I strongly suggest anyone considering Easirent to reconsider. Many people use comparison sites to find the best deal when renting a car and if Easirent operate in the location you are searching for there's a very good chance they will be the cheapest. But they are cheap for a reason. The cars will generally be a bit older (which is OK) but will often be dirty and have many dents and scratches. If you do rent a car from them, before you sign the paperwork do a walk around video using your phone in high resolution and in good lighting so you have something to fall back on later. EVERY little mark on the car should be recorded on the paperwork before you sign. They also save money by not training their staff who I have found to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I know a lot of people have had problems with deposits not being returned but actually I never experienced this and always had the money held on a pre-authorisation and never physically taken from my account. Maybe I was lucky. My main concern with this company is the customer service both at the hire location and head office. I have had an ongoing problem with them for literally months which I cannot get resolved which is hugely time consuming and frustrating. Which is why for me, I would prefer to pay a few pounds more and use a reputable company to hire a car from. I have never had problems with the major companies. One final thing, if you search this company on Companies House in the UK you will find they are in Administration but still trading. This should ring alarm bells for anyone that is requested to hand over a large deposit as there is a very good chance you will never see it again.

I booked a van on 25th November 2020 for a house move scheduled on 6th December 2020 securing it with a deposit which the advisor insisted on. The day before my house move, Saturday 5th December, I received a text from Easirent informing me that my booking was cancelled and couldn't offer an alternative vehicle. It is now 5 weeks later and my £69 deposit still hasn't been refunded. I have attempted to contact "Customer Services" many times over the past month but only managed to get a reply 3 times. Each time I managed to get through the agent was less than helpful... Firstly, they argue that Easirent doesn't take deposits for which I have to prove that I made the payment from my credit card statement. Secondly, they argue that I cancelled the booking not them. After they look at their notes and accept that they cancelled the booking I am told that there is nothing they can do and I have to wait until it is processed! I still have no idea when or even if I will get my money back. Unprofessional and unhelpful, I feel like I've been scammed. My advice would be to steer well away from this organisation, they have caused me no end of problems and frustration. A real bunch of cowboys!

Absolutely money-grabbing company when it comes to returning deposits. Takes months. I have rented cars for forty years often twelve times in a year and I used this company once before and never again. Not worth the hassle when you have to be bussed off-site, never mind the waiting and phone calls. I like to give all companies a fair crack of the whip, in the case of these chancers across the back they would get it.

Look, just accept the fact that this is a chancer company. Still waiting since the 5th of November for return of deposit 2100.00. Never let this lot of the hook if they deduct money for damage, stay on their backs and demand to see repair bill and cost. Remember they cannot charge what they want. Rules and regs. Make sure you photo car, inside and out. Let the world know your opinion of this Easirunt company.

Rental in Fort Lauderdale. We missed our rental because of the difficulty getting to the car rental. You have to take a second CITY bus to get to the rental. It was late at night, didn't seem safe and I couldn't lift my 50# bag onto the bus. Upon pulling up their website, they have a UK phone number. Well, I don't have an international plan to call. So, we decided to get a rental from another company. They will not refund the money because we did not cancel 6 hours in advance. Now, I understand policies but this is ridiculous. If you are going to use this company in FLL, make sure you know that you have to take a CITY bus to get there and don't prepay.

Listen reviews are very helpful and I want to deter this company from making another dollar because they are a total rip off as I am writing I'm hurt that I didn't read the reviews before and I am more hurt that corona still hasn't taught us a lesson that we need everyone. Treat customers right that's why God took us away earlier in the pandemic. Dont forget all the businesses were closed down. Now I want to tell you of my horrible experience my husband rented a car and upon returning to the hotel we noticed a dent on the Passengers side it was too late so the next day I called the company a lady at a different location answered I proceeded to ask her how can I see an outline of the car just as we had rented it as in damage etc she said are you talking about the dent on the passengers side I was flabbergasted and happy at the same time because I tried to beat around the Bush to elicit that information from her without saying anything because i did not want them to blame us, so excited i asked 6 times maybe more to make sure i even asked if itwas a scratch and she said no . She also added that we had signed for the damage so we were relief. So upon returning the car my husband and his big mouth told them how we were stressed out about a damage we didnt cause and the representative aborted his Inspection on the driver side and scurried over to the dent on the passengers side and told us to our dismay that the dent wasnt there before. The manager came out and confirmed we were at fault. So we asked what was the DAMAGE he showed us a finger nail scratch next to the dent lol fc$$n scammers mighty God can ppl be so wicked so I asked him why didnt u account for the other much larger scratches on the front of the car seeing this one is so significant.I told him what the lady had said and he refused to call her and call her a "nobody" what an integrity the scumbag even called his buddy to confirm she was a "nobody" Anyways they havent reported it to the insurance and we are still waiting. we also contacted the lady who told us to send pictures as she would get to the bottom of it she was so scared I told her the truth cannot get her fired and God will promote her who the hell is man anyways she then confirmed that she did tell me it was a dent the way she was behaving I believe her superiors scared her when she put me on hold and kept asking what did they tell me. I advise you please do not rent from them read all the reviews on the internet cheap will cost you because when u go there they will give you triple the price u see on priceline or other agencies.

I thought before I took out the hire I’d read reviews and all seemed good cheap deal and booked online, took £1500 deposit which was told is refunded on return of the vehicle, when I returned it the guy went out to check it and the office guy said I’ll process the return he came in and said the tyres punched? I’d just drove it 30 miles down the motorway the car also has tyre pressure monitor which was not on after arguing he said £225 for the tyre or they will take it out of my deposit I should of gone out to check it with him but got blind sided. I put it down to experience, however I’ve checked my credit card statement and as a lot on here have said my £1500 has not been returned, tried calling and left messages haven’t got through. I’ve only just realised this so I’ll be going into the office to sort it out. I chose them because they were the cheap but seems they are for a reason save yourself the worry and pay the extra

6 weeks after returning the car I received a call from a debt collecting agency that I owed £124. I had exceeded the excess mileage by 60 miles, they added late charges and admin fees. No one had contacted me to advise me I owed money. Tried to ring customer services and it rings out. I have emailed the complaints department, no response.

After almost 5 months, I still haven't received my £1,600 security deposit back. 5 MONTHS I hired a car from Easirent Heathrow for 3 months on 6th April 2020. I returned the car on 29th June and I am still waiting for my £1,600 deposit to be returned. They rarely answer their telephone and they never answer emails, comments on Facebook or on their online Chat. I finally got hold of a customer service agent 6 weeks and was told I was at the top of the list and would receive my refund within days. I'm still waiting. When I dropped the car off in Edinburgh I was told by Easirent's employee that the company was going bankrupt. As I they haven't had the decency to repay me the £1,600 they owe me or answer my emails etc, I can only assume this is true. They appear to have stolen my money.

A complete fraud. I rarely review anything but when i see the name Easirent my immediate reaction is to try to warn people to RUN as far as they can from this dreadful rental company. They tempt you with low fees, but once you are signed up they get your money through completely unfair charges. I would not be surprised if it was exposed that their staff are incentivised to add any possible unfair charges to your bill. And later there is a non existant ability to contest their unfair charges. AVOID EASIRENT AT ALL COSTS.

Easirent in my opinion is a complete rip off. I would strongly advise unsuspecting rental users to avoid and use an alternative rental company. They will get your money through unfair charges with no ability to challenge or contest. What seems like good value at the beginning ultimately ends up costing a lot of money through additional costs.

Professional Scammer! Don't be attracted by the cheap rental price. Use other car company with reputation or you ended up will be charged even more!!! I booked a Ford Fiesta online at Heathrow Airport with around 1200 GBP for two month. When I arrived Heathrow, I found that this car rental company is not near the airport!! It is actually not at the airport. You have to take bus to there. When I arrived this company, I just found that the conversation of the staff look like the scammer. They first asked me to give the credit card to him and hold my credit card. Then, they asked me to pay 2320 GPB for a full insurance!!! or I cannot drive the car. I said I would like to cancel the booking and they don't allow me to do so. Since this is the first time I drive in London. Ok Fine!! Two months later, I dropped the car, the staff said everything is fine and I think everything would be alright. However, two days after I dropped the car, my credit card has been charged for 525 GBP without any reason/notice. I ended up called the credit card company for cancelling the card and asking for a refund. This company is a well-prepared scammer and fraudulent!!! Beware!!!

There should be a 0 rating! Do Not ever rent a car from these guys! Especially if you are arriving after 6 pm. They are located 2 miles from the airport and you will be left stranded at the airport if you arrive later than early evening because apparently they close early. Happened to 4 other couples this night as well. Luckily was able to get a last minute rental from Hertz (only company that had a car left), but at 3 times the cost. According to airport staff this is a nightly occurrence with Easirent. Reporting to the BBB.

I was charged 100.00 for a full tank of fuel for a vehicle I drove off the lot with less than half a tank of gas! I returned it with the same amount of gas the vehicle had! I didn't use a full tank of gas during my trip and it is ridiculous and absurd that I would be charged 100.00 for a full tank of gas that WAS NOT in the vehicle when I drove it off the lot! I was told to to return it with the amount that was in there and I DID

Oh my goodness what a terrible car they rented to me.....DO NOT rent from this company. I arrived in Jacksonville FL on a rainy dark evening on September 29, 2020 and headed over to Easirent to pick up my car on the shuttle bus. The associates actually were very nice at the counter....but this is where it all fell apart. The car they rented me could not be seen in the dark, so they told me to take pictures of any damage on the car the next day to record it. Damages....so many, took over ten pictures...also when I locked the driver's side door it would not unlock, so I can to go to the passenger side door to crawl over the seat to unlock the driver's side door. The back doors also did not unlock. Did not notice this one, until I went to put down the windows, but the windows were manual...you know like in the late 70's early 80's. And finally I noticed the tags on the car were expired. I have rented cars all over the world and highly would not suggest you rent a car from this place ever. When I returned the car and told them my problems with the car, they said I could have always have brought the car back for another one......really????....I am on vacation. And they also hoped I would give them a high rating. Oh my goodness.....you have been warned.

HORRIBLE! Very rude person in the name of PETER, supplied numerous lies, blaming the customer for the company's mistake and cancelling a confirmed reservation without giving a coherent reason, 6 hours after car should have been picked up. Long story: Confirmed a reservation over the phone a week in advance. Everything is OK and ready to go according to the representative. Received a call on the morning of rental, asking for additional information that was not mentioned before. Later Charlie the representative (which was fair to deal with) said that the booking must be on another person details. This was explained as discrimination due to the country of origin. After changing the reservation under another person, they've asked for various documents to be supplied (license scan, 2 x proof of address). Although we were already on the go, we did manage to come up with these. It took the company hours to process these documents to say that the 3 proof of address are not sufficient. Over a phone conversation with Peter who blamed us for not supplying these documents the previous week (while they only asked for them on the morning of the rental), he wasn't willing to explain why the 3 proof of address supplied were not sufficient - saying it's a company secret how they evaluate it. He then continue to blame us on random things, most of which had nothing to do with the rental - such as blacking out sensitive information. He continued to say that we have no privacy and that he intend to cancel the rental - again without explaining the reason. Not only was Peter very rude, discriminating and aggressive, he lied about several points such as what the law is, about his colleagues not being able to speak with us and he being the last and only point of contact. He lied and concealed the reasons for cancellation. We've lost business due to the rental being canceled on the day. We spent half a day trying to comply to all their requests, on the illusion the rental will go ahead later than planned. HORRIBLE COMPANY to deal with. HORRIBLE personal experience. Bigotry experience from Peter (Charlie, the other representative was reasonable). Please do not deal with - to not help awful companies that step on customers like that. There are other choices in similar price range, or if you are not super tight on budget, it is worth the extra £10-£15 for the bigger companies.

Dishonest and Rude - Avoid at All Costs I booked online for Easirent Glasgow and the price was £60 for the weekend. I get there and they want a £2500 deposit. I say no. He then quotes £105 to reduce excess. I ask if that is full and final price. He says yes. He hands me card machine and it says £165, he’s clearly trying to pull a fast one. I query this. He starts coming up with excuses for the extra £60. He gets rude and aggressive. I say forget it, because alarm bells are ringing. As such I have no car for the weekend. Avoid at all costs. Dishonest scammers and rude.

I was charged the deposit of £1600 as sale. As soon as I saw the money being actually deducted I contacted the branch at Edinburgh airport. They apologised and immediately initiated the refund so I thought what a great service. However, then I got an email from customer service representative saying that my refund will be processed in the following period, whatever that means. I contacted them twice to prioritise the refund as I am near the limit on the credit card but they are unable to resolve the issue that was caused by their agent!
