The brownies didn’t arrive as I accidentally wrote the wrong address but I didn’t get contacted by UPS - i was called by the lady they were delivered to. UPS took them back and don’t know where they got to

Really disappointed the products they were very dry and arrived 3 days late due to delivery team. poor value for money and very average quality. Really not a great Suprise for mother’s birthday. Really sorry as I hate to leave a bad review but as requested I wanted to be honest. Cheers

Hi Richard, Thanks for your review. We are really sorry for the delays in the delivery of the treats. We note that the first two delivery attempts to the address were unsuccessful, and the order was finally received on the third visit by the courier . This means the treats were not as fresh as they would have been had they arrived as scheduled, and could have lead to them being dry. We are an all natural bakery so our products do not have the long shelf life that you might be used to with products that contain preservatives. Biskies actually are great, but the last two times that I’ve ordered them they were super thin and not like they used to be. They have clearly started cutting back on materials maybe because of brexit??? Guys they don’t taste as good when they are not think and juicy. Sort it out and stop ripping people off.

Unfortunately the brownies did not arrive on the selected date. The brownies were a treat for my husband on our wedding anniversary, so it was really disappointing that they did not show up. I will not be ordering anything again from Cutter and Squidge.

Dear team I was very disappointed, I had placed and order for a cake weeks in advance to get to my boss and it was not delivered to him till the next day, after his birthday. The whole surprise element had gone! Why was I not told sooner that the box was not in stock, why was something else not offered. I was not happy with this and it is not a cheap cake and I am a regular customer ordering cakes on almost monthly basis.

Ordered brownies for a 60 yr old male and he received a Hello Kitty box of cakes. He was somewhat bemused. Emailed twice with no response. Not a great customer experience.

Order never turned up so a full refund was requested. Cutter and Squidge attempted for a gift voucher instead however I insisted on my consumer rights. Would avoid at all costs which is a shame as it looks like such a nice company online.

We had a lovely chocolate cake so ordered the Raspberry Ripple. Really horrid. Very dry brown sponge, butter cream tasted of cooking fat. We chucked it away. Complained to be told maybe it was because we had eaten it out of the fridge! It hadn't been in the fridge.

I used to love Cutter and Squidge cakes, that was until I tried their postable cakes sent to me even though I live in London. The postable cakes are far too sweet and inedible. I bought the passion fruit and pistachio and the Easter cake - both were disappointing. I did question why last years Easter cake was less sweet and was told that this cake now only comes in postable size with nationwide delivery, even though I was having the cake delivered to London and felt that I should have been given the option to get the less sweet version of the cake. I gave feedback to customer service and also felt that their response was inadequate. Overall I’ve had a disappointing experience.

The quality of the cakes and cookies was very disappointing. They were very dry and in fact they had to be thrown out as they could not be eaten. I purchased a cream tea and cookies as a birthday treat for a friend. It was humiliating to be told, when I asked, that they had had to throw most of it. Despite me contacting Cutter and Squidge several times I have not received an apology or an offer to compensate me in any way. Very disappointed all round and will certainly not use again or recommend to friends/family.

Hi Chris, We are so sorry the treats were not enjoyed. All our treats are freshly made, by hand in our bakery, so should certainly not be dry. The scones should be warmed in the oven prior to tucking in. The cookies can also be warmed in the oven as well :) Unfortunately we cannot find any contact from you regarding this order. Very poor. The Easter brownies I ordered were only edible until 29th March - days before Easter. So I didn’t eat them. I contacted customer services but they wouldn’t give me an exchange or refund. They only offered 10% off my next order. What a waste of £14. I will never order anything from you again

Hi Clare, We mention on the website the brownies have a shelf life of 7 days. We use all natural ingredients which means our products do not have a long shelf life. As you chose delivery on 23rd March the 7 days shelf life means that the brownies would not keep until Easter. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered you a discount if you wished to purchase the brownies again. We are sorry you decided not to enjoy the brownies whilst they were fresh. Not only did the product not go the right place, it was redirected to the billing address. A new bus was only delivered to the right address, because I wrote an email, threatening to inform This Morning where I had originally found the idea from The products were stale and poorly presented, unfortunately would not recommend this company at all. Extremely pricey for the content too Suggest you make your form user friendly

Ordered this afternoon tea after seeing it advertised on this morning. So disappointed. It was a present for my aunt who I haven’t seen during lockdown. Think the presentation is extremely poor, I could have just ordered a supermarket delivery! I thought I would give you a chance to reply before I leave a review . For the price charged I would expect a lot more thought and care put into the presentation. Please get back to me as soon as possible Company never replied

I ordered a postable Lemon Drizzle Cake as a birthday cake including a birthday message. To cut a very long story short the cake arrived 3 days after the day I had specified. It was clear from the minute it was dispatched it would be late and all they did was suggest I try to contact DPD myself and sort it out. The cake arrived too late for the birthday and was described as “dry and quite solid” which is an achievement for lemon drizzle! The birthday message is a sticky label which the recipient struggled to find so don’t bother paying the extra £3.50 for that. I had never used the company before, and I will not be using them again. They refuse to refund me offering only the £6 delivery charge and a gift voucher (no use to me). The company needs to take a long hard look at themselves and get some training on Customer Service! Warning – don’t buy a wedding cake from them for heaven’s sake. It probably will not arrive on time for the wedding but they’ll say that’s ok DPD let them down. The one star is for the packaging which was very good.
