Driver John left a notice 'we've missed you' twice even though I was at home on both occassions. True, I had a call from an unknown number (possibly from the courier) on the second day but I could not answer and called back literally 2 minutes later only to be ignored and all my calls rejected. A text saying 'Can't talk now. What's up' was sent from that number but no response after my reply. This is completely uneccaptable and is an insult to customers who especially now are often limited to online shopping. The couried ignored my multiple attempts to contact him and clearly did not care about the delivery. After this experience I am convinced DPD is one of the worst courier companies i've dealt with. I hope it will be ignored by customers in the future just like their couriers are ignoring customers now

Once again dpd fail to make delivery, the normal message problems in my area, I've had parcel force, amazon, bed world, today and another delivery from dpd this afternoon, but the one I paid dpd £5.00 For a Saturday delivery, they fail, due to issues in my area, Ie driver never put it in the van, now I have to wait till next Friday for my delivery, as I'm a key worker, and out all week, this company are a joke, this has happened to me about 4 times with dpd, now I'll get the automated message, a company contact number would be great

Awful at the best of times. But today they attempted one knock at my door before marking the attempt as 'Business permenantly closed - return to sender'. I called them half an hour later and they said there is nothing they will be able to do. Ironically the parcel is being returned to me in the first place because the same thing happened to the address that I sent it to in the first place, so God knows where it is going now. Impatient and thick headed. Really disappointed and will make sure not to use them in the future.

Was waiting for a delivery from Lithuania of special bearings to complete a machine we had developed for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Our company went into lock down with staff on immediate return to work notice. 2 directors who lived local checked for mail and deliveries every day. We had a card from DHL and another from Parcel Force saying we had missed them and I managed to rearrange delivery to a neighbouring company who was remaining open as an essential business. Nothing was left by DPD. The first we knew was when the Lithuanian company sent us an urgent email yesterday asking us to ring DPD on a Birmingham number to rearrange delivery. I called the number and was told in a "tough tithes" kind of way that our parcels had been returned to sender in Lithuania. Not so much as a hint of an apology. We don't know what the machine we are building is to be used for as we have been drip fed information on a need to know basis but you can bet it's to do with the Pandemic. So well done DPD you've just delayed another research project. I have asked the Lithuanians to resend it to my home address with a more reputable carrier this time at our expense again. I swear I will never use DPD again and urge you if you have vital components not to use them.

This company said they delivered my parcel and it was signed for when it wasn’t they actually spelt my name wrong when I checked my email .They said the driver was bringing the parcel back because he sent it to the wrong address but then backtracked and said he took a picture where he delivered it but without a door number .So during a crisis DPD are taking advantage of people and stealing peoples parcels .Instead of being helpful the staff have lied and condemned this act

Delivery driver knocked at wrong house and classed delivery as rejected, rang customer service who gave me every excuse such as they couldn't try/ look for correct address due to social distancing and couldn't take photo or call to report problem locating the correct address for reasons unknown. I was informed the driver was back at depot 1600 hrs and told he cant go back out and DLD do not work weekends so my flower delivery will have to wait until Monday. The flower company did get them to arrange slot Sat 8:30-10:30 when i called back to query the non existent weekend delivery i was told by a different operator she didn't know why id been told that but that delivery couldn't be guaranteed still by 10:30 and it may be more like 12:00. I will never order anything that goes via this company again.

Through my own error I did not get back home on Tuesday in time to receive a DPD parcel. The courier left a note through our letterbox to say he would’ve deliver on Wednesday. I stayed home all day with no attempt to deliver being made. By chance when walking our dog this morning I saw a DPD van in our village and stopped him to ask if he was looking for our address. His response bring “ no I have just delivered a parcel there” upon entering our house it was evident there was no parcel. Through contacting the seller of the goods I was expecting we were able to determine that no re attempt to deliver had been made and in fact the parcel was now in Plymouth some 300 miles away on its way back to the seller. DPD ARE AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF SPACE, AVOID USING THEM AT ALL COSTS. This is not the first issue I have had with these clowns.

I am reading all these ridiculous reviews and as a customer I feel a sense of need to place a review to all these idiotic and irresponsible people on here including you DPD Firstly DPD is NOT deemed as one of the governments KEY WORKERS this company delivers NON ESSENTIAL items from the likes of ASOS M&S (NOT FOOD) PRETTY LITTLE THING M&M SPORTS ETC ALL OF WHICH IS COMPLETELY NON ESSENTIAL. THEY ARE NOT IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS THE SUPERMARKETS WHICH WE OBVIOUSLY ALL NEED A serious note to DPD **** START FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES AND PUT THE NHS AND YOUR WORKFORCE FIRST BEFORE YOU COST LIVES Then a note to all the imbeciles and idiotic people posting reviews DO YOU SERIOUSLY EXPECT THE DRIVET TO PUT THEIR LIVES AT RISK JUST TO DELIVER YOU AN OUTFIT OR OTHER NON ESSENTIAL ITEM HAVE YOU ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE NEWS ABOUT NOT LEAVING THE HOUSE UNLESS NECESSARY AND SOCIAL DISTANCING???? DPD SERIOUSLY SHUT YOUR DOORS STOP PUTTING PEOFIT BEFORE THE LIVES OF THE UK WHEN YOU ARE NOT DELIVERING ESSENTIAL ITEMS

I am just looking at these reviews in here and as a customer of DPD I am alarmed by how many irresponsible and idiotic customers are writing Reviews in here Firstly in light of the government announcement DPD are NOT deemed as key workers and they simply need to start putting both the NHS AND THEIR WORKFORCE FIRST This company delivers for ASOS M&S (not food) PRETTY LITTLE THING AND M&M SPORTS ETC. THEY ARE NOT TESCO OR ASDA delivering ESSENTIAL items This company is clearly thinking about profit before anything else Then to all the imbeciles writing reviews about the driver leaving the parcel somewhere safe are you actually being serious Do you expect them to put their own life in danger by knocking on your door to deliver an outfit for the weekend or whatever other non essential item your buying. Seriously think about what your saying!!!! A note for DPD START BEING RESPONSIBLE TO THE NHS AND YOUR WORKFORCE AND ABIDE BY THE GOVERNMENT RULES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT AN ESSENTIAL KEY WORKER SO STOP PUTTING LIVES AT RISK TO DELIVER TO ALL THESE CHANCERS AND IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE

DPD Are the worst courier services company In the world, Don’t even think about trying to use the service they are horrible people, they supposed to deliver my parcel to my home address, for some reason they suspect that I don’t live in my address which they already did deliver an items to my address Before, When I did make a complaint to their customer service they seem like they don’t even care about customer complains anymore ??? I already check the customer reviews online, (The Picture doesn’t lie) ??? instead fixing the problem they keep returning my parcel to the sander instead delivering it to my house, I don’t understand if they are a delivery company or they become detective investigators on customer addresses ! now I’m escalating this matter to the sender to doublecheck with there stupid actions against me.

A valuable lap top sat, according to the DPD, website in its deport at Westerham, Kent. Only no it didn't, it had been lost. I tried to telephone DPD but the line was constantly engaged, so I tried online direct contact to be told, no information could be given. I heard from the manufacturers that it had been lost, although given the value of the item, I think that is being generous. This is my first encounter with DPD and it has been atrocious. If you have anything small and valuable like a lap-top I strongly recommend that you do not use this organisation. If I could award no stars, I would. And I cannot fill in how quickly the company responded because it simply didn't.

2nd parcel that hasn't turned up, waited for the van to come and didn’t even attempt to deliver to my house, and said to have been left with immediate neighbours. Been round to neighbours and no sign of my parcel. Such a bad company wish it could be avoided.

Why don't parcel delivery firms give a toss about their customers. I have been waiting for a delivery that has been sitting in DPD's Westerham depot in Kent for the last eight days, a whole 32 miles north of my home. I am unable to speak to the company on the telephone because it is always engaged and am unable to email to find out if there is a problem because there is no email address. It's website says download the DPD app. Why? When the service is so appalling what is the point of having an app that gives as little information as searching online? I would give no stars but I can't. Do not use this company if you are looking for a speedy delivery. And my area, according to the lame website, is unaffected by the current Coronavirus crisis. God help those poor people waiting for a delivery in areas that are.
