“Scamgate, seller sent a blank card in place of the product ordered, dispute meant I only got a partial refund as they said I received the parcel.

“Ordered soccer shoes after a month reply to seller and he said they was shipped. The tracking number was changed a couple times which never showed where the package was at. Then received a small envelope from over seas with a tissue in it. Thinking that’s the proof they sent something. So after filling out claims they said item was shipped and received. The dispute experience was a joke I had tons of evidence that I didn’t get product but wanted something from post office that doesn’t exist. Total scam stay far away.”

I ordered leather sneaker shoes USD$138. Delivery took ages. When they finally arrived, they were the worst quality shoes ive ever seen. The whole inside part of the shoe lifts out (insole and beyond). Absolute RUBBISH. No heel support.
They also sell the exact same shoe (non leather) for USD$58

“Ordered piano accordion straps. They are in very poor condition to the extent that one fell apart when I lifted it out of the packaging. They are obviously second-hand, worn, badly scuffed and mildewed. The smell was really bad. After thorough washing I have salvaged one of them but the buckle is rusted and the strap almost worn through so it won’t last long either. A total rort. I would not recommend this company at all.”

The same day at 20:41 I requested the cancellation. Because my wife, unbeknownst to me, gave me that article I had ordered.
dhgate foresees in its regulation that if the goods have not been shipped it is possible to request cancellation.
The seller replied that he refused my cancellation request.
Today 20/09/2019 the goods have not yet been shipped.
I wrote to the seller "baixiangguo" but he replied that if I want the money back I have to reject the goods when he arrives at my home. If I do as he says i will have to pay the shipping and return costs. This is an injustice because the "baixiangguo" seller states that what matters is customer satisfaction.
This is not true. It is not true. The most important thing for him is money.
Even dhgate did nothing for me.

“I ordered several power tools, which appeared very good value... I followed the delivery process, but the tools never arrived, while the tracking orders supplied showed that all were delivered to other NZ customers. I had to wait to make a claim to the shipper, and turned down partial settlements etc, and finally got my money back for 15 failed shipments some 9 weeks after paying for my orders... 100's of emails later!
It seems these sellers were actually DHGate themselves, who provided genuine tracking numbers for other NZ orders (only DHGate could have done this). However their customer service system allows them to hold on to your money for 2 months, and I am guessing that many people accept the partial refunds, so they continue to make money by replicating other suppliers websites, never ever intending to deliver anything!”

“I have ordered 6 times from DH Gate. 3 of them already delivered to the other states where I don't live. Seems like rest of the three are in process and tracking shows that they are also not going to make it to my house since they landed in LA or FL.
After talking to DHGate folks, they did refund for two of my orders but have to wait until the time expires for those other deliveries and then file a dispute to get your money back!! Most of the time, I order only Tools like Power tools etc.”

I then checked my bank account and saw that they had taken out the money immediately after I contacted them. On top of that, I never received the dress and contacted DHGate who opened an investigation saying I have to track the package myself, which I found it was lost in Baltimore and sent back to seller I guess. I still keep getting the run around so my time limit will expire. This company is a Chinese Foreign scam company which does not go by American ethics. You will never be able to return anything without a fight and they sell cheaply made products. The good reviews here??? All i can say is read the broken English. Fake reviews!!! I will be reporting them to the fair trades commission if I don't receive my refund.”

“I ordered an umbrella on DHGate 08/01/2019. After many back and forth communications and trying to get information on the delivery (it was a birthday gift) and paying for expedited shipping, my item did not arrive. I did not even receive a shipping number until 08/07/2019 after I had complained. The shipping number never left China. I opened a dispute and the seller refused to refund my money until I changed the reason for the refund request (they did not have the item and told me that they could not get it but they wanted me to say to say that "Items not now required ’ or "concerned about customs seizure" rather than saying they did not have the item) And they continue to list the item on the website even though they do not have it. Contacted DHGate Customer service and a refund was supposedly granted on 08/15/2019. Got a second message on 08/20/2019 saying that the refund transaction had been completed (even though the previous message said that would happen within 2 days). It is now 09/09/2019 and I still have not received a refund to date. Messaged them again today. So.... we continue to wait. Be ware of ordering from this site for any substantial amount of money. Consequently, it is worth noting that a t-shirt I ordered for my daughter arrived without issue and was the perfect item. Buyer be ware.”
