Twice I've had a "Missed you" notification from DPD despite giving them detailed delivery instructions . Obviously, they hire people with a low IQ, so they don't have to pay them much. I would suggest that they employ people that can follow basic instructions and read road signs.

DPD drivers have told me they are instructed not to even try to deliver in my rural area -- just say "business closed," "no one home," or similar. Rural areas hurt their delivery target of 20 per hours, so they do not even try. This is happening to even with shipments from IKEA and Costco. Yesterday yet another delivery was not even attempted. Security cameras prove DPD was not ever in the area.

Their raison d'etre is to deliver parcels. They failed and so fail as a credible company. Mistakes happen but unhelpful out of date web tracking, impotent chat handlers typing out script driven platitudes, and no sense of customer service are not mistakes. They are symptoms of a dinosaur service and DPD is well past its sell date. Companies like this should not survive: DPD your clock says 5 minutes to Midnight, good night

I must say Horrible service of DPD second time they lied that hey came to the property and collected the item. They put wall pics instead of parcels.

Liars these are. Driver hasn’t been to the house at all. The driver came in my road, took a picture of my house and left without even knocking, I’m not telepathic I don’t know he’s in the street, I checked the doorbell after receiving the fail to deliver message. Useless auto customer service as well. Amazon is so much better.

one of the worst customer services representatives i have ever dealt with. the lady was extremely unhelpful and condescending. First the driver a miss you card without knocking on the door and when i asked her to reschedule it for tomorrow, she simply refused and asked for additional charges as it was the weekend. infact she doubled down that there was a delivery attempt the previous day as well. but when i inquired about no miss you ard or update on their website, she refused to acknowledge that. she should change her title from customer services to customer disservice.

DPD is the exact definition of FAILURE, with all the address information and mobile number they couldn’t make a simple delivery. Their contact agents are unprofessional, it is a big disaster on earth.

My parcel was supposed to be delivered to me yesterday. I was in all day and even if I couldn't make it to the door for any reason I had set my next door neighbour's address as backup. I was even tracking it on the app and knew exactly when to expect it and was prepared to answer the door. The tracking app was up to drop 29 with my parcel as drop 30, then it changed to drop 28 with me as drop 29, and then it suddenly changed to "sorry we missed you". I was in the front kitchen in full view of the street and no DPD van had even driven down it. The photo of the delivery "attempt" was a dark blur as if the photo had been taken by accident. I contacted support who said the driver was now out of the vicinity so couldn't come back (which was impossible as he was tracked on a nearby road for his previous delivery just moments before) and they assured me numerous times that another delivery "attempt" would be made the next day (today). However, I found out today that after a single (fake) delivery attempt yesterday, the parcel is actually going back to the sender, meaning the support agent I'd spoke to yesterday was clearly just lying to me. The parcel was a birthday gift for someone I rarely see, which would have arrived in plenty of time had there been an ounce of competence in DPD, but now has no hope of getting to me on time. I've cancelled the order with the vendor and have relayed my feedback to them as this is just completely unacceptable on all fronts.

Answered the door, told them I am coming, took me 46 seconds to get the door open, saw the van driving away, now I have to pick it up from half an hour away. Call customer support, "I am sorry our delivery drivers are only allowed 1 minute and 8 seconds to deal with any customer"

Appalling company. My parcel had an incorrect post code on it, but DPD were informed of the correct one. They refused to re-deliver and destroyed my parcel without my permission or the sender's permission. I had to re-purchase the goods so I am out of pocket. I have eight pages detailing the webchats I've had with the company plus many emails as I want to know where my parcel went and how it was destroyed (or if it was destroyed!). Plus I want them to pay me for the items. Do not trust this company.

Id ordered some flowers for Mother’s Day & DPD decided to send them back to the sender rather than delivering them to my mum , leaving her with no Mother’s Day flowers & thinking I’d not bothered 😕. They never even tried to deliver them .

I paid for next day delivery, that was a wk ago almost, im disabled and they contstantlybcall me and ask me to go out my block and carry my 36 dog tins in and a 45kg bag of biscuits myself and they moan at me when i say im disabled, the driver sent a picture of my block saying i was out when i can barely walk lol. An utterly useless company that i avoid at all costs! Their drivers are lazy they are liars and they damage my goods, i have no trouble with other company's its just this one! Take my advice and avoid them or you will only be dissapointed

Completely useless courier. Ordered a parcel on Wednesday & was due for delivery on Thursday. Had update telling me parcel would be with me by 11.00 @ 10.52 I got a message saying “ooops we missed you” with a picture of my address on the parcel. The driver never even attempted to deliver it??!! Was then updated that it would “definitely” be with me on Friday by 18.54. Got a message at 19.00 saying your next delivery, only to get a text @ 19.02 saying “ooops sorry we missed you” and sent a photo of a black background?! All the while I was having correspondence with the “online text service” who couldn’t help me and were just telling me what I could see was being said on my app?? Another pointless waste of time. And now “customer service” is closed until the morning. Terrible service

I was given a time slot Monday 14th as as given I changed to 14th as I was at work. Driver Rahminder still turned up and called meat 3.30, I said I have changed slot as at work, he told me I was a liar and out phone down. I’ve called there Bicester depot and Spoke to Mandy, Robert with my complaint. The operations manager for delivery will not respond to us I’m told, we’ve physically seen your parcel but they won’t load it. It’s as though there’s a gang of them controlling parcels and there’s an attitude of no care or concern. Still no parcel so I’ve frozen payment to seller.

An employee of mine sent a parcel to me using the shop delivery service. It was meant to be available for collection for a week but I went to the shop after a couple of days and found out that the shop had returned the parcel to DPD and they had taken it back after just a couple of days. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time I went to the shop the second day after the parcel had been sent to the shop and it has already been sent back even though I was well within my collection window. DPD told me several times that if the parcel was returned to the sender they would issue a refund to the sender but never did. I went through the same conversation 4+ times on their chat function each time being told a refund would be issued only on the final chat to be told that the sender had to now contact them and that their depot never update the parcel to returned even though my employee told me it had been sent back. Customer service was awful, no solution was found and I had so many hours of my life wasted for DPD's mistakes. They also forgot to put my email on to receive updates so I had to chase them through chat every time. In the end hours of mine and my employees time were wasted and all because DPD took the parcels back before they were meant to. I highly recommend avoiding DPD and using a different service. Bitterly disappointed from what is meant to be one of the leading delivery companies.

Ordered some posters online for our office - needed urgent so paid extra for express 24 delivery. It is now Tuesday, last scan of parcel was Saturday at the depot, DPD do not know where parcel is. Depot is Holytown DPD, cannot even contact depot, willing to collect items from depot but cannot speak to them/not allowed to. Cannot blame weather as other courier (Amazon, RoyalMail, DHL) were able to collect and deliver packages. Very bad service, all can do is apologise. Please all the businesses out there, do not use DPD to send your products to customers. Bad courier will not be good for your business.
