“I wanted to buy a large birthday cake for a party but the time slots were too inconvenient and I was not going to pay loads more to secure a smaller time window. I was not very happy with responses to my messages, they just stopped after the first one or two. I bought a cake elsewhere but then thought I might organise the delivery of an afternoon tea, which would have been greatly appreciated, however the reviews on the quality of the scones were not good, so I decided on a box of truffles and bottle of prosecco, which was delivered on time and well received.”

“Arrived in time but they really need to work on their packaging. The top of the cake came off the plastic and I had to try to spread it back on. My partner asked if me if I had made the cake. Not the look and feel I was going for.”

“The cake itself looked just like the image. Top plastic on cake box had been pressed in slightly touching cake which is obv a delivery issue. I wasn’t overly impressed by the sponge to be honest. It was very dense and hard to eat. The actual flavor of the cake was nice. But the sponge wasn’t light or fluffy. It was a very small cake and 6 adults and 2 kids couldn’t finish more than half of it which is a sign in itself.”

“The cake itself was lovely but I felt slightly disappointed for the price. If you are in a pinch and need something conveniently delivered - so you don’t have to transport a cake for example, this may be worthwhile and the cake tastes great. However, next time I would personally spend the money at a local baker as I believe I would get more value for money.”

“The service from the start to the end is excellent. The presentation of the cake itself and even the box is excellent, but when it comes to the taste and flavour of the cake, I’m afraid it was not much in it, pretty basic.”

“It was a lovely tasting cake, but for the price very small, so wouldn’t purchase again. Also delivery price was high. Because of this, I thought the delivery company would take care, but the DPD driver just swung the bag with cake in it to me, no care at all.”

“I received two boxes of brownies. One of the boxes was damaged from the side. Because it was a gift I couldn't open the seal to check if the brownies inside were ok. It will be really embarrassing if they were damaged inside as well. I would recommend stronger packaging with some padding around if possible. This was feedback I had seen by others online as well so definitely something for the company to take on. Thank you.”
