“I had to send everything that I ordered back first time as your size guide was completely wrong, i.e. size guide showed UK medium top was 100-103cm, however when both the base layer and jersey arrived the label read medium 92-95cm. However your customer service department replied to my email very quickly and arranged for me to return all items. I reordered the large size and the jersey fits great, however the base layer is still too small; I can’t be bothered returning them again so shall give them to my wife as a Christmas present (only joking). So in conclusion, customer services top of the class, size guide needs improving.”

“I bought a Kemmel mountain bike from your Braehead store in August 2015 and am very happy with it. It is a basic model but well made and at £85 is exceptional value. I ordered and paid for it online for pick-up at the store. I duly received an e-mail and picked up the bike. It was fully assembled and ready to go which impressed me further. I took out a loyalty card at the time of pick-up also. A few days later I received an e-mail stating that as I had not collected the bike the order would be cancelled and I would have the purchase price refunded to my card. I telephoned the store during working hours but nobody ever answered the phone so I left a message with my name and number and a brief outline of what had happened. Nobody has ever returned my call and I don't seem to have a refund so I can only assume that all is well. I did worry a little that I could potentially have a bike that I had not actually paid for. I would stress that all members of staff whom I have spoken to were very nice and very efficient - it is just the automated side of things which let me down here. I would be interested in any feedback from this? I have always liked your products and prices but my latest experience was a little off-putting.”

“My full face snorkel mask is absolutely brilliant, so much more comfortable to wear than a conventional mask, and it makes breathing so much more natural. I would recommend this product to anyone who uses a snorkel.”

“It would be useful to highlight that a pump for air tent is not included and to offer an option to buy the correct one at the same time. (Trying to locate the pump shown on the instructions in the tent bag was difficult as the store staff answering the telephone did not appear to have any technical knowledge to offer the right alternatives to pump not in stock. In fact, they were not aware that the pump was no longer available and was replaced by a new model which was in stock. It took several phone calls, finally to your customer services , to be given this information and a trip to the originally contacted store to get the pump just in time for our trip.)”

“Loved the style of jacket and the click and collect was fast and easy but there must be mass disorganisation at the warehouse because my 3 in 1 jacket was delivered to store with only one part of the jacket. Annoyingly by the time I had picked the jacket up it was out of stock for reorder so the only thing the sales assistant could do was refund my money. very disappointing and annoying.”

“I expect more from a store the size of Decathlon. Although I enjoy shopping there and enjoy the value for money, any time I have been there (Belfast Store) it always looks like it could do with a good tidy up! Sometimes it is hard to find what you are looking for because of this - stock always appears to be cluttered or in the wrong places. In fairness this applies mainly to clothing - areas with eqiupment seem to be ok. Then there's the website which never really seems to tell you the correct in-store stock levels. One more than one occasion I have made the 30 mile journey to collect something that according to the website is in plentyful supply only to find it isn't actually in stock. Come on guys, get it right - a good store being ruined by silly mistakes!”

“My first time using your online ordering system was a disaster firstly one of w items we ordered we received a message to say out of stock we ordered an alternative with a different ref to be told it was the same item but that the ref number was the same! This one item delayed our whole order also when I came to your store to collect the other items the item i couldnt get was on your shelfs .”
