I ordered the marken wedge espadrilles, which I love. However, I live in the US and the box that it was shipped in was so torn and battered by the time it got to me. Had anything spilled on the box during transit, my shoes might have been ruined. I was so incredibly disappointed that my shoes, which were not cheap, were put in such a flimsy box. I expect more from a company that brand their shoes as “designer”. That being said, the espadrilles are very comfortable.

Purchased an Anya Hindmarch bag. First of all the box arrived in a thin plastic envelope therefore was slightly crumpled. Inside the box all the tags were already cut, the accessories (shoulder and wrist strap) were unwrapped and placed inside the bag, and there were some fluff floating around. It made me questioned the authenticity but having seen a real one in store I think it is. I believed the service could be improved with better packaging and to leave all tags intact.

Really happy with the shoes I ordered. When choosing shoes online you almost always order two sizes in case one doesn’t fit. I have no issues with paying for delivery but when I have to pay almost £9 to return a pair of shoes tracked, that is just too much. Whether the shoes you purchase are full price or not I feel returns should be free. I’m not sure whether I will use your website again.

What if Daniel footwear didn’t make me happy?? I suggest a box for comments or improvement. Very good service - kept well informed and quick delivery but didn’t feel quality matched the price.

Easy to order and checkout. However, let down by not having the item I ordered in stock, despite advertising this as available on the website. The customer service team did contact me and asked if I would like a refund within a couple of days though.

Quick delivery of my order, shame I didn't qualify for free delivery or return even though boots were on offer still paying over £100. Sadly the Ugg indra boots were a small fit (I have 3 similar style uggs in the size I ordered but these too small) I didn't order the next size from Daniel footwear due to having to pay delivery and return costs.

The shoes I ordered did not arrived. I emailed Daniel Footwear and they said they would look into it. Meanwhile I tried to contact Amazon through whom I paid. I then emailed Daniel Footwear again and they said the parcel had not been collected and did I want reimbursing or have a replacement. I was told that the blue shoes I ordered were faded and I said that as they had them in pink I would take that pair instead of the ones ordered. These arrived the next day. I believe that the parcel was not sent in the first place and I should have been informed that the shoes had not been sent.

The store at Swindon has genuinely lovely staff who are ever so helpful. I felt so bad returning my boots to them which I ordered online which were damaged as they then had to sell them in store, not good!

Boots were very nice but a bit too small I’m in between sizes so often have to guess which one to order. I would have reordered the next size if it weren’t for the fact returns are not free on sale items. It cost me £12 to send back the boots so I didn’t want to risk having to pay that again!

Bought a pair of Ugg slippers for my partner for Christmas. Although delivery was quick and free, I could believe that the show box was damaged. It was like someone had punched a hole through it. This did not happen during transit because the shoe box was inside an even larger box. The silly thing is that there was a sticker inside the show box with someone’s initials to say that both shoes have been checked (some kind of quality control I guess). What a pity that they couldn’t be bothered to check the lid of the box. The truth is, Daniels doesn’t care about the customers overall satisfaction. I was utterly embarrassed to hand this to my partner on Christmas morning, it looked like I bought it cheap. Daniels should NEVER let anything get sent out in this condition. Disappointing!

Dear Diana, I am sorry you received the wrong size. I will be speaking to the warehouse manager to make sure he is telling the staff to properly check what they are sending out. I cant see that you contacted us on this matter to get it resolved before sending back to us. We would have happily got the correct size out to you if we had known of this situation. Ugg’s I purchased with good reduction did not fit so had to return. As there was a reduction it cost £12 to return item-rediculous & defo won’t b ordering from this site again!! Out of pocket by £12 😡

Recent purchase of what is supposed to be a high end and expensive fashion item. (Vivienne Westwood bag) Item was very poorly packaged and presented, no protection whatsoever just stuffed into the vivienne westwood dust bag (which in my opinion is the wrong one as the complete bag including the handles doesn't completely go inside) then just put into a plastic parcel bag and posted. How it never got damaged is beyond me as there were holes and tears in the parcel bag, that could have been Xmas ruined just because of a lack of adequate protection for said item. Only offended a 5% refund as I pointed out that it looks like ex display as there was no plastic bag and no extra protection in the shiny bits. I read some reviews of same bag on other sites, and customers thanking them for the professional packing and overall presentation of their product, but not on here. My first and last time using Daniel Footwear. Less than impressed.

The goods arrived quickly which was good but I needed to return and was disappointed to have to pay postage for the return. The packaging was huge and it cost me over £11. Most companies provide a more cost effective return service eg collect +/pass my parcel. This would put me off ordering from you again. Omani’s

I think Daniel Footwear is a good shop, the only issue I have is delivery company that use. I choose speedy delivery, and I received parcel nearly two weeks after purchase day. UK mail each day sent me a delivery slot when the parcel will be delivered, they didn't show up, they didn't leave a card. Contacting them didn't help. I received 9 or ten text messages from them one each that that today parcel is coming. It is a joke. Parcel finally came, but I payed for quick delivery, which I didn't get. I didn't get money back. I feel disappointed and frustrated.

two items ordered one delivered correctly the other the wrong colour, mistake was dealt with quickly with a returns label as sale goods do not qualify for free returns,as i write this i am still waiting for refund eight days on
