DX Inverness delivered on time and delivered on a Saturday morning 9am. Had feared the worse reading some of the reviews but fair play to them. I will give them 5 out of 5! Great service.

Utterly incompetent company. Failed to deliver and "customer service" line cuts off after 25 minutes wait without any answer. Avoid at all costs

So far I have joined the ranks of people who can not get a telephone answer and the chat is useless, my item is due for delivery Saturday and I know from other reviews, DX do not deliver on Saturday's and do not deliver to this area so will use a partner courier, but I can't get through to find out who that will be! Like so many reviews , if I had known who the couriers was I would not have ordered from this company.

Total shambles said they couldn’t deliver as no one in,we were in all day,tried contacting them absolute waste of time they should be reported ,why Amazon use these people I don’t know

Hopelesss they only deliver monday to friday daytime with no time slots. Guess what DX,, people have day jobs!!!

First attempted delivery the claim was nobody at home, left calling card. Second attempted delivery absolutely nothing all day, the tracking kept saying on the vehicle and now says returned to depot. Now,apparently, I have requested another delivery date which must have been when I was sleeping. I am so clever. I have lost 2 days waiting at home for the delivery, this is a car part of which the garage has now stated unable to fit until Monday (assuming I do receive the part) so I have lost the car for the weekend. Fantastic.

Rubbish company dont bother if you need something urgent their drivers pretend they have tried to deliver and left a card whrn they dont waiting in all week now same excuses

Told my item from Wickes was going to arrive before 12 noon. At 18.37 I am still awaiting my delivery. The question is will I get it tomorrow or will I ever get it from this delivery company.

On the original delivery date they told me they 'couldn't access the property' (someone was in all day), then failed to show up for the two successive redeliveries. Total lack of communication from them, and the absolute worst customer service I've encountered - live chat on the website only works sporadically, and impossible to get anyone on the phone. My parcel still hasn't arrived. Would actively avoid ordering from anywhere that uses DX as couriers.

This company are an utter joke. Absolute farcical entity. Blatantly lied about attempting to deliver a very important item today, despite us having Ring camera doorbell which proves nobody came at the time they supposedly attempted delivery. No contact number to call except a bot which hangs up on you. The live chat is barely functional and I eventually got through to what must’ve been a teenage minimum wage IT worker. I kicked up a fuss and now I’ve been told I’ll receive a ‘call’ from the support team but no guarantee the driver will come back. No explanation. No apology. Err come back? That would suggest they came in the first place. Reading these reviews, it sounds like DC are notorious for being dishonest and misleading. Let’s see what happens. I’ll be submitting a formal complaint but no doubt it’ll fall on deaf ears. I really wish we could know in advance if a retailer chooses DX as their courier, so we could steer well clear.

Horrendous company Horrendous company. Made an order through Wickes. The driver did not turn up despite waiting all day Monday, then suddenly at 10pm, marked my order as delivered. No goods. Made a complaint and was tracked to Tuesday, no show again having waited all day, then tracked to Wednesday, still no show. Fraudulent company needs to be investigated. Total incompetence, drivers and company thieving all building supplies. This is not a delivery company but a den of thieves.

You never answer the phone, you never answer your live chat or inquiries made through your messaging service your tracking system doesn't work and you don't let anyone know when the parcel is going to be delivered. Apart from that great service you should be proud 👏

DO NOT USE DX. I have been waiting for my Ironmongerydirect item since Friday. I called at 5pm today to be told that DX had delivered my item already which it hadn't. I was then sent a photo of a neighbour's house outside with no parcel in sight and a fake signed delivery note. Nobody had attempted to come to the door to delivery. I now have had to pay out of pocket to reorder the goods again as Ironmongery direct have to launch an investigation. What an absolute joke.

I missed the above delivery on a midweek day because I work 9-5 like most people. I rearranged the delivery for a Friday as I was working from home that day due to work circumstances. The item never turned up and I receieved no tracking updates whatsoever, even after the day was up. I tried to rearrange delivery for a saturday because I'm entirely unable to take delivery of anything during the week. It gave me no option, so I sent a complain to customer services asking why the delivery never occurred on the Friday. Customer services replied and said the item had never been loaded onto the vehicle for delivery, and without even asking, rescheduled delivery for tuesday. I took the tuesday off last minute and stayed at home for delivery. Again, I received absolutely no tracking updates whatsoever. By 5PM I wrote to the Live Agent Chat on your website and asked where my item was. They LIED and said it was taking longer than usual and that it would be with me soon. It never turned up. I rescheduled the delivery for a Friday because I had no other choice and never intended to be available. I wrote a 1 Star review on Trustpilot and again complained to customer services. They ignored the entire issue and simply said that they could see I rescheduled it for Friday, which was an utterly useless resposne to the issues. Friday rolls around, I'm out at work, and by some miracle they actually loaded the item onto the vehicle and tried to deliver it, obviously failing because I work during the week. I contacted the Live Chat and asked them what the hell I was supposed to do. I asked if the driver would return, I asked if I could collect and I asked if I could intercept the driver, and all three were refused. By some bizarre turn the advisor said the item could be arranged for a saturday delivey (why now?) so I said that would be ideal and agreed. It is now Saturday, no tracking updates and no mention that it is out for delivery. I contact Live Chat and ask if they've forgotten to load the item onto a vehicle and lo and behold, the agent says that yes, the item is not in fact out for delivery and I don't know why. I asked them how they were going to resolve this issue and they simply said they could only rearrange delivery.

Where’s my parcel???? Pay the extra still not here the rude customer service desk pretending the line was breaking up every time I spoke to her, and instantly became a expert on ring doorbells when I informed her the driver didn’t even open the gate, but you know degreee in technology, hence why she answers phones….

Does DX really stand for Delivered Exactly?! In fact, not delivered at all, throughout the 8am - 6pm (10hour) delivery window. No update or explanation. What a total waste of a day.
