“We ordered from Cutter and Squidge for my sons birthday and considering he was a lockdown baby, we wanted to do something special and fun. The event we had was very intimate, and so we all discussed where to get the cake from.. Almost unanimously we all cake to the decision C&S would be epic as it had been hyped up and we got excited thinking about it... Sadly, the hype was a little over hyped and there were a few reasons for it... The cake itself was nice and heavy and well cooked but it wasn't really sweet at all and we ended up supplementing with ice cream- which we really didn't want to serve with the cake as we felt it'd take away the shine. The decor of the cake itself was very scarce compared to what was shown on the website. To wrap up, we were quite underwhelmed and certainly felt that it didn't justify the pricetag, and doubt we'll be ordering again. May I also say that the other guests felt this way too.”

“The cake we ordered looked amazing, but unfortunately the sponge was quite dry. I also had to pay several additional fees to be able to get it delivered during a 2 hour slot to the restaurant. Decoration looked fab though.”

“Cake itself was tasty, and nicely presented in a cute cake tin and box. However, the requested gift card/message was not included which was really disappointing and quite a key miss. Also, although good to have information about delivery, the company used bombarded with too many messages. Including one just 6 mins prior to delivery.”

“I bought this box if treats as a birthday present for my friend. I am told they were delicious. However, I was sent a photo of the contents as delivered and I was disappointed at how messy they got in transit. Such a shame that a good product with pretty packaging was delivered in a sloppy manner. I would buy this as a gift again.”

“Delivery options are expensive and unreliable. Treats turned up very late in the evening, by which time it was too late to give to the recipient, and had to gift them two days later, meaning they weren’t fresh. Such a shame!”

“The box arrived on time and was packed well so all items were fresh. The chocolate brownies and scones were tasty however the lemon sponge was dry and over cooked and the lemon icing very sticky and was distributed over the cake as if it was poured when the cake was still hot.”

“I wanted to love this cake but unfortunately didn’t - maybe it was because the marshmallow just wasn’t very nice. Not chewy as lovely marshmallow can be. But really looking forward to trying lemon and blueberry”
