I have been Decathlons biggest supporter for many year's have introduced my family and friends to your store and products. very dissatisfied with a recent click and collect item return. Despite spending £2.80 to return an item I found out only way replacement could be dealt with is through click and collect. I LIVE 100 MILES FROM MY NEAREST DECATHLON. someone needs to get a thinking cap on. I have spent hundreds of pounds in your stores all over Europe over a 15 year period.

The reason that your replacement was required to be sent to the store was because your original order was a click and collect order and we are unable to change between different order types. We have since refunded you the full amount so if you wish to have the item still you can place a new order and select delivery to your home address. Second time ordering online. From submitting order to it being in store for collection took 9 days which in my opinion is very slow. Despite all items being "in stock" when ordering, I later received an email stating one of the items was unavailable and to go go online to amend my order. I tried this but the website wouldnt allow me to amend the order. Once the remaining items were ready to collect, the member of staff at the store only gave me one small parcel. I asked if this was all as I had ordered a set of football goals. She said that it was everything and the rest would be in separate order. I then pointed out that the parcel she gave me had parcel 2/2 on it. I had to ask her to go and look again, which she did, looking at the small soft parcels first. I then asked her to look at the boxes as a set of goalposts are likely to be larger and heavier than the smaller parcels. I am now reluctant to order from Dacathlon online as it is slow and didt provide me with what I was after. My experience with Sport Direct is far better, both for home deliveries and collect in store.

Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry that you experienced problems with your order. Many of our items come from warehouses in France which is why delivery times can be longer but the estimated delivery date reflects this. Although we try and keep our stock levels accurate the system can take time to update after an order is placed. We try and notify all customers as soon as the problem is noticed and give options to make changes or be refunded. The email sent specifies you must contact customer service to do this therefore you were refunded as we did not receive any contact. Decathlon seem to be an attentive supplier. They certainly respond rapidly. They offer a wide range of items within their field. I'd recommend them to a friend.

The age old adage comes to mind, 'you get what you pay for'. I bought a pair of waders for a third of the price as those from Decathlon, but the ones from Decathlon are many, many times better.

i called to check availability and staff were extremely helpful. The item I purchased was excellent both in terms of suitability and value for money. the refund arrangement for a further item I purchased was excellent - the long return period much appreciated as Decathlon is not that local to me

I was happy with the items from Decathlon, however I'd paid extra for courier delivery by DHL as these items were required for a kayaking training session on a specific date. DHL failed to deliver in time, firstly claiming they could not locate my address, then secondly a day later stating delivery could be made at 8pm on the date required. The items were required for 6pm. This is the reason I have not purchased from Decathlon since. Whilst happy with the Decathlon service, the extra paid for the courier and failure to deliver in time soured the experience and has put me off using Decathlon online again. Customer service very poor. Staff not interested. Promised to call me back months ago....no response. Very disappointed.
