“The cake looked great. However, it terrible and incredibly unusual flavour and smell, almost like wet dog, that really put everyone off eating it.”

“Cake truffles were okay, didn’t really taste of anything, just a lot of sugar. The raspberry ripple cake that ordered with this was outstanding! And such a hit with my family.”

“The cake was ok. The icing was nice because it wasn’t too sweet which was refreshing. However, the cake was lacking in flavour on both the sponge and the jam. There was confusion on the order for the personalised choc disc. Overall, better cakes and service out there for your £50”

“The product was really well received but despite me specifying a deliver date and receiving confirmation the product was delivered a day late. I’d use again but not for a birthday where the delivery date is time sensitive.”

“I had a mishap with the delivery service and contacted cutter&squidge for advice. They saw my message but never replied. In the end my order turned up when it was supposed to but the delivery driver left the food on the ground floor in the communal area, and never delivered it to my door. So even though the food was good (when I eventually got to it!), the customer service was non-existent so I probably won’t use them again.”

Hi, Thank you for your review, please can you let us know where you messaged as we have no record on our system of an e-mail from you. We are sorry that the DPD driver delivered it to you order, unfortunately as we rely on third party couriers for deliveries outside of London we are unable to monitor their quality until after an issue occurs. “The birthday cake was lovely. C&S were let down by their delivery company who failed to deliver within a 12 hour window on the actual birthday. That company then asked for £25 to redeliver the next day. Not C&S fault (it was put down to heavy traffic) but it wasn't the best experience and the birthday cake was 3 days old by the time it came to the plate. C&S intervened on request and arranged for re-delivery the day after that AND for free. C&S Customer Service very good, product very good, delivery company - have a rethink.”

“The standard of the cakes was not the same on different orders of the same cake. For a cake at this price I wouldn't expect this.”

“Good packaging, everything arrived in good condition, which was important as it was for someone's birthday. Overall though, slightly disappointed in all 3 of the boxes I ordered, especially compared to how much I enjoyed the potions room experience in store.”

“The cake was good. However I specifically requested and paid for the morning slot delivery (8am-12pm) because we had to leave at 1pm. And the cake was supposed to be a birthday surprise. It was an hour late and as I saw the driver on the tracking map he was getting late, I tried to reach someone to explain the situation; however there was no contact info for the driver and it was impossible to reach Cutter and Squidge - all machine on the phone and no reply to my email. I still haven't heard from them. Good cake but a lousy 8 minute to enjoy it - not the best experience I have had with birthdays. It's a shame that I will not order again.”

Hi, So sorry that your order arrived late, I can see it arrived at 12.52 pm on the day. Unfortunately, sometimes there are traffic issues that mean we cannot forsee a delay until it happens. “Cake was amazing but service was bad. The driver who attempted to send the cake in the first delivery did not call me at all so i think it's unfair for me to pay another 16£ for another same day delivery. Also i think driver went to the wrong building in the first place (cos second time, he went to the wrong building too. Had to wait and go out from my apartment to look for him)”

“Delivery arrived in a squashed box and some of the contents was damaged. Phoned customer services and they dealt with the issue quickly and fairly. Other than that it would of been a great afternoon tea”
