Never using eBay again. So, I opened an account on ebay to list some of my used Apple AirPods Pro, and almost instantly the account was suspended Permanently and listing taken off. Upon contacting the useless, incompetent and outsourced agent “Monika” I was notified “a pattern of activities has led to the suspension”. When I asked what were the activities because I only listed 1 item which I own and is genuine, this is a brand new account. I was notified “we cannot share that reason because it would give chance to circumvent our safety and security systems”. Lmao so who can sell on eBay? I never received a reply, so is it “the lucky” ones? For a place set up to be used as a resale platform of used products, their practices, in my experience, were very poor and quite frankly discriminatory. Never using eBay again and neither should anyone else. Go with Amazon or Shopify etc

It's been over a month ebay since you said you would sort out my refund. You keep breaching your own contract and your money back guarantee. 18yrs you keep telling me iv been a loyal customer. Your ruining the ebay we all used to love. Since this problem iv spent my money at Amozon and a few other places. I will be leaving ebay once this problem is dealt with, if ever!!!!!

I just can't believe what ebay is doing to me. So, let me explain...after lost my job twice is 18 months due to COVID-19 issues, I put my Samsung for sale on ebay website, after ebay sent me email in capital letters 1000 "free" listings.....= wrong What they don't say in capital letters but in small print is, if you put a reserve price on that item even for 2 days, ebay will charge. So, on the 2nd day my Samsung gets damaged and I ended the sale. Now ebay wants £13.99 for a no sale, 1 bid of £1.00 that last 2 days. Not only ebay is bombarded me all the time to pay for but also threatening me with a collection agency. Shame on you ebay. I am a customer since 2010, 158 stars and 100% positvive feedback! Shame on you ebay Shame on you

I have nothing good to say, service is horrible and they don't give any update about your orders. Aliexpress delivered same item before eFail even sent first update.

Sellers beware of ebay deliberately keeping your account in so called below standard, even though you are selling items on a monthly basis but yet your account still seems to be below standard. Also ebay taking away your promotion listing tool from your account and threatening you with account suspension by emails. The company treats it's sellers like rubbish and just want you to bring them in money money money. Don't list anything over 2,500k because they will take a large portion of your money, if your a seller trying to make a profit ebay is not the place anymore as their fees have become extortionate. Facebook market and Instagram are the best places to sell now 2022 Also etsy is coming up

They take your money but do not deliver the product. When I raised this they simply ruled that I have received the product which I did not. No refund

EBAY SUPPORTS FRAUD just to make they're percentage cut, I purchased a (supposedly) 14K gold ring OVERSEAS for almost 300 dollars, when I received the ring I rapidly had it tested because it look soo cheap, it turned out to Not be gold at all, it was some type of alloy. I notified the seller and started a return, the return was so complicated and took for ever, seller gave me an address to ship it back to, after I shipped the ring back ebay had to decide weathered I will get my money back or not, and since the seller supposedly never received his POS alloy ring back, I never got my money back. Since I been having an ebay account for over 16yrs, I've experienced numerous stuff like this that keeps happening, like now I'm dealing with an item that hasn't been shipped for 2 weeks, seller saying "i don't know why USPS hasn't updated the tracking" ... this is BS and ebay just says to give it more time. Another incident is their 3rd party "EXTENDED WARRANTY" i purchased a Bulova watch and I added a yr extended warranty with a 3rd party, the item failed 9months later, I opened a claim with the warranty and it was just a nightmare, nobody from the warranty ever got back to me and you don't deal with people worst of all. All an ebay fraud. Lately I been having my cousin purchase things for me from Amazon, I think I'm just going to get my own account and delete Ebay.

Beware. I have sold items for many years on eBay. I have pretty much 100% positive feedback from my buyers. Recently however, there have been two occasions where eBay have misled me and caused me to lose a lot of money. I sold a very expensive coat to someone who after ordering it, left the country for a week and was surprised to find that the parcel wasn't outside her door when she returned. I advised that she needed to go to her post collection office and check with them because the item was far too large to go through her letter box. Instead of doing this, she raised an item not received claim with eBay who without any discussion and without even suggesting that she might want to make an attempt to find the parcel simply refunded her. When I queried this, I was told it was because I purchased the postage online via the royal mail app they were unable to track it. I was advised by a lady called Beth to start using eBay packlink. She said it's a tracked service and eBay can prove that the parcel has been posted and would then not automatically favour the buyer. So, on 14th December, I sold a gold chain and posted it (as advised) using eBay packlink and was provided with a tracking number. However, when this item failed to reach its destination, eBay (and packlink) advised that they could not track the item without an alphanumeric tracking number beginning GB. eBay couldn't give me this. They could only give me the eBay ' tracking' number which is absolutely no use to either packlink or royal mail and isn't actually a tracking number at all. You can't track anything with it. - so the eBay packlink service isn't a tracked service. It's a service which allows you to purchase postage via eBay powered by packlink but doesn't provide any kind of tracking. It just gives you a number referred to as a tracking number which can't actually be used to track anything. I would strongly suggest purchasing postage and paying extra for a proper tracking service.

My account was permanently suspended without notice or reason. Ebay automated chat system couldn’t find anything wrong. All my transactions as a buyer were complete and paid in full. Ebay refused to provide live customer service via phone or email. One the most inefficient and bizarre business I’ve ever encountered. The weirdest part is that EBay keeps sending advertisements to my personal email box encouraging. Lame and shady business

I ordered an item from Ebay to be sent to a collection point. When I tried to collect it, the staff refused to give it to me as they had a different eCP number from the one in my order. I could not return until 2 days time due to being away, with an updated email from Ebay. By then the collection centre had sent it back even though I asked them to keep it for two days, giving me a chance to sort out the discrepancy. I am weeks later waiting for a refund. .. this is an Ebay error!!!! Not mine. I should not have been in this situation at all.

eBay used to have amazing customer service, they have gone way down hill... They absolutely refused to let me talk to a person on the phone, they force you to use their chat service, this is ridiculous, I have never had a more stressful experience with customer service. Multiple times agents ended the chat before my problem was resolved. I had expressed multiple times that I had not received an email from them, I checked every folder and even searched for it, that agent just ended the chat... They give you a process to get a phone call, but it doesn't work, and that's ridiculous anyway.... If I want a phone call just call me, I'm a customer act like you care I will no longer be using eBay as a place to purchase things.... There are to many other avenues with far better customer care.... I get better service at walmart

Ebay has decided to eliminate live customer service. The phone numbers have been cancelled or sold to people trying to sell roadside assistance. I've been with ebay 20 years. This is the final nail in their coffin for me. I'm having to contact my credit card company to get refunded on item not received. Rest in Peace Ebay. A once good thing that's been run into the ground.

My account was suspended permanently for reasons they won’t tell me. I’ve got over 2 1/2 thousand pounds in sales which they are not releasing. We burried my dad 2 days ago and left me with no money for Christmas and presents!

Sold items for £125 when they moved to managed payments and I was never paid. I rang customer service more than 20 times. They were so rude telling me it's my fault they didn't pay me and they couldn't tell me where they had transferred the funds and I was unable to check on my account. I asked them to raise a complaint twice and received no answer. I've wasted hours of my time chasing this for months and months.

Hi everyone! I absolutely denounce ebay shopping because I have had one of the worst experience shopping on this site-- I lost two expensive items, that seller claims to ship with speedPAK and then was handled by the USPS that stated that it was delivered!!!! I absolutely have not seen my items, they were nowhere to found and started reaching out to the United post office to look for the items, they send me to two different offices with no resolution whatsoever, contacted seller as well to eBay customer service... I now know that I must stay AWAY from eBay forever because I am the looser lost as my money as well purchased items, and NO ONE on my side, NO HeLP from any of above mentioned companies, seems to me like they are ganged up to cover each other against the customer!!!! I ask everyone to give a good consideration before you start shopping on eBay!

Ebay does not ensure its traders follow the law, its T&C's are at odds with UK Law, and yet it insists on following them even when this is pointed out. I have given up and I am taking the vendor to the small claims court, where the law is actually applied. Additionally, when I pointed out that the trader was registered for VAT and yet the invoice had no VAT, or VAT number on it they didn't care. I will be reporting both the trader and Ebay to HMRC.
