“Cake was lovely but the personalisation on the disc was rather poorly spaced and looked silly, which is a bit disappointing given it cost an extra £5.”

“Ordered 3 cakes through Cutter and Squidge now - 1 was delicious lemon-drizzle, 1 was gluten-free and not as good as the lemon drizzle but it was OK. Then ordered the cheesecake one and it was incredibly bland to the point that most people didn't even finish it. Had hoped all the cakes would be as good as the first but maybe that one is just a fluke.”

“Well presented, but ultimately underwhelming. Clearly a lot of effort has been put into the design and branding, but ultimately felt the quality of products simply wasn't what one would expect from a luxury brand. None of it was bad per se, but equally none of it felt remotely noteworthy.”

“The delivery was part of a corporate order, I found it took a while to receive replies via email and I had to follow up a few times. The delivery was also not on time.”

“I have always ordered Cutter and Squidge cakes when I was living in London, freshness and quality were top notch. Their customer service is still amazing, however the ladt cake box Pistachio and passion fruit was not up to the standards I used to love and trust. I came back to London for my husband’s birthday and I wanted to gift him a piece of our memories there with a delicious cake. My husband and my son said it smelled of fish, the taste was ok, but there were not that many pustachios either…. Not memorable.”

“The presentation of the cakes was ok however I was really disappointed with the flavour of the majority of the cakes, they were very bland and not as nice as I was expecting given the price. Also the texture of some of the cakes wasn’t great, particularly the macarons which just fell apart. I also found it frustrating that some items could be delivered to my address but not others. I have used several other postal cake and macaron companies and unfortunately I was very underwhelmed with this one so won’t be using again, particularly given the price.”

“The cake was amazing , all the guests loved it ! However, the ordering process was a complete nightmare. I first enquired about ordering a large cake a few months ago, I wanted to collect it in person. I was told to speak to the bakery, after many attempts I finally got through to them. They said they couldn’t accept an order for a large cake. I then went back to customer service team, they said I can order online for delivery. I went on the website and I wasn’t able to order the larger 2 tier cake. I called back and they said I should order a normal size cake , pay for it. Then email customer services about the actual cake I want. They will then send me an email with a payment link so I can pay the difference. The cake will then be ordered. Why can’t you just accept orders on your website ?!”

“Extremely expensive for the size of the cake you recieve. Flavour is good, but not that good you'd pay £35 a cake. Try ASDA chocolate vegan torte £4. Voila. Saved you £30”
