“Absolutely ridiculous company with no way of getting through to their customer service!!! I took a day off work to receive an important delivery, just for them to claim the delivery was attempted, and I wasn't home. I have been home ALL DAY! I am beyond angry and fed up.”

“Waiting on ready meals, DPD encountered a problem, instead of meal delivery by 4pm I have been told I will get them by 10pm. Very disappointed had to rearrange diary to be home for them coming.”

“They don't even try. If you file an official inquiry about your package, they respond with a farcical email requiring the package sender to contact them. If you call them they are "looking for your package and will contact you" but never do. Their customer service and resolution is ABYSMAL.”

“I will no longer buy from companies that use DPD. Today, I woke up early on a weekend just to receive a parcel. The driver rang the bell and walked away without even attempting delivery. I responded immediately—opened the door from upstairs in 3 seconds, saw him doing nothing, and ran downstairs in under a minute. He was already gone. I even shouted after him, but he ignored me. I know every company can have a few careless workers, but DPD clearly takes no action to fix this. It’s clear DPD doesn't hold drivers accountable. If the parcel isn’t properly delivered today, I will refuse to accept it and cancel my order. Any company that chooses to work with DPD is endorsing this level of poor service. And I won't be buying from these companies anymore.”

“Driver claimed to have made two attempts to deliver my package of medical supplies and returned them to the sender. (Local Hospital). I was at home all week and no knock on the door or even a missed delivery notice, the outer porch is unlocked and a safe place to leave things. I received a phone call from the hospital saying they had been returned. The hospital has reposted the item using Royal Mail.”

“AWFUL to say the least!! No one has taken responsibility for a parcel they damaged during the delivery, even though I paid extra for insurance. Also, paid extra for next day delivery that didn't happen for some reason that I still don't know. Customer service ignored multiple follow-up emails, and even the CEO failed to respond after several reminders. I will absolutely not be using their services again.”

“Two days in a roll the DPD driver Paulos has refused to collect the package without even seeing it. I was waiting outside and saw DPD truck arriving at approximately 1:10. I asked the driver, he was in a rush and said he's in charge of delivery not pickup. But two minutes after he's left, the status on the website turned into "nothing to collect". So I knew it's him that should be collecting the package. I talked to security in the building, looked at CCTV, saw two DPD trucks on the camera. They said they know Paulos but he's not the same guy as the guy I stopped and talked to. The fact that there were two drivers and neither of them finished their job is absurd to me.”

“Utterly useless. No attempt to deliver, just drove off. Sent laughable picture to confirm "attempt". Two days ago a different driver left a package with a complete stranger, again making no attempt to come my door.”

“On 20 June 2025, my DPD delivery arrived around 40 minutes later than the allocated time window. When the driver arrived, he spoke to me via the intercom in a very abrupt and impatient tone, telling me to come downstairs. I explained I was alone at home with my two-year-old daughter and asked if he can bring the parcel to the 10th floor. Instead, the driver took a photo of the building entrance and walked away without responding. I quickly left my daughter with my neighbour and ran downstairs to try and catch him, as the delivery was important. I found him about 50 metres away near a local playground full of children and parents. As I approached, he became immediately aggressive. He shouted across the space, accused me of lying about having a child, and began verbally attacking me in front of multiple witnesses. He called me a “d...h..d” and said: “If it wasn’t for the kids here, I’d beat you up.” This was a public threat of violence in a family area. I remained calm and walked away, but this was extremely distressing. This is not about a late parcel – it’s about personal safety and basic respect. DPD must address this urgently. No one should be treated like this by a delivery driver.”

“USELESS! why give windows for a whole day?! I chose a 9-6 window because I wanted my parcels to be picked up early! I didn’t choose 12-6 but I have been given a 1-2 pm window? How does it make sense. They need to give smaller windows so you can actually get parcels picked up around the e time you actually want… not needing to sit all day waiting to see what time they might come. They emailed DAY OF at 6 am saying they will come at 1pm so I work up early just to sit around all day until collection. Absolutely stupid system for time slots. If you ask about a time slot, I want to give an actual small time slot, not the possibility of the whole day!”
