I actual hate dpd I have never came across such a shambles scam company avoid at all costs the delivery drivers lie that they came to your door you can't speak to anyone at dpd and then apparently my parcel being sent back to seller after 1 day

So, I had notification of my delivery within a 1 hour slot, so in case signature was needed, I ended up spending 2 hours hanging around my front gate to catch the delivery. There was no delivery, no DPD van passed by, nothing. Back indoors, there's a message "No one was in today" & "it will be delivered tomorrow to you nearest Shop". But actually, even that was too hard for them. I had to drive over 10 miles round trip to collect it from some random shop in a housing estate in a neighbouring town despite my nearest drop off point being 1 mile away. And just to rub salt in to the wounds, the complaints phone number is just a 'we'll make you wait for 1/2 hour & then cut you off' sort of deal, when I finally got through & uttered the words "I would", that was all they were prepared to listen to. From now, if a seller is using DPD I will be buying elswhere.

Driver went straight past my house with a very important parcel and just dumped it off at the closest Post Office. I took half a day off work to make sure I was in and they didn't even try. I found out the next day, I then didn't get a pick up slip so couldn't collect and not have to go back a day later again with ID and utility bill. Lazy, terrible service.

DPD seem to go out of their way to enrage their customers. My order should have been delivered next day, 5 days later it still has not arrived. DPD insist the seller, Amazon, did not put my full address on the database so they are unable to deliver. They didn’t bother to tell me this until I contacted them because I hadn’t received the parcel. They told me to contact Amazon to get them to provide the full address (even though my address is clearly shown on the DPD app). I did, Amazon advised they had provided the full address but re-confirmed to DPD. DPD continued to say they didn’t have the full address, I contact Amazon again, they re-confirm to DPD again. Still DPD deny that they have the full address so cannot deliver my parcel. I ask DPD to contact Amazon directly as there may be a problem with their system, they refuse. I ask to escalate to a manager, the DPD customer service advisor cuts the call. I phone back, funnily enough the full address has magically appeared. But now the parcel has to be moved from the DPD depot in Chelmsford to the DPD depot in Dagenham - I live in Southend. Chelmsford is 19 miles from Southend, Dagenham is 30 miles away from Southend. I ask to pick it up myself from Chelmsford; of course DPD say no. I ask to speak to the customer services manager, apparently they don’t have one. I ask to speak to the most senior manager there, I am told her first name but not her surname. I am not allowed to know her surname. I ask for her email address, I am not allowed to know her email address. So I still don’t have my parcel & I have no-one to register my complaint with. It is ludicrous.

Driver didn't even knock or ring the doorbell, I only discovered the package had been delivered when I got the text alert. Apparently a "safe location" is leaving a 4 foot tall box containing items worth £200 resting by my front door, facing the street...it was lucky I was at home or anybody could have taken it.

Their lead time is horrible. My parcel was collected at a store,3rd April 11am. Got scanned to their Cape Town depot the same evening at 7pm. I'm based in Cape Town but they could not give me an answer why my parcel could not be delivered today, 4th April. So it's laying at their depot for an entire day before delivery take place. All their customer care says it will be delivered tomorrow.

Absolutely terrible service! Every box is damage every time, even if it has a sign “FRADGIL” I sent 6 boxes , only two arrived to destination! 4 are lost ! My little business is having a troubles because of it!

Absolutely the worst service and the worst drivers I've ever had an experience with in my life. I had a delivery due for 11am-12pm today which was critical for work. I then have the dpd driver turn up with absolutely ZERO intention of waiting longer than 30 seconds at the door. he turns up to the correct address (which was a shock to me), doesnt knock on the door or call the number attached to the delivery note, he takes a picture of my front door to show he was here and then leaves instantly. As Im opening the door I see him drive off, and its all caught on camera. I called customer service to get it rescheduled today as the parcel is for work and then the customer service advisor Suhail denies it and say it will come tomorrow instead. I asked him how am I supposed to know if my driver is here if he doesn't knock, ring the bell or call me, he claims and agrees that I should have stood outside the house for the hour time period The customer service advisor was reluctant to give me his name and the drivers name. Unacceptable customer service, unacceptable behaviour from the driver Harbind. I want a copy of the call recorded sent to me and I want an email to send the video of the driver. Give me my package too.

WORST COMPANY EVER. Driver lies, Customer Service hang up on me twice because they "can't do anything". Now at Day 5 of rescheduled delivery and I'm no wiser if my driver "Dennis Cochrane" will actually deliver. I stood in my driveway for 1 hour and actually filmed Dennis Cochrane deliver opposite then drive off without delivering my parcel. Customer Service say my delivery is loaded onto the van every morning at the depot (4 mile from my house) but I have to raise a complaint via the sender who is in China. DPD is an incompetent, rude and lying company. I will NEVER associate with these crooks.

Worst company ever .. despite delivery note saying call me if cannot find house ( & detailed info how to find on the DPD app for them ) yet again have failed to deliver important parcel. Pointless calling them as no help and now too late for me to have re -delivered so have had to cancel delivery and chase around for alternative. Appalling customer service and refused on phone to escalate as a complaint for me. If I could I would award them zero stars

I redirected the parcel to a neighbour as the recipient was not in. I received confirmation of the redirection. Despite this the parcel was left on the doorstep and I received a message to say it had been received by a non-existent person. I will contact the company who sent it out and suggest they do not use DPD in the future. I tried to e mail my complaint but surprise surprise the complaint system was not working and it was suggested I try later. I do not have the time to do this. It is so simple read the instructions and then follow them, and do not lie about the delivery. I am appalled and very angry about this.

Always seems to be a delay or issue. Every time I order something and DPD is the carrier, it never arrives, or I have to collect it from post office.

Mass lawsuit? Count me in. Absolutely disgusting service. My parcel was supposed to be next day delivery which was confirmed by e-mail. on the day of delivery it says that parcel has been delayed. When I tried to call (took me 1 h to connect with someone and losing huge part of my mental health) first call, guy pretended that he cannot hear me and he hung up, i called again and SHERIN picked up. Oh my god, "Sherin" you are literally the most annoying and unhelpful person in this universe. Well Sherin told me that my parcel is delayed because "they have too many parcels" like it suppose to be my problem? why do you accept next day delivery when you cannot provide this service? why my parcel was less important than the others? Can someone explain it to me? Sherin keep interrupted my talking, and finally hang up the call without any reason at all. I have offered that I am willing to collect my parcel from depot, and I was refused to do so. DPD service is literally the worst service I have ever seen. It is also impossible to make a complaint. Absolutely disgusting. If someone ever wishes to pursue mass lawsuit, please do count me in.

The driver Kumar who is supposed to deliver to CM4 postcode never attempts delivery, I have cameras all over the driveway and can prove he never attempts delivery - so I wait in all day as per the app but Kumar just puts down as a no access even though my preference is to leave delivery in the porch - it's only the self employed drivers who actually make the deliveries - the contract staff could care less - this is around the tenth time this driver has not made the delivery attempt but lied to me and his bosses

You send a parcel, expecting it to be picked up from the drop-off location, but the drivers don't come to pick it up at all. This particular driver I met once was under the influence of drugs and the pharmacy confirmed it too. saying he's like that all the time. I've complained a few times to dpd but nothing. I think DPD enjoys employing drivers who are under the influence of drugs.

I paid extra for a special day deliver because I needed the product to be delivered that day when I was in. Got the delivery time slot in the morning. A few minutes into the waiting I got an email that the driver missed me. I was at home all day waiting for it. The driver simply took a photo of my door from his van and did not bother to get off it and knock at the door. I called customer service via dpd app after several failed attempts to get in touch with a human via their chat. The lady on the phone said that unfortunately I will have to wait for the delivery only after the Easter bank holidays and that the driver will not come back even I had proof from the cctv that he did not knock on the door.

Terrible service. Got my 1 hour deliver slot e-mail and waited for the driver to drop off my parcel. Suddenly got an update ‘We have missed you’ and a picture of some industrial site. No I have to wait until 2 April, while the parcel contained a gift I needed tomorrow. Highly doubt it they will be able to deliver it the next time. Not able to speak to anybody.
