Purchased item 30/12. EBay seller didn't put ECP number on parcel so auspost unable deliver and CNC location unable to process or give me the parcel as they cant went into system and you cant receive code to collect, CNC location who after multiple attempts at delivery returned to the seller via post box which no one can trace. The seller will not refund. I spent weeks logging cases with auspost ebay and PayPal, no action countless hours trying to get ebay to follow up. Auspost officially classed the item as lost at which point the lying seller misled ebay by providing false delivery details closed the case. Then had to spend more hours with ebay appealing the case every time ebay had no idea had to explain everything. EBay finally advised they will refund the item at which point the seller provided false I information to paypal to stop me getting a refund or for them being liable and so they can keep the $450 item and keep my money. The whole process is set up to protect the seller and ebay. EBay sellers mistake and ebay click and collect locations mistake and its the buyer who pays in time and money. Still waiting for refund its now 07/02!! The only goal can be that the buyer will give up and the seller gets $900 worth, great ebay seller scam. Never buying from ebay again. The cnc location is supposed to call ebay and confirm the details and the seller decided not to use ebay tracking or ECP no. As the item was undeliverable the auspost just left the item at cnc location where it sat for a week before they sent it back return to seller the whole time I was calling and going into store but no one could find it because they couldn't scan it with no ECP. I had to investigate everything and call managers, provide proof. I call ebay ebay and send emails constantly and no one contacts you or calls the cnc location to verify which would take 5mins. Finally I got someone who made the call but now 5 days later no refund and even when it comes through it is refunded to paypal account or card you paid from in your paypal.account then you have to wait another week for it to go o to your card. Both ebay and PayPal treat the buyer as a the accused its nuts!!!

Horrible customer service, sellers on Ebay have no protection at all. I sold a U.S. Army train to a guy that then opened a case up against me saying item was not what he wanted but then asked for a partial refund that was granted by Ebay and he kept my train. Ebay did nothing.

Absolutely HORRIBLE company!! do not trust these people at all as a seller. I sold a boxed set of DVDs, it was the entire Will & Grace Series, most of the DVDs, had never even been out of the box, so they were in great condition. After 30 days the buyer decided they wanted to return them, which my profile states that I do not accept returns. The reason he wanted to return them is he said they were all scratched and skipped. They had never been out of the box, except maybe 2 of the, sop after 30 days they want me to refund him the money and let him keep the DVDs or if I want them I have to pay the shipping. So they want me to refund the auction price, the original cost he paid for shipping, then pay him to ship them back to me, after he damaged them and they are no longer good to sell. they do not care about their sellers and they need to realize that sellers fees are where their money comes from. Plus after authorizing this return, they wanted me to pay the seller fees, they will never get that I can assure them.

I purchased 4 tires from them, on the specifications they claim it fitted my car. They had the option to ship the tires to the tire shop and pay a extra fee. When the tire shop tried to install the tires they said that the tired were the wrong size. Intermediately i contacted the representative and he said that it was OK to leave the tires in the shop and they would figure it out later. He requested the refund after i waited 2 weeks I called again and they said that they wouldn't refund the money because I didn't return the tires, I explained to the representative that I did exactly what the representative asked me to do and when he transferred me to the supervisor he said that he will refund me the money, I waited 2 weeks again, When I called they said they will not refund the money. I spend one hour on the phone I spoke with Rafy and he said he would refund the money. I waited another ten days and didn't receive the money. when I called again they said they will not refund my money. At this point i don't know what to do.

Use to good place to order things you need for a good price.not no more you be lucky to receive the items.few times in 2019 i didn't receive anything.i use to shop at ebay not no more.i shop at Amazon

hocking service from customer services… Shocking service from customer services who don't speak or understand English. After I had my account hacked I was advised to change my password which I did. No refund was given nor postage for sending back product. Instead I was left to change bank details, notify PayPal and also left out of pocket. eBay absolutely useless and of no help whatsoever. eBay users beware.

Worst application ever! I have been trying to sell something I was trying to put it up on the website But as soon i get to the uploading a picture part, it asks me to start from registering again, and starting all over again I could never get to the end! Frustrating

This is the first and last time I sell anything on Ebay. I sold a laptop for 1175.00. After navigating and maneuvering around a steady flow of scammers I finally got a legit buyer. What I was not aware of was the 21 day holding period after the sale?!?!? What garbage!! I called 3 times where 2 of those times I was told conflicting things. One said I should receive my money 24 hours after delivery. The 3rd time I called I was transferred to somebody who actually worked from the U.S. and spoke English well who then told me that I was basically s**t outta luck and there was nothing they could do. BS...I know there's somebody in Ebay who can release funds but they choose to lie and tell people they can't. Oh and 135.00 in fees!?!? F*** Ebay. I'm done.

ebay customer since 2005. Recently purchased a pair of shoes, ordered med and received large. The seller wanted me to pay return shipping for HIS mistake (megashoes). Ebay refused to stand behind their buyer protection when I called because I did not know how to use their system with new policies! I do NOT recommend using ebay anymore with the policy changes... buyer BEWARE!!!

I just wander how eBay got almost 5 stars here. If you browse the reviews - you can’t even see anything more than 1 star... eBay is faking even here ... no more eBay for me .. got scammed twice .. I learned my lesson . STAY AWAY IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ROBBED!!! eBay is a big scam in my personal opinion!

eBay I’m not safe to sell for sure. You will be scammed one day. Be careful . I lost an expensive item , because I sold it on a bay and the buyer reported my item was not authentic! WTF?! How can I prove if I don’t have it anymore? They returned money and buyer never sent it back . Collins to customer service is waist of time . They repeat the same think - buyer reported on me . Really? And they believed? You can literally report anyone and anything, no one will investigate .. STAY AWAY FROM EBAY !

Had good experience with eBay for a while until got a scammer buyer. Purchased authentic Chanel brooch and in 10 days (!) buyer requested a return , saying it didn’t seem authentic. Buyer reported me as well . WTF? I accepted the return same day and provided with return label . Buyer never sent my brooch back and never responded to my messages. In 3 days eBay automatically returned her money ( of course from my account ) and I didn’t understand why, since I handled the return properly .When I called ( multiple times) to customer service to discuss my issue , I got only answer , that my account is suspended and they couldn’t do anything for me. Great! So, anyone can report anything , get the money back and keep your expensive item ( steal it ) and you as a seller have no protection at all. I am very disappointed and don’t feel comfortable to sell anything on eBay and don’t recommend to anyone . Of course you can probably sell something you don’t mind to loose , but never sell expensive staff here - you might regret it really bad. The policy is fake on eBay - even toy note - no returns in your post - it means nothing, because buyer can tell “ the item is not as described “ and can request a return anyway . Such a rip off ! They help scammers to steal and get away .. As a buyer - you are neglected and helpless ...

I sold an item on eBay and the buyer was lying from the beginning which I made a claim and spoke to customer service about. The buyer sent item back but to a wrong address, where EBay is still no help saying they can’t do anything!!! And now buyer got a refund from eBay and got the item back and I have to make a claim through PayPal because EBay won’t do anything. I will buy from amazon! I will never sell or buy from eBay again!!!

Sold a completely dead galaxy S8 plus, indicated it wasn't working and no returns. Sold it, and the person said it was broken so he wanted a refund... And ScamBay sided with them!!!

Bought a photo album. It has never been delivered. Ebay refused to refund my money. Stating thd item was delivered. When asked fof proof of signature. No response. Ebay is a scam

I was under the impression that to list my item (cell phone) would be free. "50 Free listings" was the eye catching message. I ended up being charged 58 dollars!!!! Cant email ebay to contact them.... This company absolutely will not be spoken of very highly AT ALL!!!! Ebay only is good to buyers and that is it!! Sellers be aware. I would give a negative 5 star if possible.
