DPD were delivering on behalf of Amazon Prime. I was out when they delivered so they took parcel away and left message that it would be delivered the next day. The next day I had a message to say it was delayed and would be delivered the next day. This did not happen so I tracked - back in depot. Spoke to DPD advisor - could not be sent out again without Amazon raising an investigation. Spent hour on phone. Amazon deny this the case. Totally frustrating! I had to cancel my order with Amazon in the end.

It’s bad customer service because I was coming from outside. DPD driver and me met outside my house but in front of my door I tried to get my parcel But he didn’t gave me, to saying that first open your door then I will give you parcel. I felt embarrassed and told him check my photo ID because in email notification DPD said that “our driver will see your photo ID” but he didn’t listen me and so controversial. I rejected to take my parcel and even I cancelled my order from seller as well. It’s DPD’s stupidity.

I WILL NEVER USE DPD AGAIN!! I dropped a parcel (a Mother day present) off at my local Argos, for 'DPD online' collection on Sunday the 7th of March. On Wednesday (3 days later), the parcel was still at Argos. I went down to the branch to ask why it had not been collected yet. I was told that a DPD driver had twice refused to take all of the parcels, as there were too many, but he had now picked it up. On Thursday the 11th, my Mum received a parcel from DPD, but NOT the one we sent her! Somebody had stuck the wrong bar code on her parcel and somebody else's parcel, so she got a box of herbs and vegetables delivered to her instead! The box had two different address labels on it (the label the customer had applied and DPD's), but instead of the courier using common sense and questioning it, he delivered the wrong parcel to my Mum (he dropped it on her doorstep, took a photo and drove off). To cut a long story short, I then spent over 3 hours on the phone and 'live chat', speaking to four different people, who although they were helpful, just passed the buck. The final person that I spoke to said "I confirm that I have passed all the details and our internal team will investigate it now and will try to fix it ASAP. We should have a reply within two working days". As yet (Mothers Day), my Mum has still not received her present & card! This problem was a simple case of cross labeling a parcel, and lack of COMMON SENSE from the courier. It would have been very easy to resolve quickly and in time for Mothers Day as we knew exactly where my Mum's parcel was due to DPD's tracking system. If someone at customer service actually gave a damn, they would have spoken to the DPD branch who had the parcel and arranged for it to be sent to the correct address the following day (Friday). Instead they just passed it on to someone else to be investigated "within two working days". DISGUSTING!! DPD should be ashamed of themselves for ruining what should have been a special day for my Mum.

If you want a 'don't give a dam about you' attitude, use DPD There is no option to rate 'No Stars' The delivery driver left the 'We tried to deliver your parcel' note in the safe place I had requested...Why did he not leave the actual parcel? When I rang to find out why my parcel had not been delivered, the automated message said 'The reason your parcel was not delivered was because there was no- one there to sign for it' but the email I had received from DPD that morning had stated, You do not need to sign for your parcel' I needed the contents of my parcel for a deadline, which was obviously missed. The parcel turned up a day later right out side my front door when I was not at home, no signature needed! I had paid £6.95 for faster delivery. Phone calls to DPD are met with an automated message about your parcel with no opportunity for you to speak to anyone, 'Live chat' has automated responses on a loop that have no relevance to your enquiry, there is no where to contact them or complain. Business's using DPD beware.. they are ruining the reputation of your company with their 'don't give a jot about you' attitude to customer service and this is reflected back on your company. In future, if I know a company is using DPD as their courier service I will not use that company.

My goods arrived so late that it caused my business £1250 to date. I pleaded with the customer service who kept promising me next day delivery with text confirmation - that means nothing, my parcel still did not get delivered. DPD customer service staff were so unprofessional and inadequate is unbelievable. They have Duty Managers, some of them are Asians (sorry to mentioning this even though I am an Asian myself) are so immature , unintelligent & heartless that they are incapable of come up with a solution. DPD CEO, Dwain McDonald, is the same. Though Dwain is not unintelligent otherwise he would not be the CEO, but he just does not care or know the meaning of customer service! He only sees £££$$$ signs. My biggest regret that I took a chance with DPD....never again will I use DPD. I request you NOT to use them because DPD just bad news, brings misery and nothing else! Avoid DPD at any cost.

I sent a parcel with contents worth over £500.00 with insurance... It never reached its destination and is now lost... I have been fighting to claim my costs back now for over 3 months and DPD will not pay me for my losses... They will not respond and each time hang up the phone... I have several voicemail from them saying they will get me an update about my parcel but never respond. I have taken this to trading standards and now in the process of court action.

Sent a small package to Bulgaria, didn't arrive, 3 weeks later I try to contact customer service to report it missing. tracking just stops. no response, then after 2 emails I'm told it will be passed to the relevant team, no further communication . 5 weeks after posting the item, I use resolver.com to complain, I get a response, but that's all. no action is taken 7 weeks from posting the item I escalate my claim on Resolver. In 12 days from now I will escalate it to the SEO .

Order a product to be delivered by 2nd January 21, as of today, 11th March, despite unanswered emails, phone calls unanswered, until today, when I get told “I’m not trade in export parcels”. I’ve got no idea when if ever I will get this parcel, it would have been quicker for me to walk and collect the parcel from the supplier and to walk back home again. This company and its customer service is an absolute joke. Giving them 1 star is to much, zero would be better.

Absolutely terrible company. Second time I've had problems with these and only used them twice! Waited in for a parcel only to receive a message saying delivery was attempted when it clearly wasn't. The driver had issues using the buzzer to our block of flats but didnt even try to call my mobile. Avoid at all costs.

Three times a parcel was sent via DPD, and three times it was sent back without any explanation or information what so ever. To make matters worse, it proved to be absolutely impossible to get in touch with the company, as the sender and I (the receiver) tried for weeks. Finally the sender lost all patience, and I now stand without the package that I paid a great deal of money for. By far the worst service ever.

They say delivery was attempted when it was not. Delivery times are randomly changed and zero proof of an actual delivery attempt is provided before a parcel is sent back. Customer service is completely unhelpful. Terrible!

DPD have lost 2 different consignments in 1 month, of £18,000 worth of customers equipment. Accounts manager Emma is rude and rarely responds. Emma then put our prices by 400% - So we had no opition but to change suppliers.

I will never use or recommend DPD in the future. Having paid postage of £12 for a parcel to go to Germany I have now had to pay another €8 of which only €2 is import tax. The rest is an admin fee. Nowhere did it state extra charges would be applied before my parcel would be delivered. For a parcel with a value of £10 it has now cost me £20 in postage. Total rip off!!
