Driver didn't even get out the vehicle. Then on the second "attempt" they lied about me not having the PIN. They didn't even come to the door. The parcel is now being returned to the seller and I'm being charged a return fee!

Awful Customer Service and absolutely useless mechanism for communication. Their drivers are deceitful and lie. I would avoid at all cost.

This company is a nightmare! I stayed home, even took a day off work, waiting for my parcel — and they had the nerve to send a message saying no one was there to deliver it. I WAS RIGHT THERE! They didn’t even bother to show up. Now I have to drag myself out tomorrow to collect it from some random location that isn’t even close to my home. Terrible service, disgusting customer support, and completely untrustworthy. DPD clearly does not care about its customers at all. Avoid them at all costs!

Do not use this damn company. They employ liars and the service is terrible. I ordered a parcel, and they provided a delivery date and time. I live in a building with a reception that is always staffed, and I was home all day. When the delivery time came, I received an SMS saying the delivery failed and I would have to pick it up the next day. I called customer support, but they didn’t let me say a word—they just interrupted me, read from a sheet, said goodbye, and hung up. Absolutely hopeless people. I’ve never seen worse. Delivery location: Newcastle.

Paid for next day delivery. Driver didn’t even ring my bell, knock on my window or my front door. Yet I received a missed delivery notification. No DPD van captured on my cameras either. They lie about attempted delivery so they can get through as many deliveries as possible. Mine required a PIN code due to its value, so I guess that takes too much of the drivers time. Oh, and I have found it’s 50/50 if they re attempt another delivery the next day.

Absolutely disgusting company, I live in a block of flats. As a result these drivers won't deliver to me, they just say I'm not in. I ring the telephonists who just lie and say they'll put in a complaint, which goes nowhere. Nobody cares, nobody knows how to actually do their job. Just a bunch of incompetent liers.

Dpd are without a doubt not only the worse company ive ever dealt with but the absolute worse currier service i have ever dealt with , they make mistake after costly mistake, and there is no help to rectify their shoddy drivers and staff , Please reputable company's don't use them . It is putting people off using you

“No delivery attempt – CCTV proves it, yet parcel dumped at collection point” I specifically requested my parcel be left in my safe place. Instead, the driver made no attempt whatsoever to deliver – my CCTV clearly shows nobody came to the door. Without warning, the parcel was diverted to a Pickup Shop. I have no means of collecting it and nor should I be expected to when I paid for home delivery. The complete lack of effort to even attempt delivery is unacceptable, and I will be escalating this with the retailer as they will be equally unimpressed by the poor service being associated with their brand. I require urgent redelivery of this parcel to my home address, as originally instructed.

Paid for next day delivery and they sent it back to the sender without even attempting to deliver it. Clearly not the senders fault as I had the tracking number and delivery address which was correct. One moment the traking said they had it was out for delivery and the next they hadn't recieved it.

I had a new iPad due to be delivered. The day of delivery I waited at home, only to receive a ‘sorry we missed you’ email … when I’d been at home the whole time. The driver had literally driven past the property, taken a photo of it, then driven off. No attempt to ring the bell or anything. I called DPD and was put through to someone who couldn’t care less, was told they’ll re-attempt delivery later that day. Obviously that never happened. The next day arrives and yet again, nobody rings the bell but apparently my parcel has been delivered- there’s a photograph of the driver holding a parcel that looks nothing like my parcel, at the front door. I go down, there’s nothing there. I’ve now spent the afternoon on the phone blocking the stolen iPad, dealing with DPD’s awful customer service, and I’m fuming. They’re obviously employing untrustworthy lowlife scammers as delivery drivers, and cheap foreign workers in their call centres. Appalling.

In Croatia this is one of the worst delivery services. You will always find problems with this company! If there is an alternative delivery option on the website, always choose it! My order with the tracking number 08448863561415 was held in the warehouse for reasons unknown to me and was never delivered to me. All attempts to contact DPD from my side and from the online store failed. Please be VERY CAREFUL and NEVER contact DPD. They will rob you of your money!

Yes I did. I paid extra money to have something delivered before 12 o clock which didn’t happen, after hearing it had been delayed it wasn’t even delivered the same day, which is disgusting as it was a perishable gift for my friends birthday. I don’t think people should use your delivery service. I will certainly avoid doing so in future

Ordered a phone from Tesco. " must be signed for, nps its a lot of money".waited in. No knock on door,just a thudd as the driver threw it in the porch. 2nd September Now..tonight 9th Sept at 2125. Was waiting on an apple macbook from sky, Same ,needs signed for. Perfect Waited in. Nothing Then ping..your parcel has been delivered..nope . Nothing . Checked the cctv. See the van in the street and he has delivered it to some one else. Their phoneline is shut No way to contact. Picture shows a door,(not ours ) and the box with laptop in it ..somewhere So what the F am I supposed to do? Walk about in the dark and try to match the picture with a door and knock up all the neighbours.?? Useless. Complaining to sky and Tesco as thats twice in a week ive had the pleasure of your utter sh.... service

Appalling service - DPD set you up with an early morning notification saying they will deliver your parcel between 0930-1030 so you take sometime off work. At 0930 you get a message saying they are approx 15mins away but two mins later you get a notification saying they've called round and no one was in and so now your parcel has been sent to some random newsagents for you to go collect the following day! When I got the message saying they were 15mins away I was looking out for them but no sign of a DPD van stopping by and no sighting of one or their driver on the CCTV. Calling the local depot was a waste of time as they just try to placate you but offer no real solutions. I'll be contacting the international company I bought from to advise them not to use DPD for me (and others if they can) in the future and to only send my parcels using Royal Mail. I'll explain why and leave it up them if they continue you to use for other deliveries !

Utterly incompetent service. Told me my parcel was on route, then suddenly found they couldn't deliver it "due to an unexpected issue in my area". After many painful interactions it transpired the issue was they couldn't locate the parcel. Despite that, I was told they would deliver it next day which surprise surprise didn't happen! Eventually my parcel was delivered 5 days late, too late for the gift it was intended, but hey ho what do they care!!! Abysmal service and unfit tor purpose DPD chat!!! Will avoid if at all possible.
