“Great value for money. Biggest problem is with website some items missing full descriptions and some delivery times are long. Also sizes in horse products tend to come up small some full size items I have ordered don't fit my horse and this is the largest you do.”

“Can't really fault decathlon. Excellent bike! I love it and have had plenty of use out of it already! Slight delay in shipment, rang up and issue was resolved the next day. DHL were very poor however. Over a week to get it delivered when it was meant to be next day. Took a day off work to receive the bike only to be told it wouldn't be delivered that day. They refused to deliver on weekends and the closest day for re delivery was the following Tuesday. I asked to change shipment address and was told it would be an extra day. 3 days later the bike finally turns up. The box was in a very beaten state and there was a slight scratch on the bars. Other than that I am extremely happy with my purchase!”

“I am a long standing customer of decathlon, but recently I have noticed that the sizing of men's clothing is totally inconsistent. I used to be able to order XL and know that it would fit, but now it can be too large or too small. There are also size differences between sports and between the same item that is produced by different manufacturers. For example I ordered a XL baselayer top in the cycling range and also a XL baselayer top in the skiing range. The skiing top was more like 3XL. This makes ordering online difficult and inefficient. Surely something can be done about this”

“Being disabled, I was looking for a pair of jodhpurs which I could get in to and out of without assistance. Decathlon gave me the information I needed to decide on an option for me and suppled the item of my choice quickly and efficiently.”

“I ordered my new road bike which of course I was very excited about. The website was very helpful and assisted me in my choice. Unfortunately the delivery let everything down.. I placed my order in the normal way and the website indicating that I should receive my new bike within a few days. After the few days I did not receive my bike so I rang to find out what was happening. I was then told that there were no more in stock currently in this country and they would have to arrange one from overseas. I did ask why I was not told this as I could have ordered an alternative as I needed the bike. I was told that this should take another few days. after waiting again for the few days I called again and was told that there was a fault with the bike so it had to be sent back and another one would be sent in the next few days. I missed the event that I wanted to take part in The bike did eventually arrive and I am happy with the bike itself just delivery ruined the experience and consequently made me miss the biking event”

“We love Decathlon products but live miles from a store. The drawback that puts me off ordering is that returns or exchanges are expensive, not easy and it takes forever to receive a credit. I buy sports equipment for my children and it is important that shoes are a good fit. It is not always possible to judge the correct size and so exchanges will happen and need to be easier.”

“I really like the Kalenji range, I run several times a week so I wanted to get more running gear for warmer weather. Delivery was quick & everything I ordered arrived as expected, great value for money. I have noticed in the ladies range, the sizing is very small. I would usually wear a size 10 top but like to get a size 12 for a little bit more room, but the size 12 (EU 40) tops were very tight fitting.”

“It's fine as long as you are familiar with the sizing system they use, as you can be caught out.. Only used the on-line shop a couple of times, but upon boith occasions, it seems to take around 4 to 5 days before they dispatch the items.”

“Initia delivery was good and products are great (as described), but when I came to replace 2 items with a different size it took a very long time to turn that around and get a refund on the 3rd item!”

“Pretty good from start to end. There was one item that arrived which was a size that didn't appear on the website (ordered M but received S/M). Called you customer service expecting a long wait and lots of wrangling to get it changed. However, call was answered quickly, guys knew what they were talking about and didn't question getting a replacement sent out immediately (no delivery cost and refunded me the % of original delivery cost for the wrong item). Rest of order was fine and surprisingly good quality considering how inexpensive it was. Thanks!”

“Good customer services, returns process was different, I didn't like that I had to wait for the produces to be sent to the warehouse before I could receive my refund but then again I couldn't complain as I did receive 1.”

“Very cheap, fast delivery, 4 pairs of swimming shorts bought for myself and my 14 year old son (I bought large and small for him), please be aware they are very are VERY SMALL sizes, my son ended up keeping the large shorts I bought for myself, but it was very easy to exchange and refund the small pairs.”
