannot help. Store advised me to get the TV collected for repairs and returned within 7-28 days. No TV in this time and no money to buy a spare as we spent £1800 on this one! Repair guy hadn’t turned up so called support. For the first time was taken to the onshore call centre. Guy was rude and told me that I should just wait and i shouldn’t have taken the morning off to wait for the delivery as the van could’ve crashed and that’s why he was late. I explained we had no TV so went for the soonest option and when a text says ‘we will be with you between 9.20 and 13.20’ I would expect that to be accurate. The guy also told me I had been calling the wrong number?! If I had gone through to the offshore team each time. I quoted the number back to him and was told I must’ve selected the wrong options?! No, I selected the right options throughout. Constantly trying to pass the buck and being rude whilst doing so, despite the week of customer service hell created by Currys! Driver turned up 40 mins late, rude and arguing that we should have removed the stand as they do not remove them. We said we were not told to do this. Proceeds to carry our super thin £1800 65 inch tv out of the house with no packaging with the plug banging against the screen. No van was parked outside and they had parked on the next road!!! Walked like this putting down on concrete to get his grip and then his partner who should have helped him carry it was standing by the van. They then wrapped it on the floor. I called Currys to log another complaint on the file about this so that any damage made would be linked through to this absolute joke of a collection service. The man told me in order to get a response to a complaint (rather than providing internal feedback) I could do this online in the contact us section. Completed contact us form with details only to get a generic response saying they can tell I’ve spoken to someone since completing the form (I hadnt!) and no further action was needed. Avoid this company.

A company who is incompetent, does not respond to customers and missleads customers. I will not buy from this company again. See below for details I purchased a SMEG integrated dishwasher from Currys on the 9th July. We had to wait 4 weeks for delivery and installation. The installation appeared to go okay but the the last thing the installers did was to refit the kick board. When they left we discovered the dishwasher door would not open because of the kick board. It was actually lucky the dishwasher could not be used as the waste pipe had not been secured, which could have resulted in the kitchen being flooded. We then attempted to contact Currys but were directed to SMEG who could not help. It seemed impossible to speak to someone at Currys. We decided to call into the local store in Hamilton. The Customer Services person contacted the installation team who set a date for another 2 weeks to come and fix the problem they caused and offered to refund the installation cost of £90. I was also given an email address to contact customer service at HQ to try and get a quicker resolution. I sent two emails, both automatic acknowledged but no response to either. The dishwasher was fixed by two different installers who were amazed at the shoddy work of their colleagues. I returned to the store on two additional occasions were I was again promised a response and a refund which had to be dealt with by HQ as it was paid via Pay Pal. On the last occasion i was then told I could not get a refund but they would offer me a £15 voucher. A company who is incompetent, does not respond to customers and tells lies. I will not buy again from this company.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE After a response from Currys I sent all the details of this to them, needless to say I’ve not received acknowledgment or a reply to my email! I did get a text from TEAMKNOWHOW yesterday saying they’d be in touch as soon as they have a delivery date, this was after receiving a Text from CurrysPCW to say my delivery would be today, 24/08/21 I received another Text from TEAMKNOWHOW last night to say my delivery would be here Today between 07.45 and 11.45 and I could track my order by following the link, I did this as soon as I got up this morning to see that the Status was “Contact Needed” I called the number to be told that my TV wasn’t getting delivered today as it was currently showing as “out of stock” Another day off work for no reason, that’s 3 in total now costing me the best part of £900 as being self employed I don’t get paid if I don’t work! Just when you think this company can’t get any worse they manage to sink even lower, I would urge anyone who wants good customer service and a reliable service to GO ELSEWHERE to get their product! I’ll be going to the store today to cancel my nearly £3000 order! Ross F Utter Incompetence I went in store a couple of weeks ago to order my new 85” TV and Sound Bar and was told that the “delivery date” would be Friday 20/08/21 I sold my 65” Curved TV on Thursday the 19th and took the day off work to accept my delivery on the Friday, imagine my amazement when they only delivered the Sound Bar! On phoning the “Customer Service” number (don’t laugh) I eventually got through to be told that the Store had forgotten to give the delivery guys my 85” TV - I know, it’s an easy thing to mislay. I was then told the earliest they could get it to me was Sunday 22nd, I had no choice but to accept this, I turned down an overtime shift to be at home and accept my new TV only to receive a text on Sunday morning to say my delivery was coming on Tuesday 24th Again, I phoned “Customer Service” to be told there was nothing to say my delivery would be here on Sunday and was then asked, who told me that it would be Sunday Delivery? Basically calling me a liar as there was no record of my call to them on the Friday! I’m now going to have to take another day off work if I want my TV and being self employed this is beginning to cost me a fortune! I’m seriously thinking about cancelling my whole order, getting them to pick up the Sound Bar and taking my business to a company where I might get better customer service! If I could give zero stars on this review, I would!

I purchased a laptop some 5 years ago that came with a free trial of cloud. Then to find they had been chaging my bank account for 5 years after the trail period, under handed bordering on fraud don't get caught on FREE trials

Awful customer service. We gave them £400 in exchange for a dishwasher that they, Curry’s were selling. Dishwasher was faulty. Their call system is set up to not have to talk to you. Following their call system, we somehow ended up talking to the dishwasher manufacturer. They had no idea how that happened. Blatant avoidance on Curry’s part. We don’t understand why the consumer has to do the leg-work. The relationship between Curry’s and the dishwasher manufacturer is nothing to do with us. After two visits by an engineer, the dishwasher was still not working. We contacted Curry’s again (by EVERY means we could find, because they seem to want to hide!) and they said there is nothing to do without an uplift number from the manufacturer. We spoke with the manufacturer and they had no idea what we were talking about. UPLIFT NUMBERS ARE A FOB OFF BY CURRYS!!! We were getting nowhere (with the frustration exacerbated by the call system, and this would now affect us personally at the time), by which time another engineer visit happened. The engineer broke a part. This then needed another visit (btw, engineer visits are at least two weeks apart!). The engineer called for the final visit, and left saying that they had done everything. We asked the engineer about an uplift number “just in case” and they said they said he had no idea what it was and they had never seen an uplift number, although they were asked all the time; he initiated it was a fob-off too. By this time, we had worked out a lot of the work arounds on the phone system to be able to get to speak to someone (which includes making guttural noises when asked who the manufacturer is because if you don’t, you just end up getting put through to the manufacturer) Spoke to “customer service” and she was not pleasant. Understandably, her pleasantness disappeared after she asked for an uplift number. Dishwasher is 6 months old. Never worked. 5 engineer visits (1 cancelled). 7 frustrating calls to Curry’s and, through no fault of their own, three calls to the manufacturer. We bought the machine from Curry’s. We deal with Curry’s . They sold inadequate goods. They need to replace. The relationship between Cuuprrys and the manufacturer is absolutely of no concern to ourselves. Currys have no respect for their consumers. Edit: just realised they make you jump through hoops to leave a review!!! The6 must know what is coming!

Appalling Company. Ship goods out damaged / faulty. Offer no help or support whatsoever. Arrange return of goods and then refuse to refund. AVOID.

If i could do a 0 star i would, they are disgraceful, customer service and after sales are shocking. J wonder do they receive commission or z bonus for for sales as they rip you off, telling you things out of stock but can order and pay extra £5 , or in my case told me they could order item free for next day but kept saying my card wouldnt work , tried other cards but then told it was because they had no stock anywhere left and the newer version had replaced it, ended up paying £50 more. Used the item once, not exactly what id wished for but ok, then the next day receive mail to say the original one was now ready to collect and i had been charged for it. Customer services where not interested, i was refunded the £200.00 but left feeling angry i had spent £50 more for something i didnt want.i went to the shop to explain but no help or interested, i tried to complain on the phone and passed through to a few different people but no one listened so i told them they needed to look at their training strategy and guess what... ? The phone went dead.. i will never buy from currys ever again. Thank god i checked my mail, i just hope they havnt taken even more money out of my account.

The word for this company is useless. Never helpful, I pay a monthly subscription to curry’s care services as stated on transaction and when you call to cancel they have no information or don’t know who that is. They don’t have any problems locating my bank details to collect the payment funny how it works a. Company always the same. I avoid curry’s at all costs and try use Argos as alternative as they sell similar products

Purchased a Curry's essential freezer that arrived & had a damaged drawer with razer sharp edges. I had also ordered frozen food for that evening so had no choice but to unpack & use the freezer. Over the next few days life happened but I eventually got round to calling customer support (around a week later) to organise either a discount to purchase a new drawer, a new drawer or a new freezer. I was told by the call operator that because I had installed the freezer I was not entitled to an exchange, refund, new drawer or compensation to cover the cost of a new drawer. I was also told that if I had not installed the freezer and instead let the £200 of frozen food go to waste then I would have been compensated for the lost food. To top it all the call operator was rude and hung up on me because i told her I was recording the call. I have spent around £5000 with this company this year. I WILL NEVER return.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. BUY ELSEWHARE BECAUSE THEY ARE NO HELP. I recently got a laptop from them that was faulty, no refund was offered, it went in for repairs twice and they still wont let me get an exchange. Customer service was no help at all as they weren't aware on what the policy on returns, exchanges and faults were. I have been calling for 3 weeks now and it has honestly become draining and depressing for me since I cant do any work and will most likely pursue a law suit or claim now. I will be telling family and friends and any one I know to stay away from this company.

the worst customer service ever. ordered product in store, the wrong one turned up. phone up to return and there is no option on IVR system, get through to someone they cant process my order, i go to web chat but it is not supported on google chrome or IE only Edge. webchat doesn't help at all and sends me round in circles. phone in again... because it was an in store purchase the agent on the phone couldnt process so transfers me to in store... wait 40 mins... speak to someone and they cant help either.

Received an email about vip pass and it said we have reserve a console for u in ur local branch i went there paid £500 for it and the guy in store said we dont have straight away but we will call u back in couple of days to collect it, i rang after 10 days in the store and they said it will not be available till next 3-4 weeks as we are out of stock whats the point of this vip pass. The VIP pass is jist a SCAM to play with peoples money for 3 to 4 weeks. Useless pc world have lost a loyal customer. Will never go back to them. 07979828093

Absolutely terrible experience for returns from an online purchase. The item turned out to be faulty. I spent two days going through options on the phone which would end up with me being disconnected as the automated system believes its answered your problem. I was only phoning as the chat service wasn’t working, every attempt took me back to the page before (including when accessed off a Currys text that purported to take you straight to the chat service). All of this was because the return email said to make sure that the parcel had the address on. When i finally got to speak to someone they said not to worry there was no address needed as the delivery driver would have one! To think i used them instead of Amazon to save £5!!

Bought LG American fridge freezer and washing machine. Due for delivery today. Confirmed twice over the phone and twice on webchat. Still not received slot confirmation, so called and now they are telling due to some unknown error, they cannot deliver today!

Disgusting service, really let down,we ordered an integrated dishwasher and washer dryer from them, they installed washing machine and did not install the dishwasher, now after 1 month the washing machine fitting started dripping water and spoiled our kitchen skirtkings and cupboards, we called them to fix this and installed the dishwasher and they gave us a week later date which is today, so expected them to visit today and hoping we could use the washing machine, the installer calls at last minute to us and installer did not turn up and when we call the customer care, they again say apologies which definitely is not being meant when making the customer suffer again and again for the service he has already paid for, and we are told we can book the installation for next tuesday or we can refund you the installtion, such a joke, So still i wait for next 5 days to get some shitty excuse. Really if this does not gets resolved, will definitely never and recommend to buy anything from curry to friends and family.
