“I instantly regretted getting this Squidge selection as soon as I tased the squidge truffles they were flavourless and had a strange texture to them. On the other hand the Brisks were to die for and I was really pleased while eating them I only wished I got a whole box of them solely as macaroons weren’t any better. Again I completely loved the Brisks and will buy a box of those sometime in the future”

“I bought the Eton mess cake during lockdown when most places weren’t delivering, so it was great that I could get the cake. It looked amazing and tasted nice but nothing special. For taste and price, I would not order it again”

“Wrong cake delivered and not able to contact customer service as phone services offline due to pandemic. Luckily found a number for the courier who returned with the right cake. The vegan slices were okay and the Eton mess cake looked lovely. Wished we ordered the biskies.”

“I have ordered from C&S before and the cake was delicious so I was looking forward to the two cakes I ordered. They were delivered on time as promised and packaged very well. One was the passion fruit and pistachio and the other was the millionaire. The passion fruit was top quality and delicious but, although I ordered small, I didn’t realise how tiny it would actually be and is felt it was too expensive for the size. The millionaire cake looked fantastic but was sadly disappointed. Although the icing and extra bits were delicious the sponge was very dry and ruined the experience. Overall I felt let down after paying £80 for two small cakes.”

“Not as much variety as the picture implies (4 flavours not 6). Hard go distinguish what each one tasted of, with one just tasting of dough. Disappointed as not up to the usual cutter and squidge standard.”

“Box arrived in good order with a cool pack enclosed to keep fresh. Expensive for what they are being a cake mixture & decorated on the outside with hundreds & thousands, nuts and something else which I couldn’t work out. A selection of 4 flavours only not 6 as shown. An expensive treat.”

“I was expecting there to be more chocolate or salted caramel given the name of the cake. One drizzle of caramel on the top that was all, the cake was of high quality but not worth the money for me. Will not purchase again.”

Hi, As we explained in the e-mail, due to the pandemic some suppliers were ate delivering to us. Unfortunately there is little in our control that we can do about this and it caused the delay. kindest, C&S

“I’ve have had this sent to me as a gift and I then sent it as a gift. I received it in a lovely bag and beautifully presented. When I sent it as a gift, it arrived in a scruffy box, with the cream in a horrid silver foil bag. In my opinion the portions are too large. They should be smaller and more options. The chocolate brownies x2 were so sweet, we couldn’t eat them. I added some little sandwiches of my own. Great idea but needs refining.”
