Didn’t deliver Amazon subscription parcel despite instructions of where to leave, on second date waited in and no one showed but got text couldn’t deliver, rang customer services Tod Depot Manager would ring, didn’t. Left review on Trustpilot Dpd said I would be contacted soon , 3 days and 3 phone calls to customer services later and they still haven’t. NOW they’ve returned parcel to Amazon saying undeliverable!!!! Unbelievable - was regularly delivered until they got hold of it - don’t think I’ve met a more incompetent company with zero management capacity (check out indeed reviews from previous employees) and shambolic customer care. Hope this helps future customers to stay well clear of this company and pass on to anyone you can. Even the customer complaint process on website just takes you to a “page not found” not surprising will be overwhelmed. But Martin Lewis ( The Money Man) has a site with links of how to claim as Dpd has a history of incompetency and appalling customer care. Will be passing on to Amazon, please do the same.

DPD lost my parcel and refuse to pay the compensation as per our contract. I sent an item using the app shipping service which never arrived with the recipient. Instead another item (a car part) was incorrectly delivered twice (each time DPD collected the item they had incorrectly delivered). After over a month and a half of corresponding with DPD over email, phone call and filling out forms they have failed to locate the item I shipped and now have rejected my claim for the cost of the item despite this being within the standard £50 cover they provide as part of the service. To add insult to injury they are now pretending they would never have entertained the claim for compensation if they had known what the item was (a pasta bowl) despite me mentioning that it was a pasta bowl every single time I spoke to them / when corresponding in writing. I have wasted hours communicating with them only to finally have my claim rejected. I understand they may choose to exclude certain fragile items for cover in terms of damage but this is a case where they have simply lost the parcel completely. If you can't successfully deliver an item and you lose it then it should not matter what that item is, you are responsible for paying for a replacement within the £ limits of the cover you offer as part of your service. I will never use this absolutely useless company to send anything again and will consider taking legal action to recover the amount in question.

Parcel due friday (last week) I was given 1.5 hrs notice and sadly I was out so missed the delivery. Rearranged for today, got a text saying it should arrive 11-12am - never came. Phoned customer services who couldn't care less. They told me it would be here tomorrow at 1pm precisely! Then got another text saying it would be delivered 16.45-17.45 (same day). I have been in all evening and now received a text saying that they have missed me and to rearrange for another day. Frustrated is an understatement. I am a key worker and had to take an unscheduled day off work for this today. Who knows if I will ever get my parcel? It has had lots of miles on it.

Company uses a lot of non nationals and give them 20 seconds per drop. Had this argument with them several times where drivers won't seek a neighbour to take the item in. Not bloody rocket science to see I'm not at home but next door is. Twats basically

My parcel, clearly addressed with the correct postcode was literally dumped on the doorstep of a neighbour 5.5 km from my house. Only that our community has a forum they tracked me down and I had to go and collect the parcel. I was given the postcode of the kind person who contacted me and it worked perfectly. This is not the first time . Anyone who uses DPD needs to review and gather feedback from customers. The parcel was also clearly and politely marked fragile and the contents were bruised. Dreadful.

Phone call charges If like me your parcel gets delivered to the wrong house then whatever you do don't phone them to sort out their mistake because i made 3 phone calls only to discover when my phone bill arrived that the cost of those 3 phone calls i made was £24. Absolutely disgusting and when I have contacted them by email they are refusing any refund. What a joke they are and they won't be getting any business from me from now on.

Like all the other reviews this company is pathetic. They supposedly tried to deliver my parcel on two separate occasions. They said they had left it with a neighbour but the photo of the house they took was nowhere near where we live.Phoned customer services and was told they would ring me back but they never did.I have no control which couriers firms use I only hope in the future if I buy over the internet a different courier is used. We eventually managed to track down our missing parcel via social media !!

Was assured my parcel would be delivered today after they messed up the delivery yesterday. They never showed up at all today, I didn’t get any updates. Just rang them to find out my parcel never left the depot and delivery has been moved to Monday. I would never recommend the service to anyone

Supposed to deliver yesterday, birthday flowers for my sister, driver said he couldn't find the address! Ridiculous excuse, call centre said they'll try again Monday, flowers will be dead, absolutely furious, dreadful service e

The driver took a photo of my door to 'prove' he had attempted delivery but had left before I had any opportunity to actually get to answer my door. Also in my preferences it is requested that parcels should be left in a safe place but this also did not happen. The company failed to deliver on time and did not follow instructions.

Awful!!! Worst courier company. Tell lies, drivers who can't read address, faulty GPS and 3rd rate customer service. Stay away.

Dpd drivers are basically thieves ! They stole my package exactly from the pick off shop. Even if they’ve got millions of cameras pointing the pick up shop they are not capable to read cctv and find how a huge packet just got missing. Over 1 week and they still cant find out even if they got cctv in the shop, in the parking literally everywhere! Got large amount package. I will sue them as well. Never use them again in my life! Thieves !!!

I worked for a Dpd subcontractor. Most heavy parcels and routes are given to sucontractors. 120+ deliveries at a 2min/delivery. Some parcels are over 25kg or combined can reach 100kg or more (4x15kg or 6x10kg or 10x10kg). Most of the customers are ok. A small part of people don't know or want to use dpd app properly and can't be bothered to answer even if they are in. Sometimes it looks like they want to take 2 minutes to open the door. When something goes wrong it is easier to blame the driver. If it's foreigner better.

Tracking said we were the next delivery and then said sorry we missed you? Has happened exactly the same with previous deliveries by this company so, have finally decided to have a moan about them.

DPD customer service is about the worst I have ever experienced. Each time we are sent a package via DPD it nearly always fails to deliver. They say that the driver visited our property but there was no one at home... This is a complete fabrication as our CCTV will substantiate. I have no control over who suppliers use but I do have control over who I use and DPD would be at the bottom of the pile

Would give minus rating for Customer Service if I could - not for drivers but for admin - overcharging, missing packages, T&C breaches - complaints ignored by Dwain McDonald CEO UK and Boris Winklemann CEO Europe offices - now progressing through Trading Standards - voting with my feet and have 'ditched' this dreadful service.

DPD is the WORST company I have encountered throughout my entire life. NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES! I had 4 luggages sent out from the UK to Spain. To my surprise, one of them never arrived on the first place. After reclaiming for over 2months, dealing with 4 phone calls, talking to managers and 3 people on their live chat system, they simply said, the courier search was UNSUCCESSFUL. In other words, they lost my belonging worth over £2000, and the best thing out of it, it took them nearly 3 months to tell me this!!! I'm prosecuting the company to the full extend of the law and make sure legal actions are taking in place. If anyone else has had any experiences like this, I am sure there is, it could become a class action suit against the company. To me, what's clear is that they stolen my belongings, which already proves malpractice and lack of service from the company. They have violated my consumer's rights by providing lame excuses, and getting out of the period's provided to get my answer from the courier. Not until, I provided pressure in the company, they suddenly found out it was UNSUCCESSFUL the search. It is inadmissible and unacceptable, the way they treated me as a customer and they way they handled the situation as a company. I will make sure my experience reaches out to all media outlets because DPD needs to suffer the consequences of providing this service.
