“They looked very pretty - but sadly they didn’t deliver on taste - just overly sweet. Sorry ;-(”

“Delicious cakes. So good. I found the biskies and macarons a bit too sweet. Do order for arrival the day before you need it; we ordered for the day of so it was fresh, but, it didn’t arrive until nearly 8pm- which meant the birthday dinner was finished!”

Hi Amanda, Thank you for your feedback, sorry that the biskies and macarons were not to taste. If you need the order to be delivered by a specific time we also offer 8-12pm and 12-4pm time slots as well as the standard 8am-8pm slot. Team C&S

“I ordered brownie box and birthday cake as a gift for my son in student halls. The delivery was prompt and tracked well, however the brownie packaging got bruised in transit. The cake was packed nicely and securely, however I was a bit disappointed that the ‘happy birthday’ disc was not placed on top of the cake- when the birthday cake was revealed it looked quite plain and boring and slightly underwhelming after opening the lovely packaging which was a shame, and the cake did not look worth the price I paid for it.It would also be nice if some of the more characterful cakes (more cutter & Squidge type) were available for UK wide delivery. Taste wise, my son loved the cake and the brownies.”

“The cake didn’t really match the image on the site and the description accurately, for example the layers aren’t constructed in the same way, there was very little jam and it didn’t contain any meringue in the cake (only on top). Also the freezed strawberries (rather than fresh) were rather tasteless. It did taste good but it is a shame it didn’t live up to the image and description. I’ve noticed others have said the same.”

“The products were very nice. However delivery paid extra to arrive by 12 noon. As my daughters 21st birthday. I am Overseas & this completed a chain of presents. Did not arrive on time, took all day to locate (8 hour time difference) most upsetting. Company did resend but the time frame was completely ruined. Company needs to assess its postal options. I’d struggle to recommend as couldn’t guarantee delivery.”

“The cake truffles were tiny and the box wasn’t snug enough so they rolled around inside and looked messy by the time they were delivered. It was a gift and I was quite embarrassed when the recipient sent me a picture.”

“Unfortunately tomato chutney was sent instead of jam. Got a 5 voucher but doesn’t take away the disappointment when sending to a loved one who is hundreds of miles away in these times Delivery was excellent and timely but I’ll look for another provider next time”
