Incompetent and dishonest. Received email confirming delivery on its way and to expect a text confirming time slot, immediately requested delivery to local puck up. Promptly received text confirming ok, it would be next day and will send a delivery pass when it arrives. That was yesterday morning and all good... Late tonight they email - apparently no was in when they just tried to deliver (I was) and they left a card (they didn't) and they'll try again Tuesday (4 days time). Easter stuff after Easter.... and when we're out of the country..... AVOID

After taking time off work to be in for an important package the driver showed up, took a photo of my door for 'proof' then drove off. Never got out of the van and never tried to deliver. Couldn't get his attention as I couldn't get downstairs fast enough. So they send me a text linking to a picture of my door saying no one was in. Funny as I was in enough to see them not bothering to deliver. There is no customer care line at all (just recorded crap) and if someone gets back to you they just say they will do something if they can. Which they can't. If you run a business that uses them / Ebay etc. then you will be getting bad reviews and angry customers through no fault of yours. If you are expecting a parcel. good luck. So basically unreliable, poor service, unhelpful and liars to boot.

Your service is appalling!! Whenever I've had the misfortune to have bought something that is delivered by dpd, its ALWAYS been a hassle. A website that often doesnt recognise tracking numbers, limited options for redelilvery (weekends no way - not bothered about people that work 5 day weeks!), why not come and collect it from our depot that is 12 miles away?! Oh OK, thats what I paid delivery for. Tried calling and had a man telling me that "I know your time is valuable, one of our advisors will be with you shortly" for over 40 minutes before I gave up. Shocking service in this day and age

Found BLANK DPD card in the letterbox. Driver too idle to tick any of the boxes on the card. So, where is my parcel? DPD won't investigate without a parcel number and its about a 30 minute wait to get through to them. How can I get a parcel number from a blank card??? Will only be dealing with ebay sellers who do not use DPD from now on, and advise others to do the same.

Took a day off work to receive a delivery and the driver didn't even bother to attempt to deliver the parcel. Just put in a note saying they had attempted delivery.

Delivered on time with half hour message stating when to expect so that no wasted time hanging around for the delivery.

I ordered a tire on a Sunday with a promise of 48 hour delivery, as expected the tire was dispatched on Monday, not a problem, flagged as going to Bristol Depot. The tire has since been to Preston, Birmingham and back to Bristol. I received a message your tire will be the next delivery. I have spent three hours on a Saturday watching my tire wander all over the local area and at times it has been very near ! Clearly it wasn't the next delivery ! what is the point of parcel tracking if it doesn't work. Not very happy !

I would give less than one star if I could! Every time when I'm waiting for delivery from DPD there is a problem, previously driver couldn't find my address(It must be really difficult as I live one main street in a big town). Next time driver didn't even bother to deliver and put a note that nobody was at home. Seriously!! Zero help from customer service, I had to wait 25min on the phone to talk to adviser, I have been told that driver has finish his shift and there is nobody available who can deliver a parcel, apparently everyone has finish job at 5pm on that day. Avoid if you can !!! Would not recommend to anyone!

DPD is the worst delivery company I have seen. I find from the parcel tracking system that they make fake delivery records and never ever deliver the parcel on time. DPD will destroy your business' reputation if you use their service. Please be careful! It is also ridiculous that on DPD website the company shows many awards it has received. Shame! Amazon prime is much better than DPD, never let you down.

I have to say most delivery companies have let me down at least once and some to a greater degree than others but personally I've not bee let down by DPD yet. I use their app which always gives me notification and allows me to re-schedule or ask for the delivery to be left if I'm out so, and I'm obviously only commenting from personal experience, so far they are my number 1 choice and I think the rest have a lot to learn from DPD. Looking through some of the other reviews my views seem to be far from unanimous but I've written my fair share of poor reviews for the other shameful delivery companies so wanted to share my positive experiences of DPD.

Rubbish service and useless customer service. I wonder how this company is still up and running. Some incompetent worker has recorded the wrong postcode from the sender company (who had the correct one) and now the delivery has been blocked. Stay well away!

Ordered an item for delivery on a Wed, DPD decided that Thursday suited them better. Vendor tried to get the delivery day changed, only way was return the parcel to the vendor. Vendor now using Royal Mail. This is the second time I have had a similar problem. Prior to this the van driver was running late so delivered item to the local pick up point. The pick up point was in residential area with very very limited parking. So I had a half mile walk. Will never use a supplier again who uses DPD

Rubbish service, customer service not very helpful cannot get through on the phone and the app has an option to call back but they never do. They would not let me change delivery address even when the sender requested this, would not leave with a neighbour again that is with senders permission. Not very flexible. Avoid at all costs if you want to actually receive your parcel.

Always pay for next day delivery but 40% of the time they do not deliver as they say they are too busy. Grown too big and are really offering a bad service.

the delivery driver was very rude I have never been spoken to like that by a delivery driver before. He doesn't deserve the job.

The drivers don't even bother going to the delivery address. They are simply too lazy and report it as "unable to deliver". Customer service then lie about where the parcel has been and what has happened. It will be a miracle if I ever receive my order. Absolutely avoid ordering from any website that uses DPD to deliver orders! I had order with Nike.com FYI

No email contact , hours on the phone and no answer- and even worse they don't even tell you you need to print off your own parcel label until after you paid. Can't cancel orders- joke company - will never use again.

Instead of picking up the shipment you paid, they send MULTIPLE tex messages but never came to pick up the parcel. To be avoided absolutely.

Very poor service. Customer care number waited in queue for 40 minutes. Wasted 3 days at home waiting for the parcel. No reimburse for all the stress caused. Not professional.
