Took the day off work to sign for expensive parcel. got a message saying the driver attempted the delivery This is not the case at all, I have multiple cameras over my house and no one even approached the front steps. But the worst part is DPD's customer support, first I tried the online chat, and that robot it useless and just kept repeating the same thing over and over. Then I tried calling but the automated voice was clearly broken as it gave me every line probably programmed into it without my even giving it any details. "Your parcel is out for delivery, the driver is in your area, there has been difficulties with your delivery". Then when I eventually got through to the overseas call centre by deliberately getting my tacking number wrong. The guy on the phone couldn't answer my questions as they clearly weren't on his script. DPD clearly don't want to getting through to any sort of customer support so they don't have to deal with it. Even asking the AI chat to make a complaint ends up going around in a circle so you never actually get to make the complaint. Delivery will be attempted again tomorrow, but I guarantee the exact same thing will happen. I'll stick to Amazon from now on.

The delivery drivers fail to leave my parcels in my chosen safe place. The parcels contain medical supplies which are of a very sensitive nature. Today I arrive home only to find yet another parcel from Stephen the DPD on my doorstep & when I picked the parcel up the contents fell out. DREADFUL COMPANY!

Ordered letterbox brownies for birthday present and they arrived 1 day late..the box was burst at one side then sellotaped...two brownies had bits missing with no broken bits in the box so assume contents fell out and then put back in the box... The driver should have asked recipient if willing to accept damaged goods instead of putting box through letter box

Mr Pablo,who deliver patcels in Brighton area.The driver didn't even drive up to the house. Clown.He lied that no one was at home instead he send message that parcel will deliver to the locker.... Pablo, don't lie lol

DPD failed to deliver my parcel once again. The driver was the imaginary John who hasn’t managed to make a single delivery to my husband or I so far this year. I have made numerous complaints about him but nothing is ever done. Also we are a large holiday park on a main road so there is no excuse for not delivering. Every other company delivers with no problems whatsoever. DPD around York are a waste of time and a disgrace. How this company still exists is beyond me.

absolute rubbish company in a space of two months they have lost two delivery parcels for us never found them so someones enjoying some free package of roses. dumped in someones porch no idea where. and another box delivered to Aldi pembrook docks porch. not even attempting to use the parcel lock up not impressed at all. I don't trust them anymore

DPD is the worst delivery company I’ve had experience with. So many parcels not delivered. Today I’ve been waiting for a parcel and especially during my time slot. My time slot isn’t even over and they have made no attempt to get the parcel delivered to me. No buzz for my flat and no knocks at the door, nothing. They have sent me a text saying it’s being delivered to a newsagents instead as “no one was in”. But I was definitely in. I can’t contact the driver and their website is useless. I now have to wait another day and go out of my way to collect a parcel although I paid for delivery and I’m 9 months pregnant. This is just one example of how useless they are.

They tried to deliver when I was in the house but I didn’t hear anything, nor did my mother. They then sent it to a place that is far away and in a place I never go. When I tried to contact customer service they said well he came and they can not redeliver. Even when I explained I would be unable to collect it from the place I still did not get any suitable help!

DPD is terrible. I regret sending my parcel to Zimbabwe using DPD. They don't care. Apparently they don't have offices in Zimbabwe and are culturally insensitive to how we are ready to approach their offices personally with parcel delivery quarries. Instead of referring me to their local agent address they frustrate you by denying you access to their agent. I later discovered who they use and surprisingly the local agent was very human, true to how we handle customer quarries and I was finally assisted enough to appreciate that DPD are ignorant and insensitive to Zimbabweans. I regret using DPD. I will stick to our usual guys who wasted no time attending to me.

Two "attempts" to deliver, when I was there in the house. No knock, no doorbell, just a card saying "We tried". They are the worst. Must put drivers under pressure or they hire the worst people because they never actually deliver anything!

It sounds like my story is typical. I am at home expecting a dpd parcel. The driver doesn’t turn up and says nobody was in so they delivered the parcels to the local store. An other time, they said they delivered to a neighbour but I received a message from a local shop saying they have my parcel. Very frustrating!

Incompetent driver I ordered a phone from sky which should have been delivered today, the incompetent driver went to the wrong address and took a picture and informed me a calling card was left, I know the address to went out of my way to speak to the inhabitants, they informed me no calling card left and they even pointed my cottage out, he couldn't even be bothered to drive down and deliver it to the correct address, terrible service. Let's see if it arrives tomorrow

Dropped a parcel at the DPD drop point. Though the app acknowledged the drop that’s as far as it’s got. The parcel never arrived at its destination. Phone calls, emails, you name it, I did it. “It’s been collected”, “it’s not been collected”, “it had an unreadable scan code” even though the scan code worked perfectly fine to drop the parcel. Investigation raised and still no response. Complete stonewalling from DPD. Last response “we promise to respond within two hours”. Three hours later, still no response. Absolutely raging. So disrespectful it’s untrue

DPD I swear used to be super dependable, but there have been so many times I've been home and they've supposedly attempted delivery when they clearly haven't! I now dread when I buy something and they tell me DPD will be shipping it!

I am writing to formally complain about the behaviour of your driver during today’s attempted delivery, as well as the repeated issues I have experienced over the past two weeks. Today, despite the delivery window provided by DPD, the driver arrived earlier than the scheduled time. I was standing outside my house waiting for him, as I have learned to expect problems, given the recent pattern of failed deliveries. The driver clearly saw me standing there — we made eye contact — yet he did not even bother to get out of the vehicle. Instead, he immediately drove off without attempting to deliver my parcel. This has been happening repeatedly over the last two weeks. Almost every day, drivers claim I was not at home, even though I was waiting outside. Sometimes they even upload a photo of some random empty space as supposed “proof” of attempted delivery. I have CCTV footage of all these incidents clearly showing that I was present and waiting, and that no genuine attempt to deliver was made. I expect a proper explanation for this unacceptable behaviour, and assurance that my parcel will be delivered properly and that this situation will not happen again. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will escalate this matter further and take it up with higher authorities, as I feel I have been treated unfairly and unprofessionally. Please investigate this matter urgently and get back to me as soon as possible.

Very disappointed in this service. Twice I had meat delivered by the same courier and twice it was a bad experience. He just drops the parcel in the sun, doesn’t bother to ring the doorbell and leaves. He’s supposed to leave the parcel with a neighbour but couldn’t be bothered to find out if anyone is at home. I’ve contacted Malpas farm shop re this shocking service. I honestly would never use dpd voluntarily. They are disrespectful.

Dreadful company! I stayed in all day TWICE and TWICE they did not deliver. No contact to advise of any problem and to aggravate the situation I had to collect my package from a store 10 miles and 35 minutes away. I submitted a complaint and sent 2 reminders but I have received nothing from DPD - they are a disgrace.

Possibly the worst courier going they lie say they attempted delivery when they didn’t the customer service when you call them up are unhelpful and not willing to help paid for next day delivery and never happened
