long story.. I ordered two phones on the 13th, one turned up so I got in contact on the 15th they said 10 days, I left it a couple days and contacted them then I got back in touch a couple days later and they changed it to 10-20 working days. They finally turned up on the 21st but they didn't knock they posted a letter saying they will be back tomorrow. it came the 22nd I was waiting in until 3pm and nothing turned up. my family member got in contact with someone and they said they forgot to put the parcel in the van. How can someone forget to put a parcel in a van when its their job! Just sill! the first and worst experience I have had with dpd. wouldn't recommend and would not have another delivery with them!

First attempted delivery, I was out (working). Okay no probs. Second time I gave them instructions to leave with neighbour, they didn't bother to try delivery at the neighbours. Ive requested a call back from them but Im not even going to wait for that! Ive sent an email to Sinead Croke, Director of customer experience, and I INSTANTLY received an email back (from....KEVIN) telling me that they have contacted the depot who will contact the driver to see if he can re deliver the item today, and apparently the responce they received has come back blank. Which I can only presume that the answer to the question was....NO HE CANT RE DELIVER THE ITEM. All in a space of 2 seconds! Automated emails that act as if they are live. Im expecting a new iPhone, I shall ring Carphone Warehouse to cancel the order. Hopefully they will think twice about using DPD. Im a postman and I really think folk should use the Royal Mail. If you are having problems with DPD then you should complain to the people using them, not DPD...they don't give a damn.

I rarely leave reviews for companies as I frankly don't have the time to waste, however my recent experience with DPD has been absolutely disgusting. I've used the company 4 times, 2 using the drop-shop service and 2 using the door-to-door service. On both occasions using the drop-shop the parcel just wasn't picked up, I had to call the shop a week after collection SHOULD have happened and have them leave an urgent note for the driver the next day, only then did they bother to collect my parcel. My most recent order was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago, however for whatever reason it wasn't. I contacted the live chat team to discuss it and was given the standard "1-2 day response time". Then coincidentally the status of the parcel was changed to Delivered and signed for by the recipient. Shortly after I spoke to said recipient and they hadn't received the parcel after all, so back to the chat team I went. I was then fed a bundle of lies from chat agent "Emily", who stated she'd opened a claim for us and requested proof of signature (on checking our account, no claim had been raised). She also stated the following: 12:33:49 PM [Emily] Sorry I've actually just been told that *recipients name* is on the phone to us at the moment - he's talking to a member of the team who will sort this out for him The above was a complete lie and she must have taken me for a fool. I spoke to the recipient once again and they hadn't been on the phone to DPD at all. I then tried to get back onto the live chat, but coincidentally all of my chats were cancelled stating "no one was available", even though I'd worked my way down through the clearly visible queue. I can handle parcels getting lost, I can handle parcels not being delivered on time, but only if the company dealing with it is going to be honest and help resolve it. DPD have shown that they will happily lie to their customers to get out of a sticky situation and provide no help in resolving their issues. No wonder they have such shocking reviews. At present I have no idea where this parcel is.

This company was difficult to get hold of and did not resolve my issue. They advertise time slots on date of delivery but failed to adhere to that, on one of the deliveries where i had been given an AM time slot i had to contact them in the afternoon to only be told that they were understaffed in the warehouse and so would not be delivering that day. I presume they would not have told me themselves unless i had contacted them. The delivery driver damaged my item and property upon delivery and was rude and uncommunicative and DPD offered no recompense or even apology for this.

I would give zero stars if I could. Unhelpful customer service i spend £5 on different nr and is the same robot costumer service Delivery has yet to arrive after 2 days of 'trying' to deliver. Twice the driver said there was no one in when I had been in all day waiting.

If I could score zero I would! Delivery rearranged without reason or request. Locked in a cage they tell me, collect it from the depot yourself. As a favour we can get it to you a day late... A favour! Total ineptitude! No apology no reason... No clue!

This is one of the worst delivery companies. They refused to hand the parcel to my cleaner and when I called they asked me to pay for another upgrade to have my business flyers delivered the next morning. I explained it was their mistake and I need by the early morning after. They refused and eventually gang up on me

Continue to be the worst. Over the last 1 month of parcels (Kent/London area) I have had the following issues: 1) Delivered to my door but not to me/anyone from my house, no note left saying where it was delivered and apparently signed for in my name. Parcel was never recovered. Wouldn't assist in any way just kept saying the driver was on your street. Lost the parcel and had to endure a lot of admin to get a replacement from sending company. 2) Fitbit delivered - however apparently it was just the label so no actual Fitbit. Again no help whatsoever so had to get Fitbit to take it up with them which they didn't really want to do. Buyer beware any company using DPD as they will be reluctant to resolve. Of course the stories you get from DPD change - parcel lost, parcel delivered to neighbour, parcel not found, parcel damaged etc. After the above two experiences decided to start to use a Drop Off shop thinking that would be better.... 3) 3 x huge parcels (three bits of a baby buggy) due to be delivered yesterday - not delivered to drop off shop (their own drop off shop) because: Reason number 1: Driver couldn't find the drop off shop Reason Number 2: Driver couldn't find all three large parcels in his van so gave up Reason Number 3: there was an issue with the parcels Reason Number 4: there was an issue with the Drop off shop. So now one parcel to be delivered today,. Then I have to go back AGAIN to the drop off shop to pick up the rest at a later date! 4) Active delivery - something went to the drop off shop and hasn't been picked up however they cant confirm what it was and the drop off shop doesn't keep adequate records and cannot find it. Great. Another issue we have had multiple times is notification of delivery on the day - fine - but then a little message towards the end of the day saying Thank you for changing your delivery date (when you have done no such thing). This is quite clearly for the benefit of their quotas to show that they deliver all they promise on the allocated day UNLESS the customer requests a change. Trading Standards should review this as it is false advertising. When you query it they say oh its just that they didn't have time (the drivers are given minutes to deliver things and once they realise they are delayed they just start changing the days for delivery) Not ideal if you are waiting in or taken the day off to take delivery.

My parcel was to be delivered on an arranged day, which yes that happened. My email alerted me it would be delivered between 1:36-2:36. Parcel didn’t turn up till 2:45 at which I had needed to go out. My package clearly stated on the box (in large red letters) ‘FRAGILE! KEEP FLAT’ as it was a very breakable object. This sign was completely ignored by my delivery driver, who when turned up late, walked down my drive swinging it about sideways. Then when I politely answered the door, he was in that much of a rush that he basically threw this package at me, raised his voice at me when I was misheard him, and couldn’t get away fast enough. Incredibly rude and arrogant man! Very dissapointed! Luckily my parcel hadn’t broken, but I was so suprised it hadn’t!! Shame on you!

Terrible company. Every time I have an order fulfilled by this company, they fail to deliver and make out as if nobody was home. I even tracked a van one time and they drove straight past and sat in a car park for 20 minutes. Then disappeared and put me down as an attempted delivery 3 hours later. DPD customer service looked at the GPS and admitted the driver was nowhere near my house when he logged the failed delivery. It’s happened again today. Disgusting service.

Mislaid my parcel the day it was supposed to be delivered. Said for a week online it was at their park royal depot. Called them after 4 days of waiting. Told me to contact the sender.(who sent out another one) god knows where the first one ended up! They then promised that it would be delivered next day, guess what? Nothing! The replacement arrived today a day later than it should have. What an unprofessional company. If any company I order from says they use dpd for delivery,I'll cancel the order.INCOMPETENT!

If I could give DPD zero stars, I would. Paid for next day delivery...goods didn't arrive on the day...they were sent to the wrong address. DPD rescheduled (without bothering to ask me, yet claimed I had requested their rescheduled date). Goods didn't turn up on rescheduled date either. Still waiting. Customer service is useless...should be called 'I ain't bovered' service. Disinterested and unhelpful.

UGG boots not delivered by DPD. They lied saying they couldn't deliver as I wasn't home. I certainly was. Waited all day for nothing. Customer service is also appalling!
