I have just been messaging on chat with regards to replacing my gas cooker due to the grill not working. I was informed that I would need to arrange someone independently to disconnect my old cooker and reconnect my new gas cooker, I have been with D& G for many years and never had to provide my own engineer. I must say the service has been extremely poor this time. I have a policy up for renewal for my fridge freezer I may have to cancel.

The engineer was very polite phoned us on the day to tell us the time he would arrive, he repair the washing machine told us what parts he replaced. Thankyou Valerie.

The person who came round did a good job. He suggested that I took out a policy that would cover all my Bosch products and I agreed. However they told me the bank would not accept the direct debit form. The bank told me that the forms were incorrectly completed and Domestic and General should resubmit. I told them but don't think they have done this as I had an email saying the policy had been cancelled. I am annoyed that they did not discuss this with me before closing the policy but they are going to lose money!

First class service, My washing machine had to have a service but when the man came to do it he told me what he could not fix it. But because I had it insured I was given a new one

So they tell you 48 to 72 hours to review your case and still waiting. No one has even looked at it. The manufacturer keeps sending the wrong item each time and the customer has to suffer the consequences.

Great service. Came out to repair fridge freezer once, on second call-out engineer was planning to repair but the cost was obviously greater than the value of the appliance so L&G provided a replacement no questions asked

I needed a replacement part for my fridge. Unusual model, fridge in a drawer. The gentleman on the phone could not find the appropriate part so sent an engineer who came promptly, identified the part and arranged a replacement which was delivered timeously. I was delighted with the service I received.

Initial call was great, got me set up for my washer and dryer. The repair was done quickly on my washer. But then constantly bombarded with add on sales, insurance etc etc even after saying numerous times i dont need anymore cover, ive already got house insurance still got called. So ended up blocking the number as sick of the harassment
