Ordered golf trolley and trolley bag. Asked to be left at local shop as my home hard to find and not accessible to over 6'6'' vehicles. As boxes so big informed could not leave at shop so opted to collect from depot. When I arrived at the depot (Appleton) I couldn't find the buzzer to get someone's attention. A young man in a suit with a brief case on his way somewhere else passed by and asked if he could help and went to get someone. The man who then dealt with me was an absolute diamond. Good humoured, polite, made me smile, really nice to talk to. He helped me carry the big boxes through the strict security gate and up to my car (which is some distance). When boxes wouldn't go in the boot he suggested taking items out of boxes and took the boxes empty back to the depot for me. What a nice couple of guys giving good service to a customer and what a good customer experience.

Very poor customer service (based only on the one man I spoke to last week). When I phoned to ask about a missed delivery his tone was very abrupt and not helpful in the slightest. Re the messaging that a package will arrive. Whilst helpful, it doesn't allow for the recipient to choose a time we will be home, so we either keep on missing deliveries or else rearrange it each day! The system would not change the address to my work address. And it also never tells me where the package is coming from, so I have no idea if it is small enough to be left in a porch cupboard etc. So again; really not much use.

Unprofessional & Incompetent. Re-iterating what others have stated. Completely useless. Ordered an expensive Express Delivery for 1pm next day - 09/03/2018. Didn't arrive and they stated I had requested a change of delivery date! I hadn’t. Contacted them and they promised it would be here between 08:30 & 10:30 hrs 10/03/2018. Didn't arrive! They stated again that I had requested a change of delivery date - again I hadn't. Would give them a less than 1 stars if I could. Still don't have the items but they stated they should arrive today! Would never use any supplier that uses DPD as a default delivery company again. The order was through Amazon.

DPD says that snow has stopped my delivery of fresh meat. The snow had disappeared by lunchtime and I live about 15 miles from the depot. I know that the route was passable by 10.00 am. The parcel is marked ‘must be delivered today’. Exactly the same happened last week. 2 orders worth over £100 have now had to be destroyed. The supplier will replace my order at their own cost but I feel that DPD should reimburse them.

Useless. Paid extra for a one day delivery to a local Sainsbury’s for a part I desperately needed for an urgent repair only to be informed that due to the ‘snow’ (which was a week ago) my delivery would be delayed by by 24 hours which meant that as my parcel was due on Friday I wouldn’t get it until Monday. So a 72 hour delay what a complete and utter joke.

no text to inform me of delivery slot. Customer care number waited in queue for 30 minutes and gave up. Took a day of work to accept delivery that didn't happen. According to the parcel tracker my parcel has been in the local depot since 5.30 am and has not moved since. Worst thing is cant get through to ask anyone when the delivery will be made. I live in a flat, the last time this happened a note was put through the stair door to say I wasn't in and they couldn't deliver even though I was in all day and no one rang the buzzer. One star is too much.

If I could give them a zero star I would. I have waited over a week for 1 parcel and another is a day late, all the blame is put on customers

I'm not exaggerating when I say this; DPD is the worst delivery company in the UK. If by miracle they do deliver your parcel, it will be nowhere near the time slot that they provide. Seriously, avoid this shambolic company at all cost!

DPD is the absolute worst parcel delivery service I have ever encountered. I will NEVER order anything from them, the only reason I need to write this review now is because Amazon.co.uk refuses to stop sending my parcels via DPD. At least five times now I have expected a package, been informed of its impending delivery and left instructions to leave the package in my secure mail room. EVERY SINGLE TIME I get a message from DPD late in the day saying "you were not home so we could not delivery your package", completely ignoring the instructions I leave via THEIR OWN service! Always avoid DPD, even if the delivery is twice the price, it's not worth the hassle.

DPD used to be really good, but of late they are horrendous, they never stick to times quoted and like others here customer service or feedback is non existent. I think shops should start to advise who their courier is. I for one won’t be shopping with anyone using DPD, the bad experience just isn’t worth it

No delivery, waited in all day, same as many people here, was texted to say I was not at home, while I was waiting by the door for the parcel ... . Later I was sent a photograph of an entirely different property, as 'proof' that delivery had been attempted by the driver. The latest of a series of nightmares with dpd - the consequence is generally no goods received plus days of life lost in waiting and stress, without being able to go out and do anything else. It is time UK companies like this, who are actively hostile to the customer, were prevented from trading. The vendor - mpb.com - has helpful support staff but a policy that results in their taking your cash and hanging on to it, despite dpd's non deliveries and spurious photos - they are clearly aware of dpd's reputation. We in the UK should not put up with this, we are too passive. Perhaps vendor companies could make a selling point out of saying "We never use dpd!"

Very bad service. Delivery delayed 4 times for the same delivery. Rescheduled with no reason and no agreement with me. Very bad customer support. No professional at all.

Ordered a phone and chose my delivery date as a Saturday (I work Mon-Friday). The package was due to be delivered to my mum's house so I travelled up there and waited all day on Saturday to no avail. Called up the company I bought the phone from and they contacted DPD, who apparently couldn't give them a reason as to why my package wasn't delivered that day but it would be delivered the following day (Sunday). I had to ask them for a tracking number as I was never provided with one by DPD - I hadn't received any contact from them at all. I waited in at my mum's house again on Sunday and kept checking the tracking status, which was saying it was in a warehouse in England (delivery was to NI). Sent an email to DPD who were due to reply within 90 mins. 2.5 hours later still no response so Googled the customer services number (couldn't locate it on their website). I was told that DPD don't offer a 24hr service to NI, and therefore as the phone company had sent out the phone on the Friday, there would have been no way they could have delivered my package on the Saturday. They then said they couldn't guarantee it would be with me that day (Sunday) either. I asked for a complaint to be logged and for a manager to ring me back because no-one would be in the house on Monday, but was told that it would be the next day before a team leader could contact me which was a bit useless. My first contact from DPD was a text with an hour timeslot on Monday. thankfully someone was able to go to the house over their lunch and wait for the parcel for me, but I still haven't received any contact from the team lead nor the compensation for wasting 2 full days that I asked for and was told I would get by the advisor on the phone. Appalling service. Will try my very best to avoid at all costs in future.

Tried to contact DPD by phone was put on hold, voice message said very busy could be 4,minuets wait, it took more than 30minuets for someone to answer, I was then lied to. To add insult to Injury I discovered I had been charged 45p/per min total of £18 to hear these lies. I had to get in touch with the sender to sort out the problem, Absolute disaster, bunch of crooks. Would have left no stars if it was possible

There is a reason why 93.58% of people rated this company with one star. Their service is just appalling. I decided to buy a phone and when I saw the seller decided to use DPD I tried to avoid it at any cost, but I wasn't successful. I should have received my phone on the 28th of February, and due to the weather condition the delivery has been rescheduled. I totally understand this and I waited for my parcel that, believing DPD email, would have arrived on the 4th of March. When I saw it was a Sunday I already knew they will never ship it, but I decided to give them a chance, even in the previous 4 times I had to receive a parcel from them I always had troubles and even lost a couple of days off because of their incompetence. My office it's literally next door their warehouse so I tried to contact them using Facebook, Twitter and creating an email request on their support website. I received an automated email which reassured me I would receive an answer within 24h. Needless to say that never happened and on the 4th of March I received an email 26h h after the initial request, saying the delivery couldn't happen because of the weather condition and also I can't pick up my parcel by myself because their warehouse it's not fitted for that kind of service. Well I guess Sainsbury's food truck must be heroes to deliver food anyway, because in Edinburgh the weather alert it's not red anymore and buses, cars and lorries travel everyday. On the morning of the 5th I checked an update on the parcel and I can see it arrived this morning in Edinburgh so their support literally lied to me. I really hope they will go out of business soon.

If I could I would give them even -10!!! The worst experience ever!! Booked Through parcel monkey the courier was DPD.A parcel was picked up from London and arrived in Singapore, went through customs. the day of delivery I received an update that consignment is incomplete and contacted dpd. I was told address is incomplete though all documents were provided and clearly on booking, there was full complete address. Contacted parcel monkey and provided again all documents and exact list of items, only ignoring replies and apologies from them. They didn't do anything to find out what happened. The conversation was ongoing for over a month the same only apologies. I have requested contact details of the courier in Singapore, they didn't want to provide. Dpd was diverting me to parcel monkey and blaming them. After more than a month received an update that parcel is LOST!!! 10kg parcel suddenly lost!! None of them wants to take full responsibility as I didn't have protection. Clearly, it's STEALING from customers and making an excuse for not taking any responsibility!!!!! REPORTING THIS CASE TO POLICE!!! NEVER USE PARCEL MONKEY AND DPD BOTH LIARS AND BE AWARE OF THIS WHEN THEY LOSE YOUR SHIPMENT!!! SINCE 20 JANUARY STILL WAITING!!!!! Its 4th March today.
