Hi, I'm a very disappointed customer who used dpd for the first time and has had a horrendous experience. My parcel was missing for six weeks and now I have been told it disappeared. I have provided receipts for all items in the package and receiving compensation to the value of my package is the only thing keeping me going at this stage.  I provided all the contents information and receipts to the value of 179. 96 and have received an automatic reply saying my claim for £100 pound will be processed.  Dpd not sending a parcel stands to cost me £80.00 plus shipping costs which haven't been mentioned to be refunded yet? At this time this is money I cannot afford to loose. I'm so upset that using dpd has put me on this financial difficulty. Please advise how I can claim the outstanding £80.00 plus shipping costs back. Thanks you, A very disappointed first time customer, who hopes her faith can be restored in do and can use dpd in the future Kerrie

Keep your items away from DPD,They steal your items! And are not communicative!! Paid for next date delivery since 11 /12/2020 and it’s February 2020 and I have not received my parcel worth 500£ and they now want me to produce my receipt of purchase before they can refund me God knows how much, I bought the item 2019 not in UK and I am not in possession of the receipt now .They claim is missing . I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR PARCEL ELSEWHERE IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR PARCEL STOLEN !! DPD VERY,VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE SERVICE!!

This delivery guys are the worse. They don't wait 2 minutes. I live in a flat so of course I won't be in the door the moment he rings. They ring 1 time and then just leave.

DPD SERVICE HAS been a disgrace recently. Their customer service is outrageous. Many names i have of advisors disconnecting a call after going round in circles and dont have an answer. I have tried ordering 3 different items and as soon as it gets sent by the seller to the nearest DPD depo. Someone keeps scanning a returns on all of our parcels in the middleton depo. I THEN tried a family address with a different card and theyre returning our parcels with that too in a different depo in sheffield. They keep making different excuses and not calling us back to give us a reason. My sons birthday in this crappy covid all shops are closed and i cant receive any deliveries. Not one address but 2 so its definately nothing to do with the addresses! They need to stop taking advantage like this ! Please be careful if anyone is having the same issues please post on here so we can take this further.

Ordered from China through Amazon, DPD taking over delivery in Greece from Yun express. It is now 10 days after the latest estimated arrival date. They did not even attempt to deliver during this time. I tried calling them literally over 50 times, but they never answered. And after all this, now that I had decided to go myself to pick up my parcel sometime this week (they are only open during office hours, when I'm of course working) I receive an update (mind you, through Yun express, DPD never EVER contacted me) that the parcel has been sent back. Not only worst delivery company ever, probably one of the worst companies worldwide in general. I wonder how is it possible for such companies to still exist in 2021... Shame

Took over a week for my item to be delivered. I didn’t hear the doorbell on the first day so I rearranged delivery for the next day. I waited in for it to then get a notification saying I’d missed it again. This happened for the next 7 days with nobody coming to my house. I then saw that the driver had taken a picture on the first day, and was then reusing it over and over to make it look like he’d been back. Contacted customer service who didn’t even attempt to act understanding, and to be honest they were completely useless. They basically told me I was lying and told me there was nothing they could do and I should just wait. Awful service.

Unhelful. Under knowelegded. Passed from department to department. Emails calls live chat. Getting no where. Clearly this is how they make their money buy robbing ppl. Id avoid if you can. Dont trust them 1 bit

Would prefer to have put no stars. The dpd driver david mason is a danger to the public & also to other road users. He assaulted my partner we have involved the police. There is NO number you can ring to speak to a human. Weve redirected parcels to a neighbour but still didnt recieve parcel..PEOPLE should avoid this company like the covid virus

I sent two parcels on the 30th of December. In the shop, they didn't quite know what to do and took them ages to sort the delivery out. They gave me 4 tracking numbers for 2 parcels, and they didn't talk very well about DPD. One parcel was returned two weeks later, fair enough. Of the other one, I still know nothing. It's 31st of January today.

For package 01505248873906, DPD tried to deliver once but didn't even ring the neighbor's doorbell. Then they decided to return it, and no they do not respond to either customer or supplier. Unbelievable how lazy the delivery people are, I recommend never use DPD again, please just respond how to get this package delivered.

The worse company I have ever dealt with, you are blocked every way possible when it goes wrong, which it normally does from my history. I will never entertain this company again, when I have managed to get though it seems if you ask a question that’s not straightforward the phone goes down, at one time I got shouted at and then the phone was slammed down, it has stressed me out so much they made a really bad mistake with my delivery which was totally their fault and they don’t want to know, the chat is useless I get more response from talking to a brick wall, overall I feel like I’ve been robbed and abused by this company, please don’t use them

Box with an obvious and massive hole in it dumped quickly at my door to ensure I didn't have the chance to question anything. An office chair with no wheels, bolts, boltcovers, screws, instructions. Refused to take it back until we arrange that ourselves with sellers. Driver was supposed to check van and get back to us but he didn't and no call either as to why not. This is our second bad experience with DPD this month.

DPD sent a text message telling when the delivery will take place. I waited at home. Then received a text saying that the driver missed me. I was still at home. This happens regularly with DPD and I had enough of their lies, so I tried to contact them via the website. Surprise surprise there is no way to contact them or log a complaint. No wonder the drivers lie - they do not have to be accountable as customers can't get in touch with DPD anyway. Aweful business. Avoid!

My experience with DPD has been excellent lately. Parcels are always within the hour time slot they allocate, always to my door or my chosen safe place if I'm out, and always in good condition with no holes or crushed corners on the boxes. The flexibility of their customer service team is also excellent, once when I missed a parcel requiring a signature (new phone) I called them up to ask if I could collect it from the depot as I needed it urgently. I was pleasantly surprised when the advisor checked the driver's position, gave me an estimated time for their return to the depot and said I could pop in after that time. When I got there the van had just arrived so the assistant at the desk went straight to the van and found the parcel for me! DPD have been nothing but excellent for me, I'm always happy to see DPD as a delivery option since I know it will be handled correctly.

I paid for next day delivery and it still hadn’t come 4 days later, so I decided to have it at my pick up shop, they didn’t delivery to the shop the day they said they would and the customer service took 1 hour to answer

DPD have gone above and beyond to offer services that no one else does, with exceptional efficiency. Ability to not deliver packages: 10/10 I have never known any delivery company be so proficient in this area. Usually my packages arrive, on time and undamaged - but this is when I use other delivery companies. Not DPD. They have managed to devise a way to ensure the package never arrives. Not leaving delivery cards: 10/10 Another area of expertise for which DPD takes gold. Their email correspondence lets them down slightly, because by email I'm informed that my parcel is undelivered because there was no one in. This is, however, completely eclipsed by the lack of delivery note. No delivery note indicated that they didn't even bother showing up to my house - just amazing! Well done DPD! Cultivating frustration through no contact: 10/10 This is the area in which DPD really shine. You can't talk to them! It's genius. Never has one single company had such an amazing affect on my frustration levels. I just don't know how they do it! It appears that they've devised a clever way of not advertising their phone number, and the number that we can find is an automated IVR that doesn't include an option to speak to a real person. If you are looking for a service that has the ability to completely remove a parcel from the face of the earth and then never speak to you about it, DPD is the company for you! Other delivery companies will simply deliver parcels and allow communication about deliveries - it's so tired and mundane, try something new! Be more like DPD.
