“I have had a lot of deliveries with DPD and never felt the need to review as I thought they were just doing their job getting packages to me when they quoted. First of all I love the app and the fact that it tells you your driver name, where he is located at a specific time, what number delivery you are and what number delivery he is currently on. It makes it really easy to estimate when to be in to expect your delivery. So today for the first time I was expecting DPD to come pick up a parcel from me and they quoted me a collection time slot (1 hour) so I made sure to be in. My parcel was not picked up so about 15 minutes after my time slot ended I rang DPD (was talking to an operator after about 90 seconds). When the phone went through she obviously did not realise she was on the phone as she was joking and laughing with a guy but after about 10 seconds she realised there was someone on the other end. I explained to her what had happened and she put me on hold and then subsequently hung up (I think this was accidentally though). So I called straight back and got a different girl, I explained what had happened and she put me on hold while she called the driver. The driver said he had been to my door and left a card (but I told her that he definitely had not and there was no card left) and she assured me that he would attempt to collect later in the day. I was quite frustrated as I had been waiting all morning for him to come and collect the parcel and now I thought I was going to have to wait around all day. But within about 10 minutes I had a knock at my door and he was there to pick it up :) Very happy that he made such an effort to come back so quickly and it means I don't have to wait around all day for him to come back. I have never had a problem and I have had about 10 packages in the past delivered with DPD - I find the system always runs fantastic. I was worried I was going to have my first hiccup with DPD today but they have restored my faith tremendously and I will definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for caring about your customers!!!”

“Parcel was delivered on the day within the hour time slot with regular updates by text on its whereabouts. When it became apparent that i wouldn't be in when it was going to be delivered i followed the suggested link and was able to leave specific instructions as to where the parcel was to be left. I was then texted confirmation when it arrived and even given a link containing photos of where it had been left. 100% recommend this service.”
