There was plastic looking fibers coming out of the bottom of two of the cookies. You might want to sort that out, pretty sure its not hygienic. The other bits were alright but nothing special.

Delicius biskies but delivery arrived late (too late for the party I was hosting) and there was no option to get in touch with the company instantly, whether via live chat or phone. Very disappointed.

Having paid for a special delivery in the morning of the birthday and missed it (by 5mins), we were told the delivery will take place next day between 8am to 8pm. Being a key worker I booked a holiday to stay at home to ensure my daughter received her cake. We were notified just after 5pm that the delivery will be late, so we cancelled the meal at her favourite restaurant to stay at home so not to miss the delivery. The cake however did not arrive until 8.56pm and with it having been out on the road for two days in the delightful heat, was not fit for consumption. Having spoken to the customer service department on the first day (having missed delivery by 5mins) and throughout the second day to ensure delivery will not be late because of the planned meal and our daughter not having a birthday cake to cut on her actual birthday....at no point did they inform us that our delivery will be the last on the run or be travelling around London in a car without refrigeration. Complaining is pointless - the customer service department basically judging whether a cake is fit for consumption by a picture. The terms and conditions are not clear - health warning needs to appear, clearly stating you must ensure you are in the house, none of the vehicles they use to deliver the cakes are refrigerated (evidenced by the picture) and should you miss delivery, just pay the £25 they request to get the cake the same day because regardless of emails stating you will receive the order between 8am to 8pm, it is always the last delivery....to also receive it the following day after 8pm is pointless because you are unable to eat it. The poor driver had been working since 5am delivering cakes in his car and we were not the last delivery.

Hi Hiren, Thank you for your review. We did deliver your cake on time and well within the timeslot you had requested. Unfortunately you were not home to receive this order, I do feel it does not need to be stated on our terms and conditions that you have to be home to receive your order as how else would you be able to accept your delivery. I have sent proof including photos of this delivery attempt. You were also called by the driver while he was outside. The delivery company did also provide you a text message containing a live tracking system link the day before so you were able to see the status of your order at all times. As this delivery was missed we offered to redeliver on the same day but the delivery company (not us) would require a £25 fee to do this. We also informed you we would attempt to deliver the cake the next day free of charge and confirmed the cake would still be within its shelf life. The text messages you receive clearly state they are providing a estimated time of delivery and this is why you have the live tracking option so you are able to see the status of your order at all times. Our orders are always refrigerated to ensure freshness and quality for our customers orders. We are disappointed to hear you were unhappy with the resolution, however we did offer the two possible options in this case which were not deemed acceptable by yourself. We have to remember we did fulfil your instructions and although you were not home to receive this we did attempt to correct this for you with all the possible options available. Kind regards, C&S

Terrible customer service. Didn’t deliver the cake on the day they were supposed to so the cake was not fresh at all. I tried to cancel the order but they wouldn’t allow this or offer a refund. Do not order!!!!

We would not leave orders with the concierge unless stated to us by our customers in the delivery instructions. Your delivery was successfully redelivered the next day free of charge and we also reassured you your order would be well within its shelf life and quality of the cake would not be affected. The cake should be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers. The macaroons were nice but the biskies tasted like they were gone off. Also, the rose petals on some biskies were very over powering. I think the box should have more traditional and simple flavours. Nice idea but didn't hit the spot.

Absolutely disgusting. Each base was dark chocolate which is not mentioned in the ingredients. The fillings were clearly tampered with as they all had added salt to huge amounts. The coated brownies melted during delivery due to the high heat around 28 degrees (so you can imagine in the back of a van it would be around 34 degrees). For the amount you pay for the item and delivery, you think that a simple plastic cold pack could be inserted into the package. Not worth the price. The point of buying items such as this online is that the bakers are meant to cook better than you. They could not in this case. Avoid this company at all costs.

Our brownies do mention they are mixed and we do specify which brownies contain dark chocolate in our product description section. All of our products are quality checked before packing and based on this I can absolutely confirm no fillings would of been tampered with as you mentioned. We also chill our products for transport so they don't get damaged. As well as package them with a Ice pack for the journey. Terrible and stressful customer service and delivery. I asked for an escalation and it’s been weeks with no contact. And I am still waiting for a refund. I would not recommend buying this company as once something delivered they ignore you regardless of whether you are happy or not!

I never actually got to test the quality of the product, as the delivery I ordered to an office (and requested office hour delivery within the slot 8am-8pm) got scheduled to arrive at 7.30pm. I called the delivery service at 9am in the morning but they refused to change the delivery slot, so I went cakeless to my dinner party that evening!

Worst cake company I've used. They got address wrong via Internet and then didn't even refund my money. I was left without a cake for my husbands birthday. Please do not use this company.

It was really disappointing. This did not taste like a lemon cake at all. I had high hopes for this cake considering the chocolate one we purchased before was great.

Sorry but the cookies I bought were mushy and unimpressive. We bought one pack for gifting but ended up throwing it as didnt want to share it with anyone

I ordered a box of sweets for a friend. The delivery guy left it inside a dustbin storage because nobody was home at the address. How very unhygienic to leave food items inside a dustbin storage. I contacted Cutter and Squidge and their response was it’s inside a box so should be fine to consume. How filthy, did not expect this response! Never ordering again if I am only going to be wasting money as the person had to bin the sweets.
