“The cake from its looks is a kids delight, but unfortunately it was way too sweet and none of the kids at the party liked it. Think the sweetness needs to be measured and or probably add a layer of biscuit that’s unsweetened.”

“Ordered a cake for my sons 21st. Had added a message to fo on the cake but when it arrived it was blank. I called them and they said i had to purchase a £5 disc for the message to go on. But it wasnt clear at all. Found the website very confusing.”

“Good product, but customer services are sadly lacking and pretty poor. They delivered the cake late, despite me paying for the most expensive type of delivery, which meant that it completely missed the recipient's birthday meal. They have since only refunded me a small portion of the delivery fee and after multiple emails, multiple attempts at calling them, I've had no response over the course of nearly 3 weeks - I only want to understand why I haven't been refunded the full delivery amount - Is anyone actually there..?!?”

“The product itself was well received but the delivery system was just awful. It was a gift and the delivery times were 8-8 with a bad system in place to track it! I ended up having to pay £9 again for the delivery the next day. Honestly, wouldn’t bother again.”

“Received 2 x boxes of Vegan Loafs , they were solid and completely tasteless . The flavours were almost impossible to tell apart . You could not taste the chocolate from strawberry . I had tried to contact C&C by email to ask why they were like this but I have still No reply 1 week ago . I was devastated. Nobody on our 2 tables of 6 people finished a single loaf and I threw the second box in the bin. I have never had to do that before .im more bothered the fact I never got a reply or even a call than the quality as I’m sure the quality is not often an issue as there are many positive reviews of C&C”

“Save your money. Really disappointed as was looking forward to these. The best ones in the box were the triple chocolate. The other 2 varieties were meh. Would not buy again.”

“Hi.. when placing the order, it looked like there would be 6 different flavour, however there were only 3 different flavour. Two of them (4 biskies in total) had the same filling so there were really only two flavours. On top of that it should say which flavour as 4 of them had the same marshmallows middle which was not a flavour would choose. Very disappointing as the person who bday they were for only liked one flavour (not marshmallow).”

Hi, Thank you for your review, we are disappointed that you were not happy with the product. Please can you e-mail us at hello@cutterandsquidge.com with your issue. We have tested our sponge quality and cake quality and cannot find the same issue experienced. We provide cake care advice on the box to avoid cake being eaten cold, as this can make the cake seem dry when really it is just cold from delivery and requires warming up to room temperature. kind regards, C&S

Hi, Thank you for your review, we offer multiple windows for priority delivery. If you choose standard delivery we provide an ETA and tracking, our drivers will also text and call you. Unfortunately, we have to navigate London traffic and road works along with other deliveries which sometimes take longer if another customer take time to accept the order. “I bought some truffles as a birthday gift and wrote a note out to be put inside the box. There was no note. The gift was totally anonymous. Which was pretty embarrassing actually. That’s not the most disappointing thing. I emailed you to let you know and didn’t even get a reply. Won’t be buying again.”

“The treats were lovely, when they were delivered...unfortunately they were delivered late for a one-year old birthday party and then we had to sort out with customer services, to have them delivered at a later date. Rather disappointing when paying extra fees for delivery....”

“We re ordered cake from you twice, unlike other cake shops who make their cakes on the day, i can only assume you make your cakes the night before and put them in the fridge. All cakes have been solid cold and we ve had to wait for them to defrost. Ince defrosted cakes are amazing though”

Hi Thamy, Thank you for your review, we make everything fresh all made in the same kitchen that the cake in store are made. We have to keep the cake very cold in a refrigerator right up until delivery to ensure that it has integrity to keep it shape whilst travelling. The cakes are by no means frozen, just chilled so they can be transported. I hope that clarifies this issue up! kindest, C&S

“I bought this for my grandads 83rd birthday as it had the best reviews online and as i couldnt take him out being lockdown i thought it would be a nice supprise for him, he said it was beautiful tasting and amazing quality, but from the picturse they showed me the size of the hamper was tiny which was dissapointing for saying how much i had paid plus delivery the scones were bite size the cakes included were a small childs portion if i was being generous, i wouldnt buy it again as it was that dissapointing or advise anyone to cause of the size of it, it is not good value for money even good quality for the amount of money you pay for it.”

Hi Joshua, Thank you for your review! We appreciate the feedback although we are surprised - our scones are a generous 120g and supermarket scones are 70g for comparison. So they are almost twice the size of your average scone! We've always had the feedback that there is enough for more the next day, but happy to relay this to the team however, but I would check with your grandad as maybe the picture skewed the proportion a little bit? :) If you can forward us this picture to hello@cutterandsquidge.com for quality control that would be greatly appreciated!
