Worst delivery service ever. Four days since parcel was collected in Shropshire, and it's still in Birmingham. And their website tracking service is awful. When you enter tracking number, it says 'Good news, your parcel is on it's way to you' and then you have to click further just to see the progress - I mean lack of progress as it's not been updated for four days. Wish businesses would collect delivery feedback better and hold these delivery companies that keep failing to deliver accountable. This has been my experience consistently with DPD.

Same complaint as most of these other reviews. Waiting for my parcel to arrive in the allotted time when by chance looked at the tracking. It had been delivered to a "neighbour" I certainly didn't know them or the house. Fortunately I found it and the lady said she told the driver where to go. He said he had looked but couldn't find it!!! I certainly didn't see a DPD van. I have to say they have delivered here before without problem. I guess some of the drivers are very good some don't care.

Yet again “Sorry we missed you”, I’m at work, which is why I always tick the “deliver to a neighbour” option. Just phoned both neighbours, they’ve been in all day. So now, for the third out of four DPD deliveries, I’ve got to go and pick my parcel up. Rapidly sinking beneath even the Royal Mail this outfit. Shockingly bad.

Horrible expierence! Next time if i see driver like that i gonna knock him out!!! My parcel was 10 stops away, after 3 minutes i got notification that my parcel has been delivered with random photo outside on the public road!!!! I run downstairs from my Flat and my parcel was GONE in minutes!!! Driver took it for himself or hes so dumb that he didnt look after Flat doors or bell, dropped on the ground marked as claimed by ME which is lie, and someone took it. Website clearly says that, driver gonna make photo of him handling parcel to person with door open in half!!! But he dropped my parcel just outside nearby other revenues etc, on public road!!! And marked as accepted by me!!!! Double money loss, for expensive service! DPD made my day, deleted app. And also i had additional info added on the app where i cleary stated : Please ring to my Flat "Number", or knock the door, and being thankfull. But yeah this driver, didint put effort to look after door!!! Thief himself for sure. Kudos to Euardo driver! 15th January 11:38.

DPD driver never buzzed or attempted to call, so I was marked as "not in" even though I was, and the parcel was directed to a pick up shop. 5 miles away. In London. Where there are DPD shops every 5 metres. And apparently it's impossible to redirect it once it's been marked for delivery to a pick up shop. So yeah thanks DPD for making my life much harder than it needs to be, once again.

Took a day off work to take a delivery booked with DPD. Ivan, the driver due, did not call at the house and I doubt was even in the village when we received an email to say he'd tried to deliver. A Company that lie's. No contact tel numbers to call anyone. Appalling service.

The DPD driver tried to deliver my parcel to the wrong street and then claimed that no one was home to recieve the delivery. I have had many parcels delivered by DPD over the years and I can confidently say that DPD is probably the most inept delivery service in the UK. Would strongly recommend avoiding at all costs. You will not receive your parcels on time or in some instances, ever. If 0 stars was an option, I would choose that.

Absolutely appalling service. Paid extra for 2 to 3 days. Advised parcel delivery would be Tuesday. No confirmation of slot and no parcel. No explanation but another email confirms delivery Saturday with delivery slot. No attempt to leave in designated safe place ( student reception) as clearly asked for, instead large heavy parcel with no handles left at a convenience store 20 mins walk away for a female student with no car. I think driver just couldn’t be bothered. I would give DPD no stars if I could

Terrible service full stop. We left a clear sign with our numbers by the buzzer as this is not working, we never got a call, just a text saying our parcel would be delivered to a "local" post office. Turns out the local post office is not even in our same post code area! Will have to take time off work to collect it. Called the help line and they could not rearrange for the delivery, and told me i needed to contact the sender to rearrange, but they could not give me thei contact... when i asked to speak to a manager i was told managers do not take calls... (how does one speak to them, smoke signals, pigeon messangers?) Looking further on the online status of my order I notice that the driver returned our parcel to Southall at 12:06, when my delivery slot was from 11:57 to 12:57. It is beyond me how a van can travel from Battersea to Southall in less than 7 minutes. Guess the driver just could not be bothered.

The driver didn't even attempt to deliver to my flat. I left instructions for my "safe place" and the driver left the package at the front of the main building (which I am not in). The tracker was inaccurate as I was tracking to get the parcel from the driver myself. It said it would be 15 minutes and then I received a notice that it had been delivered but the driver had been no where near my flat.

It's really difficult to actually receive the package sent with them. If possible, use some other service.

Paid to have a One day delivery. I received a "we miss you" e mail even of that didn't try the delivery. I was at home al day, no calling card was left. When I called to have explanation they said that there was an error in the system, the driver never attempted yet and later during the day he Will be delivering my parcel for sure. No one try to deliver anything that day. The next day a different driver delivered a box for me, I was waiting for 2 items from the same shop, in my parcel there was Just 1 of the 2. After a lot of calls, holding, telling the problem to a lot of people I eventually foind out that dpd for some reason didn't accepted the 2 item and they sent It back to the vendor. After I paid for 2 items delivered in 1 day I received 1 item delivered in 2 days. No reason of that was given, I just paid for nothing and still waiting ti have my second item delivered.

DPD emailed me at 06.37 Tues 11 Jan to expect a parcel 07.38-08.38 Tues 11 Jan. NO DELIVERY ATTEMPT WAS MADE. I've checked our CCTV as well. DPD also failed to deliver on Mon 10 Jan to the pick up shop. I have arranged a third delivery attempt on 12 Jan. Whilst I do appreciate DPD have delivery problems some times. I do not appreciate that when their parcels are tracked they show DELIVERY REFUSED 'when the failing is DPD'S. I will of course be notifying the sender of this and if you continue to fail delivery demand of them a refund.

Waiting for delivery then check the tracking and they've sent it back to source without any correspondence! Absolute shocking company! twice in recent weeks! There's a contact number there for a reason!!!

What went wrong? DPD employees a bunch or criminals. My driver was supposed to be delivering my new phone instead he came with an open empty box. The worst is that he took pictures of himself holding the opened box

1. Parcel due Weds between 6 and 7pm. I'm in and check the tracker -delivery van is 15 mins away. 20 mins later I get a text with a black photo (not my front door, the light was on behind the glass panel and the outside light was on). Apparently neither I nor any of my neighbours were in. Funny that, I never heard the door bell ring or a knock at the door, but I did hear my neighbours. 2. Thursday 8.45 am. Another missed delivery. Strange because, once again, I never heard the doorbell or a knock at the door.... I decide to get it delivered to my local post office, a nice big building they shouldn't be able to miss. Due on Saturday. 3. Saturday - delivery postponed to Monday. 4. Monday. I finally speak to someone at DPD who assures me that the parcel will be delivered today to the post office. 6pm I get a text with a photo of a closed post office. The driver only went to the wrong post office. Must be really hard to check the postcode and find the right road. Why on earth do companies still use DPD? They have proven themselves to be incompetent on so many occasions. I haven't received my parcel yet but I am looking forward to speaking to someone at the depot and telling them that their driver went to the wrong post office yesterday and where the hell is my parcel?!

Why don’t large company’s read these reviews and stop using this joke of a company. I ordered a mattress for my son and was assured it would be delivered Saturday morning. On the strength of this my son took his old mattress to the tip.No mattress arrived just had a photo of the wrong street.Assured it would be delivered on Sunday. He stayed in all day nothing.Phoned three times on Monday said I would get a call from the local Exeter branch again nothing Now I have received a text stating that I have requested a change of date to Tuesday which is a complete lie. In the meantime my son has to spend every night on the sofa . PLEASE PLEASE will large companies stop using DPD
