“Lemon drizzle was tasty and scones good. I felt the brownie was too big. This was a gift so hadn’t looked at the contents but was disappointed there were no sandwiches. The price seemed a bit much given we had to pay £10 for delivery”

“A lovely gift suitable for anyone. I was suprised at how expensive the postage was...£6 was the cheapest option and you couldn’t even specify the time of day it was delivered which if it’s a gift makes it tricky to surprise the recipient. Would probably look for cheaper options as I’d rather spend more on the gift and less on postage.”

“The cake was lovely but it arrived unsealed at the sides which is not the best hygiene practice. Furthermore I was expecting your orange box for the cake but it just arrived in a plain, rather flimsy white box.”

“This was really delish but i feel like it could be made so much better as it's quite rich for an afternoon tea. Perhaps you could add smaller portians of the cake and brownie and include finger sandwiches instead. It would also be nice to offer an option to include a bottle of bubbles too.”

“My first order was lost in transit and after chasing customer service, I finally received a response 3 days later. I was given a refund for the inconvenience, and my order was resent & successfully delivered this time. I am a huge fan of Cutter & Squidge cakes, so I will continue to order, but I think more customer service staff definitely need to be hired to keep up with the increased demand. It shouldn’t be so difficult to get through to someone when you have an order query.”

“Chocolate fudge cake - ok, but no better. Really wanted to like it, but it was cloying and very sweet indeed - all sweetness, no flavour. I ate it because I will eat any cake. My daughter, whose birthday cake this was, very unusually didn't want more than a couple of forkfuls. On the plus side, it arrived in good shape and kept well for several days in the fridge. But we will probably play safe and use Betty's next time. Disappointed.”
