“The plus side was delivery was really quick and efficient and the website easy to use. Thank you for this. The brownies I ordered were a present. I was there when they arrived - the outside of the box was covered in super sticky goo, which had escaped from the brownies. Not a great experience for the receiver. One set of brownies were fine and very tasty, but the really sticky ones were very thin - like some of them were only 3-4 mm thick. And very sweet and sticky. They all got eaten - but I’m wouldn’t order that box again”

“Even though the cake was absolutely delicious, rich with buttery sweetness, I've got a big worry about the delivery. I ordered it as a surprise for my little brother's birthday. He's studying at Warwick University and staying in the campus dorms. It was a real hassle for him to have to pick it up from the university's mail office. I was really hoping they'd just deliver it straight to his door, especially since I made sure to include all the dorm details in the address. Being in a different country, I'm not familiar with how deliveries work here in the UK, but this whole situation was quite frustrating.”

“Cake arrived on time and was a good size, however we ordered the salted caramel double chocolate cake and found it to taste a bit strange - nutty in flavour and a bit dry. It was disappointing as I’ve had good cakes from here in the past. You just need to find the right cake for you before ordering - will be good if they offered a taster box.”

“Cake came in a lovely little tin. Overall it was expensive for a cake so small. Reminded me of one of those small Tesco finest range cakes with some icing on top with some petals. It did taste quite nice tho.”

“Order and Delivery very promptly, especially as a couple of days before Christmas. As delivery to relatives, the downside was that I was not told the list of contents in the packages so did not know exactly what they received, or if it represents good value”

“The customer service (Theo) was brilliant when I had a technical issue ordering this but unfortunately the brownies never arrived at their correct destination which I assume was down the the delivery driver and the delivery date being the friday before Christmas rather than a fault with Cutter and Squidge.”

“The cakes were a Christmas gift. I bought them because they were a 'Letterbox' gift. I was however concerned when I read that I needed to say where they could be left if no one was in, and did ask if they would actually go through a letterbox. I received a quick response to my email assuring me they would. However I was disappointed to see the photo from the courier showing the box outside the door and it was obviously too big to go through the letterbox.”

“Beautiful presentation but unfortunately that's the highlight. C&S has delicious options but this one was a bit disappointing. Not much flavor and could stand to have more filling to round it out. Will not repurchase this option but still a fan of C&S as other products have been more than satisfying.”
