Their customer care is among the lowest quality ever encountered. They also claimed attempted delivery two times without actually ringing the bell. Will avoid using them again.

Great and reliable service. Their application is superb and I have never been let down by their deliveries! The best delivery company out there!

No stars - 75% failure rate No stars I sent 4 parcels via the DPD app in the weeks before Christmas and only one arrived on its own. Problems with parcel 1: Sent to an address in Essex arrived in Liverpool. The recipients were a company who knew my husband and by doing some research on their computer, rang him and arranged for it to be returned at our cost. Still no refund. Problems with parcel 2: Sent to an address in Leighton Buzzard arrived in Leamington Spa at the son of our next door neighbour. The first thing we knew was when they knocked on the door and handed the parcel back to us having found our address inside the box when they opened it. Problems with parcel 3: Sent to Germany, arrived in Germany but was stuck at local depot. Took two weeks and countless phone calls by myself and the recipients in Germany to the local depot, to get this finally delivered. The standard of service speaks for itself.

Crappy company. Charlie couldn't even be bothered to deliver my parcel, taking a picture of the back gate where I put out rubbish. Useless company .

DPD had two parcels to deliver to me on two separate days. Although we were in the house we didn’t hear anyone knock or ring the bell so the parcels were returned to the depot . This happened my daughter too with one delivery. If the drivers had any sense they would see cars in the drive, lights in house etc. To go to the back door would surely be the sensible thing to do which would save DPD money as they wouldn’t have to redeliver.

Atrocious service. Drivers repeatedly lie about attempted deliveries saying “sorry we missed you “ posting a picture of a black square as supposed evidence of visiting our property. They are a totally untrustworthy company. AVOID.

I got the obligatory email from DPD today stating Gurwinder will deliver your Emma Bridgewater Parcel TODAY 8th January 2021 between 12:37-13:37 so I waited in, but the next contact I had from DPD was to say your DPD driver Gurwinder has delivered your parcel today. As I hadn’t received anything from DPD I contacted them on their online chat but unfortunately it was just a robot chat service to start with, however when I got through to a person they were as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike as they had a book of excuses. Despite me waiting in all day the driver didn’t bother to come to my house instead he had just left my parcel with a neighbour as I had authorised this on my account preferences, and if I didn’t like it I should contact my seller to resolve things, this statement is just pure lies as I don’t have an account with DPD or will I ever have! Nor would I authorise such an option. This is just a poor excuse for a driver who can’t be bothered to look for a named house, I suppose its difficult to find the correct address when there is six houses in a road, maybe its time for a career change.

According to your tracker my parcel was delivered on 30th dec . Can assure you it was not delivered to my address as not yet rec. Have emailed dpd on the 31st and this is now the 6th jan. have not heard anything back. Poor customer service. Im now going through the company I purchased the goods from to try and get a refund. Will never use a company that has dpd as their carrier. Yes mistakes can be made and have given you a chance to do that. However DPD have not any concern for the customer when they make no attemp to contact me back.

Dpd is a joke, got a text saying Callum will deliver your parcel today at between 5-6, never came so checked tracking, it says parcel delivered. Still waiting. Now been informed to contact sender so they can start an investigation. Why????? Dpd driver messed up not them. So what's the point of paying for delivery if it don't get delivered!! Probably expecting me to go to who's ever door they delivered it to!!! I have stopped buying from sites that use Dpd to deliver

Sitting in my office looking out the window (having come in specially to receive a delivery). No sign of DPD. Next thing I know I get an email from them saying "sorry we missed you yada yada , won't be back today.". Then when you try and find a number to call them it turns out they are another stupid, pathetic organisation that hides behind a website with absolutely no means of contacting them. Utter rubbish & an absolute waste of my time. Seems like its not a unique experience. Avoid.

Had arranged for a collection to return goods for a badly needed refund, was given a time slot only to receive a message saying “sorry we missed you”. Nobody had been to attempt to collect, I know this because at the time the driver claimed to have missed me I was standing at my window overlooking my courtyard and front door trying to get my parrot to be less afraid of what’s out the window. I phoned to complain, the girl on the phone contacted the driver who stated, falsely that I wasn’t in and then said he’d be back within twenty minutes. After forty minutes I phoned against see if he needed directions but this girl couldn’t get hold of the driver and just said I’d have to wait until the end of the day to see if he came back, which of of course he didn’t, and then half way through my next question hung up on me.

Just received and email confirming the delivery. but no delivery. we are in full lockdown and was in. no attempt to ring the bell. No way to contact DPD on the website to inform them. Very poor website and service. Three days later we stopped them going to wrong location, and just have us the heavy package, no attempt or offer to deliver it properly.

Terrible company, not recommend to anyone. I have sent two parcels to Europe, in the next few days status shows they were delivered. In fact, they returned both the parcels to the hub (call center could not tell exactly where are the parcels- please, note I have opened the lost item case two weeks ago and they still didn’t provide me with the updates), as well as they can’t explain the reason. I was sure the parcels were delivered to my customers. As a result, I made refunds and didn’t get my parcels back. The worst client service I have ever met. This is obviously not the best company, rather the worst one.

Was tracking parcel on app telling me my parcel was 15 minutes away, refreshed and it tells me parcels has been missed ? DPD = don’t press doorbell? Ring to find out less than a minute from delivery time to be told driver has left and due to current circumstances can not return Sorry but just because your busy doesn’t make it right . And by the look of other reviews I’m not the only one . Hopefully will never need to rely on DPD ever again and if given a choice I would go elsewhere to another company that doesn’t use them

They made a mistake by returning my parcel from a drop off shop to the depot within one day of delivery. The parcel sat back at the depot so long it missed Christmas and I had to go out and buy a replacement present. The history of the parcel was horrendous and they keep fobbing me off with no proper apology.

Dpd is the worst courier company ever to disgrace the roads. I have no idea what these people are doing, but whatever it is, it has nothing to do with delivering parcels or customer service. I've had parcels not being delivered because i wasn't home (i work from home), or because the parcel could not be found and was considered lost. Right now i'm still waiting for a parcel whoses status keeps changing from 'out for delivery' to 'received at depot'. Probably another lost parcel.

Waited for parcel in my flat all day, checking the delivery updates constantly. Suddenly, it says that I missed the delivery. The driver had simply taken a photo of MY FLAT BUILDING and then left. Didn't knock, ring my flat, anything...just showed up and left without informing me at all. Now I have to schedule a re-delivery, but I will be working full-time/will not be home to pick up. Very frustrating and disappointing, will be avoiding DPD in the future.
