If I could give zero I would!! It is not just that one parcel was delivered to someone else about a mile away and I am still waiting for the other. But when I simply want to talk to a human being to find out what is going on I have to pay a standard charge of £6 !!!!!!!!! I am still on hold now as I write this but will not hang up as that will be no parcel and £6 down!!!

In these uncertain times that we're living in, DPD are still providing an excellent & prompt service. Their drivers are always polite, friendly & helpful. On the morning of your delivery, they notify you about your delivery time slot & you can track your delivery. Thank you.

Please do not use this company!! They continue to use COVID as an excuse 5 months later instead of notifying their customers before paying for shipment that their packages take two weeks to arrive. They’ve put me in a terrible position and had my package in their possession for a week before it even left the country.

A zero is too good for this company. I had an urgent delivery needed for an event I was attending next day and was leaving at 4am to drive there. My Mac failed so this was a new one needed to do a big presentation. The DPD driver went to a house about 20 metres away as we saw him (not for the first time I may add as he done the same about 2 months ago and surely knew where we stayed this time). Next thing I get a text to say he tried to deliver but we were not in and a photo of my neighbours door, which was also strange as their car was in the driveway so I called right away and explained the urgency as I was leaving at 4am next day and needed it with me for an event I was going to. The agent said she will phone the driver (at best he could only have been 1/2 mile away) and she said she spoke to him and gave my mobile number and he would call soon as he only had one more drop and return with the parcel. 1 hour later and no call, I then speak to DPD on chat as the telephone number is useless who tell me the parcel is back at the depot???? My house 1/2 mile - depot 30 miles. I explain I need it for an critical and urgent event I was attending and I was promised the driver would return but was told time again, nothing we can do the depot is closed. So I was clearly LIED to, the driver couldn't be bothered to find our house that has a big sign on the gate with the house name right on the road side, he clearly couldn't be bothered to phone and come back 1/2 mile to deliver my critical parcel, and at 8pm the person on chat said nothing we can do and closed the chat. Must have been end of the shift for Ritesh in India . I even said that this parcel was so critical I would go to the depot and asked for someone to go there and get the parcel. Nope we wont do that for you I was told. They didn't care it was critical. They didn't care that I will lose the contract. They didn't care that the driver didn't bother to get in touch and didn't return, but kept being told "we can deliver it tomorrow" even when I said this was way too late and in reality you could stick the parcel in the bin now if you don't deliver it all I got was "we can deliver it tomorrow" I was even told because of the problem we will upgrade it to a Saturday delivery for you for free. WHAT REALLY!!!! oh that makes everything better then ( that was sarcasm DPD.) DPD don't care. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. The fact that they made a huge error, the fact that i was lied to, and the fact that they knew how critical it was, you would think they would try and make sure they resolve it but the same attitude came across - WE DONT CARE. DPD clearly don't care that this has cost me a huge contract as the event I was attending was for a large portion of work that I was certain to get but I had to present the concept and the scope of works as part of the process. This now means layoffs for some people because their jobs depended on the contract which I have had for a while now and which would have came if I could attend the event tomorrow but if you don't attend you don't get it because DPD are at best useless and liars. Update: Called the CS centre the following day to make a complaint and was told a manager will call you in 1 hour. Another lie as 3 hours later and no phone call. Got a text message with a new delivery slot and surprise surprise no delivery so I call AGAIN to be told I didn't want it delivered today and that I scheduled it for the following day. We that's another LIE DPD. If review websites were to praise your utter incompetence, your ability to lie through your teeth and your disgraceful work ethics then you get a 10/10 from me. Apparently a manager will call me in 1 hour but I am definitely not expecting that. After all with all the complete incompetent performance you have shown to date why will It change.

Multiple messages from DPD telling me delivery would be today. Took day off work and noticed at noon that tracking updated to show late next week as delivery date for a next day service. Waited 8 hours for a response guaranteed in 90 minutes. Issues happen but I see this with at least 50% of the parcels I receive via DPD.

Supposed to receive phone on day of launch but DPD had "technical issues " with the system and no deliveries where being made, something I had to contact my network provider for because I was unable to get through to DPD the ironic thing is they had a van deliver a parcel 3 doors away, so not only do they have the most unintuitive website they lie to their customers. Given another date in 3 days time but thats not even a guarantee their words

Day 1, parcels did not arrive in time slot, support chat said wait in although the online tracking app clearly showed driver heading back to depot. Day 2, one parcel delivered. other missing, driver Rafel said not my problem. Day 3 remaining parcel supposed to be on pre-10:30 arranged by sender. Contacted chat who said there was an 'operational issue' and to get the sender to request an internal investigation for my parcel. I suggested it was stolen. They said it was not stolen or lost but no movement due to operational issue. Have raised issue with sender and will avoid any company that use DPD to deliver their goods.

This is the second time that they have not delivered when they say. The excuse this time was that they could not find my house that's utter rubbish it has a huge number 60 on it. If you want excuses and not deliveries this is the firm for you

MULTIPLE times has my package been sent back because it "was left at a pickup point" because we could not be reached. However, my husband is in home office and is present the entire day, AND we recieved no notifcation of the package being dropped off somewhere else.

Really reliable. Send parcels to portugal regularly and they always receive them within a few days. Pleasant drivers who always arrive in the allotted time.

AVOID OR RISK HAVING THEM LOSING/STEALING YOUR GOODS AVOID OR RISK HAVING THEM LOSING/STEALING YOUR GOODS ! Used DPD local UK to ship goods from UK to Portugal (Parcel 15976810122024). Goods were last seen in their warehouse, only reachable by their staff, yet went missing. After a 2-month dispute with their staff, "due to their T&Cs I'm only eligible for 50 GBP compensation", out of the approx 2000 GBP original value of the goods. So dont use DPD since they don't keep an eye on your goods while in transit, and if they are lost due to incompetency or are stolen by their staff, you get NOTHING! Zero liability.

I worked as a driver, promised work only to find myself earning under minimum wage taking into account long hours worked. I worked at the Raunds branch where managers think they are God's. Only to find myself working 3/4 days a week. The real issue I have is the overpriced van rentals by dpd and when the van goes for service they still charge you for that rental period and expect you to hire a van to do their work. The issue I have is dpd has obtained a high court rit against me for repair claims to the van which I was paying insurance every month through there insurer. Be careful of these warthogs they will eat you alive if they could. Most of their profits they brag about comes from ripping off the people that are meant to be making them money, you should be very ashamed of yourselves.

How this company is still running? Why someone still purchase services from them? Have you read the reviews? I ordered a phone over £1000 and I am still waiting today will be 3rd attempt they try to deliver. It wasn’t me who choose them and will never be me. I was at home both times, waiting for them. No one bothered to deliver. They came to my flat, took picture of a broken lift (where I have 2 in the building) as a proof. Seriously? The second lift was working and they did not even bother to call the door bell. They have delivery do for over 100 people per day, this is all down to the company itself! Poor management. What is your actual purpose? To deliver or hit your other targets? Leave this market for someone who is willing to do the job. Waisting time and energy of people.

The worse customer service ever, they think are making us a favor and not the other way around. The staffs need more training to be more polite. I was trying to find out a delivery service for my business. Disgusting we need to come across some attitude.

I ordered a large mirror from Amazon on premium delivery. DPD sent it to Bournemouth carrier hub instead of Dudley which delayed delivery. When it was eventually delivered the driver refused to let me check the condition. When I picked the very large package up it was jingling. The mirror was broken into smithereens. DPD would not collect it to return to Amazon because they are not allowed to carry broken glass. I now have to sort how to dispose of this hazardous package without causing damage to myself and other people. VERY ANNOYED.

I have had so many issues with them, leaving parcels at a house that is blatantly not ours, claiming they rang and we weren't in etc etc. None compares to the latest issue, however. I placed an order with Adidas yesterday, as I have done many times over the last few months. I entered in my home address as the delivery address. I then get an email, saying my parcel is ready to pick up - at Matalan! I ring DPD and the guy actually told me that I had informed them of a change to the delivery address, from my home to this random Matalan store. This is a blatant lie - and they cannot provide any communication that shows this - because it didn't happen. In fact, I then rang Adidas, who contacted DPD themselves, and the person they spoke to said it was DPD's mistake, and something had gone wrong on their system, causing the address to change. However, the upshot of this is as follows: I placed an order for someone's birthday that will now not arrive. DPD are apparently unable to redirect a parcel to a different address, once it's been delivered to a store. Adidas won't refund me (or send out a replacement order) until after 20 days has elapsed, and I have failed to pick up the order from Matalan. So I am left with no order, with the money having been taken from my account, all because of a mistake by DPD. A totally inexplicable mistake at that. Oh, and this courier gets such good reviews on Trustpilot, because they flag all the negative ones and Trustpilot takes them down.

I'm having a terrible experience trying to get an expensive item delivered. Saw driver trying to deliver my parcel to a neighbour then leaving yesterday. I called out to check if it was for my address and he said 'no'. DPD apologised eventually, after sending me a message that I did not answer the door. The picture taken as their evidence was not my house number and I was assured it would definitely be delivered today. I have just been told the parcel was 'missed' when loading the van this morning so it will be delivered tomorrow. I have no faith in this company. I cannot get through to speak to a person and they are not following their complaints policy & procedures.
