“This is my second purchase from Armor Concepts. I bought three door jam Pro Max armor’s and one sliding glass door armor five or six years ago for my house. I have now purchased another sliding glass door armor for my camper. I highly recommend Armor Concepts for anyone who wants to secure their house, camper, or even a shed. I would like to see a product for the windows next. Thank you for such good products”

“Received the outswing latch protectors. No instructions of any kind. Your videos do not cover this in any detail. The escutions for latch & deadbolt have to be ground or filed out of the latch plate. The brick moulding outside has to be mortised out,since there were no spacers mentioned or included. Called last week no one answered phone at your company so I left message explaining part of the problem. No one has returned call yet.”

August, We are sorry that you had such a bad experience. We will make sure to revise our description to insure that customers know that this product must be used with a flush mount exterior door. This is a resale product for us and installation is pretty straight forward so we have not had many requests for instructions. With your installation requirement, I can understand your frustration. “My home was built in the early 1960s. The door jamb was framed differently in places. The original door lock was installed off-center closer to the outside of the door. Deadbolt locks were installed in the early 1970s. When I put on the door guards I had to take some wood off the outside of the jamb to get the door to close. I had to use some 4-inch deck screws in some places in the hinge guards because of the framing. The deadbolt spacing did not match the spots on the jamb plate with the original door lock. I got everything very satisfactorily installed, but it took more than 5 minutes.”

“Design is well executed. Parts are high quality. Easy to install once I got a drill bit. My drill was not powerful enough without predrilled holes, so required a drill bit longer than the included screws. I am very happy with the product (and hope I never find out if it works.)”

“I liked the product when I viewed it on the web. Unfortunately, when I ordered the product I was sent a bent box with a bent item that arrived in an undamaged shipping carton. That tells me that the person that pulled my order didn't appear to care that they were sending out a likely damaged item. So I get the damaged order ad then have to spend the time to submit a return request, box the item back up, head over to the UPS site and drop off the item and now wait for a replacement order to be re-sent. All of which could have been avoided if I wasn't sent a damaged order. So far, not really a fan. Peter Tuppeny”

“Everything fit after I took off the door frame strike plates that the deadbolt and doorknob extensions fit into. The paper instructions weren't very clear, so I found some YouTube videos that better showed me how to install the parts. The door feels a lot more secure, but it is a VERY TIGHT FIT. When I close it, I have to use some elbow grease. Also, the doorknob extension now collides with the wooden door jam causing a black mark and I think it will eventually wear away the wood of the jam at that location.”

“I have been trying to get an item returned and the correct color that I paid for sent to me.This has been going on for a week with no personal contact from anyone in your company just empty prerecorded promises that the customer is important. And your automated emails are no help either.Please check my order and get the color that I paid for sent out to me please.I also need a return shipping label sent to me where i can ship the wrong color that was sent to me back to you.I didn't make the mistake your shipper did. “I was shipped the wrong items in my order--half of the products were the wrong stuff. I notified the company via their email system 5 days ago and haven't heard anything meaningful in response. I did get an automated acknowledgment that they received my email but no follow-up since then. See photos below. I ordered a white item and received a bronze item. That won't work here.”

“My order was supposedly shipped on Feb 2. - seven days ago. I have not seen nor heard a thing about it yet. I have both called and emailed, and no one ever answers or responds. Your email says "track your package", but I have no idea how the package was sent, who the carrier is, or when it was scheduled to be delivered. Our construction began on Feb. 7, and is scheduled to be completed on Feb 14. Unfortunately, your customer service is completely nonexistent! Our package has not been delivered, so I really don't know how to answer your following questions. 831 626-3048 just in case anyone cares to give us a call!”
