I have purchased cake’s previously and they have been good! However my last two orders have been poor. I usually purchase cakes for friends birthdays in the hope they are pleasantly surprised. This last time the Raspberry ripple cake was dry and tasteless. Unfortunately the cake was thrown away. Very sad.

The stuff is good but their delivery is beyond bad. Despite feedback last year its still the same. Poor tracking service. If you miss the delivery it goes back.

Website didn’t offer a delivery time, we were told there was ‘maybe’ a problem with the website. Unable to use 15% voucher Customer service said they couldn’t help contact the delivery company to help us find out what time cake would be delivered.

One of the ordered cakes was wrong: ordered one with passion fruit but arrived the victoria sponge; had no opportunity and time to change so... it is what it is

The cake wasn’t good at all. Tasted like old cake from a few days. Really disappointed as I was a big fan of yours. Probably won’t order again given the price.

I always think it's funny when a company sends you an email asking you to review them, even though they know you had a poor experience, to the point where you had to complain. Terrible delivery and then really bad customer service when I needed to follow up. They did resolve it eventually, but defo wouldn't recommend using Cutter and Squidge at all based on this experience

Waste of money. Full of sugar. We couldn’t finish it. I had to bin it. It needs a lot of research before it is put on sale. I ll never order again. Huge disappointment !!!

We have had these cakes before and decided to order one for our daughters 17th birthday. The cake we received was very Dissapointing. It was dry and the lemon cream tasted off after 24 hours in the fridge. It was underwhelming.

I order at least a couple of cakes every year for the past 3/4 years. The last order was just not what I was used to. Cake was way smaller than usual, dry and the taste wasn’t great either. That is really a shame because I have always loved cutter and squid he’s cakes. Not sure what has happened but I won’t be ordering one again after the sad experience. I bought this cake for my sister’s birthday, it was supposed to be big about for six people. We were four and was barely enough… plus, as mentioned, the cake itself was not the flavourful smooth cake I usually buy from herei.

Ordered a cake recently that I have already reviewed; it was so disappointing and tasted artificial and terrible. Considering it was also a vegan cake- when we’ve had in the past it was so fresh tasting, it is now just pure sugar. Meanwhile I had already previously ordered some of the Biskie boxes, one as a gift and one for my husband (the recipient of what turned out to be the disaster cake). Unfortunately when the Biskies arrived we did not enjoy these either. They were so so sweet and artificial tasting, just like the cake. To the point they leave a sweet film on your tongue. I am also not impressed with the customer service side. After the review of the cake, someone responded publicly that they were contacting me privately; this ended up being in the form of a voucher sent to me for the value of the cake. No response to the points raised, no apology; a voucher for the very same place I have now had two disappointing orders. I don’t think I would feel confident buying and occasion cake again from here, if these are now the ingredients used, and a total lack of balance. So not sure how much use the voucher will be- and my husband’s birthday damage was already done. I had not intended to write another review- however I have been sent a link asking for one at least 7 times in the last couple of weeks! I have even unsubscribed from getting review links allegedly, but low and behold another this morning.

I was told the cake would be delivered at 9.30am - 11am.. it didn’t turn up I was then told that it would be 6pm at the latest. The cake showed up at 10pm by that point the Birthday was over so it was very disappointing.

Don't buy unless you're happy to be deluged with emails detailing every inch of the journey followed by more requests that you review, etc. Get real. It's a cake. Do the job well and move on.
